The Preparation Part 2

Zithea's POV

After a 20minute drive I have finally arrived at Starbucks. I decided to order through the drive thru instead of going into the shop. I placed the order and waited for the coffee to be finished. When it was done, I drove to the window and the crew member handed my coffee to me. I gave the exact amount of money and thanked the crew before driving off to Midnight's House. Sheesh today's an exhausting day, I'm dying to lie down and sleep. I sighed then just proceeded to focus again on driving.

It's been a 30 minute drive and I'm almost near now to his house. I glanced at my watch and noticed it was already 3:30 in the morning but of course it's still dark because it's early. I wonder if he's awake by now? I thought to myself as I finally arrived at his house. I opened the gate via the facial recognition at the gate and pulled up infront of the door of the house. I pulled the break but didn't come out first. I called Midnight's phone and after 10 secs he picked up.

**Call**

Me: Hey Night I have arrived at your house. I'm outside the door but still inside my car. Help me bring the stuffs inside.

Midnight: All right, I'll be down there soon. Wait for me

Me: Okay hurry up, I'm dying to sleep T^T

Midnight: Okay okay got it.

After that he hanged up and I waited for him. After 30 secs the door has finally opened and I was greeted by Midnight who was obviously still sleepy. He went towards and I opened the trunk of my car for him to get the bags.

"Hey Night the stuffs are in the trunk, you don't have to bring it all inside. Just bring those 2 black bags, all of my tech stuffs are there. You know it, we need to be careful of those things. We can't afford to let it be damaged or hacked by anyone since we'll be using it during our job" I said as I opened the door of my car and stepped out with the coffees in my hand.

"Okay okay, let's talk inside. by the way Shiro is there inside the house" Midnight said to me as he took the bags from the trunk and carried it inside the house. I closed the trunk of my car and made sure that all of my doors our locked and I followed him inside the house. I shut the door behind me as Midnight settled the bags at the side in the living room. As I was taking my shoes off after placing the coffees onto the table, I noticed a white figure emerging from the unlit room and saw Shiro.

At first it looked like he didn't recognize me so he kept on staring at me but then he realized the it was actually me upon getting a closer look, He jumped towards me to get a hug. I hug Shiro back and patted his head as a sign of affection. I missed this tiger so much. Good thing he still remembers me. Midnight signaled Shiro to be on standby so he went near the door and sat down.

I sat on the couch then Midnight sat on the other one that's across me. I took the coffee and handed it to him. He said thanks and finally we're now gonna talk about the mission. He took a sip from his coffee then he spoke,

"Okay tell me what happened, is there a plan already or no?" He asked me curiously

"About that, nope no plans so far. Dr. Zen told me to prepare our stuffs and to standby with you while they plan at the Headquarters and then when it's planned we'll go to the headquarters together so for now, get the stuffs you'll need for the mission. Cause I already got mine as you can see" I said to him as I took a sip from my coffee and leaned my back on the couch comfortably. Ah, It was exhausting. I can finally get some rest even just for a bit.

Midnight inwardly sighs, "I thought when they asked me to come to the headquarters they would already have a plan but turns out there's none yet. " he looked tired and a bit pissed. Well given the situation, it's quite understandable.

"What can we do about it anyways? Let's just wait for them. For now, i'll get some rest while you prepare your stuffs. Keep your phone open and don't put it on silent okay? I'll sleep upstairs, bye" I said to him as I stood up and went upstairs to sleep. I saw him shooked his head but nevertheless agreed to me. I flopped myself at the couch near the balcony and entered dreamland as soon as i closed my eyes. I hope this mission ends fast and nothing bad happens to us.

Midnight's POV

I shooked my head when Zithea left me at the living room to sleep upstairs, seriously that cousin of mine. I glanced at the clock and notice it was literally almost 4am. I feel really exhausted so I went to the kitchen to drink some water first and took my phone. I walked back to the living room and shut the lights because I was planning to sleep there. I placed my phone on top of the table near the couch and max the volume in case someone call me. I motioned Shiro to come sleep next to me and he did. I lied down at the couch, hoping to sleep faster. I thought we were gonna make a plan ourselves but since Zithea's tired as well, we'll just talk in the morning.

I suddenly got a text from Dr. Zen saying the plan is almost finalized and to come at noon with Zithea to talk about it more. "Finally" I thought to myself while I was lying down then I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep but since I was tired it didn't really took that long to enter dreamland once more.
