The mad scientist (part 6)

"He has to be somewhere around here," Ben said as he tried to locate Dr Animo by following the destruction that he leaves to behind.

"Ah. There he is." Ben said as he saw a large mammoth standing still on a pile of destroyed parts of a large building.

And Animo was still riding on top of it. He seems to be confronting someone in a suit so he didn't notice that Ben landed near him as a giant four-arms monster.

Ben stopped and take cover before Animo noticed him and pressed the dial on one of his arms to transform back into a human.

After all, it is harder to notice a smaller child than a literal giant alien.

He wanted to hear what is Animo's true motivation as his theory on revenge was just speculation.

And he has used four arms for a few minutes already so if he engages in a head-on fight, timing out and getting killed in combat is a huge possibility and he doesn't want it.

Currently, Ben's priority is to stop Animo.

Shielding some stranger by risking his life is not in his mind.

As long as he can capture or eliminate Animo it would be good enough for Ben.

He then hides behind a wall and waited to listen to what Animo was saying to the anonymous man.

"I believe you have something that belongs to me," Animo said as he jumped down from the mammoth.

".... Wha who are you?" The grey-haired man asked.

Animo then walked towards a golden-coloured item which appears to be a trophy.

The grey hair man was speechless and in awe so he looked at Animo's actions in shock.

"I like to thank this community for this honour," he said as he looked at the grey-haired man and smiled.

Then the mammoth approached the grey hair man as it prepared to attack him.

[I knew that Animo was after the trophy. Now I have to think of how to stop that thing.] Ben thought in his mind as he secretly observed Animo as he orders the mammoth to maul the grey-haired man in almost every possible way.

It stomps on the grey-haired man's legs and hands. It pierced the part of the grey-haired man's body with the mammoth's long and sharp tusks.

Animo even kicked the grey hair man once during the process of him torturing him.

And he seemed to be happy that things are progressing in the way that he hoped as he laughed maliciously.

"See what happens when you cross the path of the great Dr Animo. The greatest scientist in this city. State. And the world." Animo laughed.

The grey-haired man was still alive as the injuries inflicted on him were not lethal. And he didn't bleed enough from his wounds to die from blood loss.

"Please. You can have anything you want. Just let me die." The man even begged Animo to let him die.

"I am afraid I cannot do that old friend. After all, you still have to see me achieve the goal that many incompetent scientists before me like you have failed. World peace." Animo said.

"Please just let me die." The Grey hair man said.

"How am I going to do that? That's easy. By ruling every part of the world by myself. If everyone followed the orders from a brilliant mind like me the world will finally achieve peace." Animo said as he ignored the grey-haired man's pleas.

[This guy is mad. This is not good I have to eliminate someone like him as fast as possible. Omnitrix, please recharge fast. Otherwise, Grandpa Max will arrive here and I would not be able to kill a dangerous person like him.] Ben thought as he looked at the Omnitrix.

He wanted to kill Animo but he knew he probably won't be able to do something like that if Max appears in front of him.

It was already a few minutes since Ben started to listen to Animo's dialogues.

"Tititi." the sound was heard and the Omnitrix was finally recharged.

"What was that sound?" Animo said as he turned towards the direction where Ben was hiding.

"Finally," Ben said as he quickly changed into an alien with a bright green light.
