Linda on the other hand allowed her to let it all out, she is aware Esmeralda still hasn't gotten over what happened earlier. She herself hasn't finished processing all that just happened either.

Entering earlier and seeing Robert lying with his eyes closed without moving at all was a scare of a lifetime.

Linda turns and gazes at Robert, he is still unconscious due to the sedative he was given by the doctor. She holds Esmeralda tightly as she rests in her arms, "Sis, do you know why aunt and Petro haven't arrived yet?" Linda suddenly heard Esmeralda ask.

"Maybe aunt fall asleep, and didn't overhear when you were screaming… and as for Petro, you know he has been with an aunt since he came back so maybe might have also been resting with her." Linda lied.

Linda knows very well that Vanessa and her son heard when Esmeralda was screaming for everyone to come earlier, but the two so-called good sisters and nephews refused to come out. that Vanessa is more dangerous than she had imagined, Linda sighed, she definitely has to keep a close eye on them both.

"Maybe you are right."

"Uhm-mm."

When Linda heard Esmeralda utter 'maybe you are right' she realized Esmeralda also is beginning to see the other side of Vanessa too. But she can't say anything now to her; Esmeralda is already in too much tension with what is going on with Robert. And she won't allow Vanessa to worsen the situation.

"Don't worry sis, dad, will wake up soon, hun?"

"You are right Sis."

"But I want to go and check on aunt and Petro to see why they aren't here yet," Esmeralda muttered.

"How about you let me do that Sis, you can stay here with dad… besides I know you don't want to leave his side too," Linda said, in as badly as she wants to expose Vanessa's true colors, she can't allow Esmeralda to go and see Vanessa. She might just end up just like their father with a heart attack as well.

Although Esmeralda is starting to see another side of Vanessa, Linda is aware she won't be able to take it if she went to Vanessa and realized she isn't actually speaking but was in fact awake all this time and overheard all the screaming she did earlier. But choose to ignore it and she in fact doesn't care about her own brother at all.

And Robert, he might end up dying when he gets to hear what his sister's true color is, with how fragile his heart is now. That's why she must prevent all this from happening and make sure to be the one that will to Vanessa's room.

"I will go and check on them.''

Linda ruffled Esmeralda's hair and left, she behaved total as if she is the elder one and not Esmeralda.

Esmeralda looked over at the door and smiled, she has forgotten how her little sister has matured over the past years. Time passed by so quickly that even she still can't believe, it's been almost two and half a year since her separation from Elias.

She really thought she was never going to get over Elias but time proved her wrong, she is over him and finally free from all the pains he caused her. All she wants now is for Robert to finally wake up so she takes care of him and makes sure this doesn't happen again.

Esmeralda held her father's hand, "Dad, wake up soon okay?"

Linda forced to push and open the door of Vanessa's room, like she expected, she found them both lying but definitely not sleeping. She knew they were pretending to not have heard Esmeralda earlier.

"What'' she eyed Vanessa "did I startle the both of you?"

Petro glared at her, she has the nerve to kick open the door of his mother's room like this? The girl is already too much on his neck and she is getting more and more.

"How dare you open this door like this Linda Jones?"

"I dare just like you both had the nerve to be so shameless," Linda retaliates back.

"What are you talking about?" Vanessa purposely asked.

Linda eyed her so-called aunt, the woman is very dangerous if she can still pretend to be oblivious to what is happening, "Being innocent, hmm aunt?"

Vanessa greets her teeth, she has had enough of the girl but for her plan to be successful she needs to tolerate the little lady, "What do you mean by that?"

Petro kept eying Linda who is busy arguing with his mother, the girl was too intense with what she is doing that she didn't even notice him looking at her since.
