You were not breathing

"Miss!"

The girl's voice permeated into Mara's ears. Making the young woman eyes widened in realization. The sight of the two girls squeezing their eyes as tears were seen on their faces fell into her sight. She was lying in the girl's arms.

Lila was holding the young woman in her arms. Tears were dripping from the girl's eyes non stop. 'Why the heck are they crying?' Mara furrowed her brows and tried to sit up. Her movement caused the two girls to open her eyes since they were squeezing their tears out.

"OH MY GOD! Miss!!" Lila's loud shout made Mara's ears almost bleed. "Gosh, please lower your voice, Lila" a murmur escaped her lips. "You are still alive, Miss!" Lily suddenly shouted, bringing the confusion to the young woman.

"What the heck do you mean with I am still alive? Of course, I am still breathing!" Mara replied as her brows pulled together in perplexity. "No, Miss! You were not breathing just awhile ago!" Lila clarified. But it made the young woman puzzled.
