"The owner of Oreo was buried in what?"

"Umm… the Pringles can!"

Jungkook smacked the side of my head causing me to wince, I frowned at him before rolling my eyes.

"It's a normal coffin silly! You looked lost that's why I asked that… You good?"

He said all this in one breath, staring at me with his brown doe that were looking directly into mine causing me to admire them for a few seconds before telling him what was wrong.

"It's nothing, really. I'm just really nervous about the exams. You know the educational system here is way different from where I was and it's kinda making me me nervous. Like… what if I'm gonna turn out to be a faliure ?!"

Jungkook was ready to give me another hard hit on the head, but upon looking at me, he saw my face emotionless but my eyes showing a feeling he couldn't predict. He rolled his eyes at this and held my face up close causing me to pout. He smiled at this before speaking.

"Look, you don't need to be scared or nervous of anything. I'm always gonna be here for you okay. I mean, aren't we both studying at the same university? And besides, the exams aren't gonna be as hard as you think or heard. It's something I know, you can do, so don't stress about it much and get your act together"

He said all this and had his eyes piercing into mine portraying the word 'okay?' and finally let go of my face. I felt good at the fact that he had so much belief in me because I wasn't close to many persons.

Jin barged into our room to give us our daily dose of harrasment by displacing the pillow and slightly flipping my duvet and leaving the door wide open. Jungkook and I rolled our eyes at his childishness, he was bored since he didn't to to work today and just had to disturb us a bit.

I got up to close the door but wasn't paying attention, causing me to stub my toe hardly against the door.

I hopped on my unaffected foot silently, while Kook looked around cluelessly with a darkly raised eyebrow.

"What's wrong with you all of a sudden?" Stressing on the word 'you' and getting up to help me get seated on my bed. I now had the affected foot in my bed, massaging it carefully while the other was on the floor.

"I stubbed my toe" I said with an emotionless look on my face while he just shot a cold glare at me

"It's no biggie, you'll be fine in seconds"

I noticed the coldness in his behaviour and made the confused face he made a few seconds ago. I decided that it would be best not to ask him when he was in such a state in order to not worsen his mood.

When the pain subsided, I decided to go downstairs to treat myself to some chips. I also brought an extra pack, just in case Jungkook would want some.

On getting to the room, I saw him balancing into his bed after he must have obviously packed the books to their respective places.

"Hey, you want some?"

"No, I'm okay"

He looked worried- not in a bad way, just concerned- as he started at his phone scrolling through tiktok like he was just waiting for someone's text.

Hmm, I guess that's why he's been kinda cold

Eleanor wondered whose text he might have been expecting or the real reason behind that look on his face. His face was void of emotions but his eyes weren't stable and were just glancing around the room lazily and then back to his phone countless times. She just dismissed these thoughts and focused on the food she had brought for herself.

I happily plopped herself onto my bed feeding myself chips while peacefully watching tiktok until I saw a sneaky 5-digit object finding its way to my bag of chips. Before I could hit it, he swiftly stole the spiciest chip that I was saving for later.

Y'all know how that feels right?

I was only fully quipped with the holy spirit to not fight him for that chip. He stuck his tongue at me while hanging upside down from his bunk and lay back down eating my chip with a very satisfied smirk in his face.

It was time for dinner and everyone was already at the dining table. After aunt Min-Hye dished food for everyone, she began speaking about how Kook and I were preparing for university which would be in a few weeks. I was nervous about starting school in a whole different place where I'd be literally living.

I shook off my thoughts as I saw Jungkook's eyes staring at his phone with loving eyes which I often found my self lost at its beauty. I stared into his phone to see him reading a text from someone. As I was just about to look at the name of the person, his gaze shifted to me staring at his phone and turned it off.

I gave him an eye roll as I frowned thinking that he probably had a girl he liked or liked him.

I shook off the thought and focused on the unfinished food in my plate. Yes, my aunt was still unsatisfied that I wasn't plump and her goal was to basically make sure I go plump before university.

After dinner, I helped Jungkook wash the dishes- regarding our deal- and also swiped the dining germless.

When I was done, I felt exhausted and heavy from all the food aunt Min-Hye made me eat. As I walked lazily upstairs as I noticed the door to our room widenopen. I stood at the entrance and saw Kookie on his phone on the bed. As I was about to walk into the room, my eye caught the name of the person he was chatting with and how it was installed on his phone.
