The next day, Elara woke up to a text from Evie informing her that Director Smith had called them to sign the contract. As she headed downstairs for breakfast, her thoughts lingered on the idea of asking Vincent to accompany her for dinner with her family. The hesitation in her eyes betrayed a mix of emotions.

Vincent sighed and said, "Elara, what is bothering you?" Elara hesitated before speaking, "Well, the thing is, my dad invited us for dinner tonight, and I was wondering if you have time."

Angela chimed in, "Of course, he has time." Mrs. Holloway interjected, "Angela, let them speak." Angela apologized, "Sorry, Mom." Mrs. Holloway continued, "But Angela is right. If you want to go and have dinner with your family, he will have to go with you."

Vincent agreed, "Sure, what time?" Elara replied, "7 pm." Vincent assured her, "I will pick you up, so we can go together." Elara smiled gratefully and said, "Thank you."
