Is That Really a Little Girl?!
After checking my new appearance and seeing a dragon passing by, I started using one of my race's abilities, Familiar.
The moment I used it, one wolf and three bats appeared from within my shadow. They stand in front of me and wait to be given orders.
Using my mind, I ordered them to search the area to see if there were any towns or villages close to their current location.
After that, I started checking my item box to see if god had put something in it. And sure enough it contained an ordinary pair of shirts and pants, and a number of gold coins.
I took out a shirt and pants that were 'accidentally' the same size as my current body condition.
I suspect god already knew that I would be born in human form so he prepared all this.
Not that I want to complain.
After wearing clothes, I started to try all my skills one by one.
Starting from blood manipulation which is the expertise of the original vampire. I activated it and started imagining a sword. A sword made of my blood formed in my hand.
Just like the name suggests, I can control my blood or the blood of other creatures to use as an attack.
Next I tried to use mystification. My body suddenly turned from my feet to my head into a mist of blood. The sensation of being misted was very strange.
I can still use all my senses normally, but it still feels weird when I don't have a body.
After disabling it, I wanted to try other abilities, but a signal came from one of my familiars.
There seemed to be a fully armored army and even cavalrymen not far from my position. 'Is there any war in this area?'
I activated Shapeshift and turned into a bat. Contrary to what I thought, flying was much easier than I had imagined.
I started flying towards the location my familiar reported while enjoying the cool night breeze and moonlight.
Along the way I saw all kinds of sleeping animals and monsters, except maybe a few nocturnal animals and monsters. They still roam around looking for prey at night.
After a few minutes of flying, I arrived at the place where the soldiers had built their camp. There I saw many people who were resting and some were on guard. Especially in a tent in the middle where the guard is very tight.
'Someone important must be in that tent. It's none of my business anyway.'
Not long after, a girl who looked about the same age as me came out of the tent. The guards who saw her immediately greeted her politely.
The girl seemed to be saying something to the guard in front of her and the guard passed the sword that was on his waist to the girl.
'What does she intend to do with that sword.'
I was confused about the behavior of the girl who suddenly asked for a sword and started walking towards... me?
'Don't tell me that she knows about my whereabouts.'
My suspicions were revealed when she took a throwing stance and threw the sword in her hand with great force.
'Wh-'
Due to the force of the girl's throw, her sword moved very fast towards me making it very difficult to dodge it.
Left with no other choice, I activated mystification and immediately turned into mist causing the sword to pass me by.
After that, I started to take distance from the camp to avoid the little monster.
'Damn it! Are all the children in this world like that?!'
That would be really horrible if that were true.

Venelana's PoV
'Is that just my feeling? But I really feel like there is a strong aura coming from that direction.'
I was getting ready to sleep when suddenly a powerful aura appeared and disturbed me.
"Miss Brunhilde, is there something in that direction?" - Knight
Ah, it seems my behavior confused them.
"Nothing. It's just my feeling. Sorry for your sword." - Venelana
I looked at the trees before heading back into my tent.

After escaping from the monster girl, I started heading towards a town not far from here according to the information from my familiar,
The name of the town is Ventacio. And the city's mayor seems to be a vampire too. Perhaps this is an opportunity to learn from the seniors in the vampire way of life.
