"Die!" One grins hideously and drives towards Xiao's position. No one notices that a thick string tied between two trees. Several grenades are attached. The military SUV runs into the string and the trees are pulled off by the great momentum. Subjects in the SUV all falls off. Before they react, the explosion of grenades covers their version. The scattered crack is all over the bullet-proof glass shortly after.

Xiao knew that they will drive to close the distance with sniper so he made a grenade trap. At the moment of the grenades exploded, Xiao takes off the night version. The explorsion lights up the scene and he shots at the cracked glass with common bullets. "Bang~Bang~Bang~" The crack is expanding. The target is the driver's position.

One reacts quickly and pull the subject sitting on the co-driver to block the bullets. The next second, the bullets break the glasses and strike the 'shield'. Stink blood is over One's body again.

"Get off!" The rest squad follows the order. At this live or dead moment, One shots towards Xiao's direction with his shotgun regardless of the range. The rest mirror One's behaviour and shot without aim. Xiao pauses the attack and changes the magazine. He knows that the enemies are in panic. When they change the magazines, he will have chance.

Soon the subject squad reap what they sow. When their magazines are fired empty, the deadly shots from the rifle come. Accurate and deadly. "Bang~Bang~Bang~" The subjects are shot at their head one by one. Xiao deliberately avoid One as he wants to leave One to the last. One witnesses his teammates falls one by one and gets furious. He quickly changes the magazine and shots without aim. He shouts ,"Who is the hell are you! Show yourself!" He was confident on the subject squad and didn't expect their first battle would end up like this. "Ka~ka~" His magazine is empty again, "Get the fuck out here."

This moment, Xiao shows up with a cold face. One's eyes enlarge. He couldn't believe what he see,"Zero? Impossible!" From his point of view, Xiao ran away from the base and should be like a startled fly. He couldn't believe Zero dares to attack the chase squad! One now realises it was a big mistake to doubt what Zero did when he escaped from the base. Zero is much stronger than him! The jealous fire lights up in One's mind,"I am the best. You are a failed subject! Trash!" Hate takes away One's sense. He pulls out a pistol and about to shot. Xiao has preparation and a bullet takes One's right arm.

Blood flies and One looks at his lost arm and stoned. Another bullet hits on his leg and he falls. Right in front of him, Xiao slowly changes the magazine and then breaks his rest arm and leg. One is unable to move on the ground. He stares at Xiao with hate like Skywalker stared at Obi-wan."Zero!!" One howls like a hurt beast. "Too noisy." Xiao steps forward and kicks off One's mandible. "Do you know why I left you at last? I don't want to let you die too easily." One can't talk and there is only 'ah, en' sounds from his throat. He struggles like a snail. The blood streams from the cuts.

Suddenly, the screen which fells near One lights up and the virtual image of the leader shows up, "Zero, enough!" Xiao frowns and doesn't answer. "I am the leader of the Sprout. There is only death awaiting for betrayal. You can't fight the organisation. Wherever you go, the organisation will chase you back. Every second of your life shall be in endless fear." He pauses deliberately and says like a politician, "But I can give you a chance."

"What chance?"

"Come back and confess, take the trial. I assure your memory will remain. Higher position will be there for you. Not a subject any more." The leader says. He appreciates the ability Zero shows. He wants to figure out how and if it is replicateable. If so, a troop of strong warriors will under his command.

One is furious. Why leader gives Zero all privileges?? He killed so many people in the organisaion! Xiao reads One's face and asks in sacasim ,"I killed so many people. Would you let me off?""Dead duds, it's fine." The leader answers without hesitate as if the bodies were not there. One trembles. He collapses.

"What makes you think I will work for you?"

"The vocation is in our hand. We are ambitious and we will bring the ultimate peace to the planet. Why do you hesitate? Is it the unfair treat you had? Don't be petty! A bit suffering is essential to get stronger."

Xiao replies emtionless, "I am not interested in your goal. You killed my friends. Thus we are enemy. That's it."

The voice of the leader goes cold, "Trust me, you can't escape."

"Then, I will destroy you." Xiao replies seriously. The Sprout can't be convinced. They are avoid of sympathy. Fight the violence with violence is in their blood.

The leader acts like heard a big joke, "Destroy the organisation? You? You are a nuance compared to us. What gives the confidence? Killing those duds? Shallow!"

"Let's see. Btw, you never know how big the universe is." Xiao shakes his head and shots three bullets into one's chest. One died. The subject squad are wiped out! Though the face of the leader hides under the mask, his rage is obvious, "You will regret it!" That's the last sentence before he cuts the conversation
