Mia walked in and then spoke, "Mr. Armani, Mrs. Armani" she shook their hands and then sat down comfortably.....the brooks walked in after a few minutes.
"Mr. Armani, Mrs. Armani." Mr. Brooks spoke.
"Welcome, President Brooks."
"Thank you this is my wife Mrs. Brooks my eldest daughter Mia Johns and my youngest Chloe Brooks."
"Nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Armani." Mrs. Brooks spoke then Chloe.
Mrs. Brooks turned then saw Mia sitting down with no care in the world she went forward then whispered..."show some respect." Which was heard by everyone they all turned and then looked at her.
Mr. Brooks shook his head signaling her to stop what she was doing. She immediately sat down quietly.
After a few seconds, Mason Armani was pushed in sitting in the wheelchair with a dark blue suit his elegance and handsome face couldn't be missed.
For a minute, Chloe almost regretted not marrying him but when she thought about him being crippled she quickly shook the idea away.
Mia was the only one busy playing games with her phone with her headphones hanging on her neck.
"Young Master Armani" the Brooks family stood up at once. Mason looked at them but what caught his eye was the other petite girl sitting down and playing games as if nothing else mattered.
Mrs. Brooks saw Mason staring at Mia she became worried that he might change his mind so she pulled Mia's arm trying to make her stand but instead Mia glared at her coldly that she had to let go.
"I'll marry her," Mason spoke still staring at Mia.
"Oooh, thats good then." Mr. Brooks heaved a sigh of relief.
"We'll leave her to you then take care of my daughter." Mrs. Brooks smiled in relief which made Mia sneer.
"You can take your leave now Mr. and Mrs. Brooks I'll bring Miss Johns back," Mason spoke.
"No problem."
After they left Mia finally spoke she kept her phone in her pocket and then looked at Mason...
"Young Master Armani, can we talk privately?"
"Sure follow me."
"I'll help you." Mia pushed his wheelchair following his instructions then walked into a large room filled with books which she guessed might be his study room.
"Have a seat."
"Thank you."
"What do you want to talk about Miss Johns."
Mia sat down and then folded her legs lazily.
"President Armani, can I take a look at your legs?"
"Okay," Mason spoke removing the blanket and revealing his slender thighs. Mia stood up and then knelt in front of him he touched both of his legs and then touched his pulse. She stood up and then walked back to her seat.
"I can cure you." She spoke calmly.
"Are you a doctor?"
"Mmh sort of."
"Okay, I trust you."
"I'll start the process tomorrow." She stood up and then walked out without waiting for Mason's reply.
Mia went back to her grandmother's place...there was one person who knew Mia's vulnerability and that was her grandmother. Mia had a soft spot for her since she was a mother figure.
"How is she?" Mia asked Addison.
"No."
"Go rest I'll check on her."
"Okay."
"Grandma..." Mia spoke softly she took her arm and then felt her pulse.
"Mia doesn't worry about me grandma is fine.....I want you to promise something." She spoke weakly.
"Grandma...."
"Go to school grandma can take care of herself...grandma wants you to find your own life."
"But grandmaa.."
"Listen to me.."
"Okay, I'll listen to grandma."
"Promise grandma first."
"Okay, grandma I promise."
"Have a rest grandma." She covered her with a quilt and then walked out.
"We'll go to school."
"Why do you need to go to school you are already skilled enough."
"I made grandma a promise."
"Am going to the Brooks."
"Okay take care."
"Mmmmh."
