"It looks like I will be all alone when everything is said and done," Gwen said.

"No one to console me when I am sad. No one is there for me when I am feeling hurt. I pushed away all of them because of my childishness." Gwen said.

"I probably deserved this," Gwen said as the charm that she was wearing on her neck started to glow.

"There you are," Ben said as he appeared behind the tree that Gwen was sitting under.

"Ben? How did you find me?" Gwen asked as she looked at Ben.

Although there were no tears in her eyes there was still snot on her nose. And her eyes were still red.

It seems like she cried before he gets there.

"Do you have anything you want to say to me?" Ben asked as he handed her a tissue.

"I am sorry," Gwen said to Ben.

"Why? You have not done anything to me. Well, At least to my knowledge. If you are the one that calls the three enemies today to kill me then we will have a problem." Ben said.

"It was a terrible joke but still Thank you for trying to cheer me up," Gwen said to Ben as she gives a small laugh.

"It was not a joke," Ben said to Gwen.

"..." Gwen was speechless.

But smiled and sat down near her. Gwen sighed in relief as she realizes that he was just messing with her.

"Can you tell me what happened between you and Grandpa?" Ben asked.

"Well, you see I have been feeling useless since I cannot help you and Grandpa Max. You have the Omnitrix and Grandpa Max is a former plumber. I am the only one that does not possess any special powers. So I lashed out at him." Gwen said to Ben.

"So? That's it." Ben asked Gwen.

"What? Doesn't it frustrate you that I am dragging you down?" Gwen asked Ben.

"Yeah," Ben replied.

"But that is a great part of having people around you. You have people that care about you, you have people that you are worried about. Otherwise, you are just a one-man army that will be alone for your entirety and I don't think I will like that." Ben said to Gwen.

"And you don't have to be special too. I don't know about you, but I only care about you and Grandpa Max because you two are my precious family. And even if Grandpa is a renowned plumber he was probably still a normal human at your age." Ben said to Gwen which makes her smile.

"Family, you know we are not blood-related right?" Gwen said to Ben.

"So. Who the hell decides that you need blood relation to become a family? If I said you are my family then you are my family. No one is probably going to convince me otherwise." Ben said to Gwen.

"Let's go back. I will help you apologize to Grandpa. He is still probably in the town trying to find you." Ben said to Gwen as he extended his hand towards her.

"Yeah. Thanks." Gwen said to Ben as she accepted his hand.

As she got up she gave Ben a peck on his right cheek. Ben was shocked.

"Hey. Don't do that again. It is not the usual you. It's kind of creepy." Ben said to Gwen as he rubbed the cheek that he was kissed on with his hand.

"Hey, Ben. Come on. Didn't you say that you will help me apologize to Grandpa?" Gwen replied as she ignored Ben's words and started to run toward the town.

The two of them didn't realize that they are being watched by Tetrax Shard during their short conversation.

"A kid. He transformed immediately at the restaurant so I didn't notice his real form. But he is a still kid." Tetrax said.

"Well. No matters. At least he seems to have some brain above his shoulders. As long as I can assure you that we are on the same side and he is a worthy wielder of the Omnitrix it is enough. I still need to see what kind of person he is." Tetrax said as he put on his helmet he disappeared into the shadows.

In a nearby town.

"Aliens appeared near Washington Dc museum?" A black-haired kid as he looked at a newspaper cover that shows a picture of four arms.

"Interesting. If I can absorb its powers I can make load of cash." He smiled as he found his next target.
