Thomas walked back to Division A building elated, he had drained the high ranking officials dry especially when he made a ruckus to spread the false alarm in the headquarters. The three high-ranking officials were blaming themselves for inviting the devil for interrogation.
Thomas had to force the three high-ranking officials to open their secured library for him where he spent all day copying everything on formation and alchemy. Since the military had waged war for many years. Their library was vastly more than the imperial library. There, Thomas discovers much ancient text that had been lost or forgotten. As a book fanatic, he absorbed all the knowledge like a sponge.
Thomas was lost in thought while walking in the street of the headquarter building. He never noticed the people's looks. He was digesting all the information he read and planning the best course of action.
