Camp Kinser - Okinawa island - Japan

September 1st, 2060 - 6:02 AM

As the dark hours went away, the three of us immediately took part in finding our lost group seriously. At this time, we are walking in the snow, going together, hoping to find John as soon as possible.

Although my husband told us to stay where we were, I was too worried about him so I decided to search for him first instead of waiting. We fled to the South after all, so we will search around here, John and Sarah are just around here.

"See anything, Reimi?". - While walking on the snow, I looked back to check on Reimi

"Nothing, my Highness". - My servant told me there was nothing to worry about.  "Snow here is very sticky, we should only step on the shallow places". - Reimi put down her shotgun, she lifted her feet up to step on the more shallow areas

"Can I take some fresh air?". - She asked for my permission to remove the gasmask

"Shakes head... be patient". - Although wearing these gasmasks for too long makes us a bit suffocated, at least they keep us survive in this dense snowy area

We found out that the sticky snow has some kind of allergy to us, it makes us cough or sneeze whenever we smell the snow. We luckily know that these gasmasks can save us from the toxic snow.

"We should keep up...". - I urged Reimi to move faster.  "Hatano, wait". - I kept up with Hatano, trying to walk as comfortably as I could because I was still injured

Right now, Hatano is leading the entire group. I don't have experience or anything from the military, so I decided it. We move in a row formation, Hatano as an ahead scout, Reimi as a backside scout and I as an observer. Quite alright.

"How far have we gone?". - I asked Hatano while walking behind her

"Movement here isn't good for us, just be patient...". - She replied to me, then stopped walking, she looked around.  "There, we'll get there...". - She pointed to a low ground, which had a building whose roof was a bit shattered

"That location was supposed to be somewhere underground, or nea-"

"He's also looking for us, may get inside that building too".  "We need to search around...". - Hatano didn't give me a proper answer but got there right away

I decide to put my trust in Hatano at this very moment. After all, John is with her little sister and we are following the same goal. Alright... I slowly follow Hatano from behind, pulling my personal hatred away, just for now.

"My Highness". - While walking on the snow, Reimi suddenly called me

"Advisor is two percent, shall we call John ri-". - Huh...? Why did you stop talking and stood that curiously, Reimi?

"What's wrong?". - I also stopped, then saw Reimi pointing to somewhere

"What's that thing?". - Huh?

I turn around and focus on the direction where her finger is pointing to. Hatano has just sensed something from my servant's utterance, she immediately crouches and moves forward cautiously.

"Get down... get down...". - Seeing Hatano's behavior, I also followed, also asked Reimi to do the same

Right after Reimi does what I told her to, I slowly turn my head back. I focus on the direction that she pointed to. Turns out Reimi was pointing at something of the building we were intending to move to, hmmm. I must find out.

"It appears again!". - You're too loud, let me have a look to know what that is!

"What was it looked like?".

"Some kind of light, from the top of the house, it showed up then vanished in seconds". - That kind of thing is very odd to me too, Reimi

"Oh, again!". - Hearing Reimi's response, I kept my eyes on what she was looking at

"What the...". - It's some kind of light, appearing for seconds then turning off, sometimes it appears again

"Shit, sniper!!!". - Hatano roared at us.  "Hit the ground, immediately!!!!". - She lay on the snow ground like a wind, leaving us standing

"Bang!". - A flash of light hit where Hatano was standing earlier, but missed her

That was a bullet shot.

Both of us stay on the ground in panic. I don't know what a "sniper" is, but according to Hatano's reaction, that thing seems to be hostile to us.

"Bang!".  "Bang!". - Two more shots were fired from that building's roof, they fired at a tree where Hatano was sneaking in

While on the ground, I spotted Hatano crawling toward a tree then stayed in the blind spots, using the tree as a shield. That's why I'm imitating her actions, but there is no tree around us.

"Follow me, follow me...". - Then I ordered Reimi to follow me, though doing that would make us be split off from our scout

"Bang!".  "Bang!".  "Bang!". - Those bullets later targeted us, luckily they only hit the ground away from us a few meters away when we were crawling to a safe place

"Haaahhhh... haaahhhh...". - There was no tree covering us, so I decided to crawl backward.  "Urrrghhh... no". - But with my injured hand and shoulder, I got slower when I tried to crawl faster

"My Highness!". - Reimi's hand from nowhere, grabbed me at the right moment.  "We're near there, please wait...". - Then she dragged me backward, she also used all of her strength to crawl fast

"Bang!".  "Bang!". - That sniper kept missing the shots, we were both terrified and pleased when we weren't shot

A few seconds later, we manage to crawl away from that building's perimeter. Now it's not in sight anymore, we made out of the range of that sniper. We are so lucky.

But it's not over yet. Reimi and I are still terrified, especially when we are now away from Hatano's area. Luckily, Hatano is still safe. But we aren't too lucky, now we just hope to find a way to get rid of that sniper.

"Haaahhhh... haaahhhh...". - Reimi put me on a side beside her, then she breathed hard to relieve after finishing the previous dangerous moment

"Still alive...?!". - Hatano's yell came to us

"We're okay!".

"Don't know if they're friendly or not, wait there for my next orders!". - Yeah, no choice left.  "I'm gonna send 'em some Morse code, hold tight!".

Her voice suddenly turns off, and we start waiting for Hatano's response. However, we stay in the snow for seconds but haven't got to see her response yet. It's odd.

"What is she doin' ?". - Reimi turned to me, asking

"Don't know, Reimi". - I replied to my servant, I also tapped her back twice.  "Hmmmm... we can still find John in another way, without that woman".

"We should not leave our men, my Highness". - I don't leave her, but I'll save her if her little sister asks me to

I can use Hatano as a meat shield, I must use every tactic, even the dirtiest one to achieve my goal. Saving my husband also needs those tactics to be used too.

"That's just saying, I'll wait here, I believe she will be alright in any circumstances". - I also wonder what is the Morse code too. Hatano mentioned it once when we were in a firefight situation, as if that was a way to state the enemy or friend

"Just keep silent, she may be doing something to hel-".

"Bang!". - All of sudden, a single gunshot came out from ahead.  "Bang Bang Bang!". - Following it a few seconds later was three fast shots, from the same position

"Is she crazy?". - Reimi, don't be too nervous

"No no no, just stay there and listen, be patient". - That kind of shooting has some hints, some kind of communicating

"Bang!".  "Bang Bang Bang!".  "Bang!".  "Bang!".

"Bang!".  "Bang Bang Bang!".  "Bang!".  "Bang!".

"Bang Bang Bang!".  "Bang!".  "Bang Bang Bang!".  "Bang Bang Bang!".

After those gunshots end, we stay on the ground for a few more seconds. For no reason, those gunshots never come again, as if Hatano's finished sending that "Morse code".

"Shhh...". - I told Reimi to stay silent, I would like to see what happens next

A long silence around us still occurs, making Reimi and I worried although we've already prepared for the next scenarios to come. Seconds later, footsteps of someone can be heard approaching us. Reimi gets nervous, she points her shotgun forward, so do I with my pistol.

".........". - A figure shortly appeared, and it happened to be Hatano.  "Nobody can kill me... only I have that right...". - She stopped moving, staring at us calmly, even shrugged

Reimi makes a confusing face when our scout behaves so normally despite facing the earlier incident. I just stay silent, then glance around Hatano to know the situation. Hmmm... I see that her Howa Type 20 is pointed in the sky. Its barrel is strapped by a red band that she seems to have picked up somewhere.

"Are we safe yet?". - I asked her

"Nod... shakes head...". - What do you exactly mean?

"Speak it u-". - Reimi was about to yell, but I raised my hand to ask her to shut up

"From now on... whatever happens... follow me with your rifles up the sky...". - Hatano turned around, waiting for us to follow

I slowly get up alongside Reimi, then point our weapons to the sky. However, one hand of mine is injured, and the other hand is also not good for lifting heavy rifles. Changing my way, I strap the rifle to my chest. Then pull out a pistol, slowly point its barrel to the sky.

"Like this?". - Reimi spoke up before me, she asked Hatano to watch if her way of doing that was proper

"Nod... out the trigger". - Oh, the trigger discipline, Reimi forgot that lesson

Hatano doesn't say anything when she sees me. No saying, she walks forward to the building ahead, with us following her from behind for safety. That's so strange when we can now walk freely. Earlier wasn't that good, we almost died several times.

"I've sent a Morse code to 'em, remember to behave well when you get in there". - Walking behind Hatano, she reminded us of something

"What's the "Morse code" means?".

"An encoded information, used by our world's military". - Encoded information, huh? It sounds like the codenames used to reveal identities of the Royal members in my world

"What did you send them earlier...?".

"ALLY".

Hatano doesn't say anything else anymore. She steps forward, walking to the location with her Type 20. Although we haven't found John and Reimi, I've learned something interesting earlier.

"Who are those guys...?". - Reimi spoke up in a low tone, she was a bit surprised

I feel strange about my servant's behavior. I take a look at the building ahead. Somehow I spot bunches of men over there, seem to be soldiers, getting up from the snow ground with their rifles and uniforms in white.

"Keep movin', point your rifles above to make them see you're friendly". - Then why did you lower your rifle?

The three of us keep silent, just keep moving forward till we get there. We walk till we are about to reach the building, then we find out something odd around it. Hmmm... I see some corpses lying on the ground. Some are covered, filled in the dense snow, making us don't know that we are stepping on the corpses to get to the building.

Traces of dried blood can also be seen as well. Things called "vehicles", some big ones can be found stuck in the snow. Those vehicles seem to have been broken, or in pieces, caused by yesterday's night assault, the scene is terrible.

I try to ignore the scenery around me, because I want to focus on the path. Right now, we're walking to the building, and I hope John is there.

We slowly get closer to the building, those soldiers are waiting for us. Some of them point their rifles at us, while others are just standing, some are approaching us from afar. Hatano later stops moving when she is away from the building about 20 meters, I also follow her. Reimi also does the same. Now we wait.

"You should've moved closer, step forward!". - A loud voice sounded from the building, ordering us to go closer

"This distance is close enough, Sir, your men can us all before we can do anything". - Hatano replied to the loud voice, I would call it the "loudspeaker" from now on

"State your side, ladies!". - As the loudspeaker ordered us, soldiers with snowy uniforms started approaching us with their rifles at us

"PFC Shizuka Hatano, US Army".  "These two are VIPs".

"What kind of VIP?!".

"Is Colonel John Cawess here? He's my superior".

"..........". - The man on the loudspeaker suddenly stopped talking.  "Go get 'em". - Suddenly, the voice said out one last time

At the same moment, the soldiers are closer to us more than ever. They soon come to us like a wind, their rifles are still pointing at us tightly. During that process, a man steps out from the soldiers, he comes to us. He says something to our scout with a low tone, so I can't hear him.

"Drop all weapons, we'll be escorted inside". - Hatano ordered us to follow, she immediately dropped her firearms then put her hands on her back

"What should we do...?". - Reimi, I will surely get you out of here too if these men have bad intentions with us

"Follow her". - I will find the way to get out in case I find something suspicious from these soldiers

I slowly put my pistol on the ground, following it is my rifle, that's all. Reimi does the same what I did, then she puts her hands on her back like me.

"Alright, get 'em here, boys". - That man ordered his soldiers to come to us

Those soldiers, they seem to be the US. They come to us, then slowly pull out our gasmasks to see our faces. After taking our weapons, they set two men to lean through our armpits to drag us. One man is sent to our back, pushing us to move forward to the building.

"Cough! Cough!". - We coughed a little bit as we smelt the toxic snow scents

The three of us are later "escorted" by these US soldiers to the building ahead. We come to the place just in a short time. Some soldiers can be seen smoking, or standing around to guard.

"Do not look, keep goin' ". - The soldier behind me pushed my back, urging me to go faster when I slowed down to look a little bit

A moment later, they drag us inside the building. Welcoming us is a bunch of troops deploying in the place, looking at us. I wonder what will happen next to us.

I am thinking about it, and the soldiers stop. They drop us in a hallway, then walk back to where they went previously. It's strange when they dropped us here. Reimi and I are bewildered, while Hatano seems to be very calm.

This hallway seems to be empty, only has us here. Maybe these men brought us here for a particular purpose, a meeting, perhaps.

"Someone's coming here". - Reimi sounded up

We hear some footsteps, seem to be passing here. I see Hatano looking around as if to locate the footstep's direction. I also look around and then turn around. Those footsteps come from behind us.

I spot three figures coming here slowly. Two walk together, while one other is leading the way. And later... I realize the two who are walking behind the soldier who is escorting them to us. Both of them are Col. Cawess and Lt. Seeley.

"Colonel, Lieutenant?!". - Reimi was quite surprised to see both of them.  "Please help us, we were on our way to find Sir Rigen but ended up here because of your men!".

"Alright, Marine". - The Colonel did not answer, he just blinked at the Marine before him

"Roger". - That US Marine got out of the way, he later stood guard by a wall with his rifle

The Colonel and his secretary then approach us. Col. Cawess seems to be a bit surprised when my John isn't with me. Though they approach us, they don't say anything as if to wait for us to speak up first.

"Colonel, Lieutenant, please listen to my story, I know it's quite sudden to you". - I represented the entire group to speak up.  "The place was assaulted when we were resting, we got out there but then got lost".  "My husband and another of his subordinate went South, we also went there accidentally too but now still haven't found them at all".  "Please help us find my husband, Sir, he may be around here somewhere not too far".

"......". - Both of them stayed silent, though their eyes still showed me that they did focus on the issue

"If you and your men don't wanna help us, please let us out to let us find John and Sarah alone, please...".

The Colonel doesn't say anything after hearing us. Instead, he glances at his secretary, as if he is making some kind of hint. Replying to him is just her nod, that's all.

"Follow me...". - Lt. Seeley turned around, asking us to follow her

"Where are you people going to take us to?".

They don't reply. I just both wonder and suspect them. Determining whether I should go or not. I look at my servant but she just lowers her face, saying she will go if I go.

About Hatano, a shrug to reply is what she made.

Guess that we have no choice left to make, I step forward to follow the Colonel. The US Marine guy follows us as the three of us start moving. Somehow he stalks us from behind, as if to do it to backup for something. I don't know.

"Cough! Cough! Cough!". - While going, I coughed again

"Cough... urrrghhh...!". - Reimi also coughed, but she managed to hold back

Now I've noticed this issue, this is terrible. We really need to change our costumes, wearing these things will slow us down in the search for my husband and Sarah.

We need to change our clothes to new ones if we want to longer the searching without a break. These snows are not just sticky, but also annoying when our clothes can absorb these toxic.

We faced several times annoying with this toxic thing. After a time of searching in the snow, we had to take a break in a building, or anywhere that was warm. Then had to dry our clothes carefully at certain times in order to prepare for the next outside search. It's a waste of time but very effective to make sure we won't get sick.

But we are following the Colonel and his secretary right now. So I will get rid of our annoying issue later.

I look around to see where we are going. And surprisingly, Col. Cawess and Lt. Seeley have led us to a front door of some room, it is odd... to me. They don't say anything, but glance at us. The Lieutenant later opens the door silently.

"We found him in the snow... or I should say he wasn't alone that time". - Huh? What do you mean, Colonel?

"Wait wait wait...". - Wait, please don't tell me this, my husband is surely fine!

"Don't misunderstand him, we'll leave you girls alone with him for a while".

"John... John... John...". - I couldn't calm down even just in one second, so I rushed inside the room like a crazy

I get inside, worriedly looking around the place. Then I see a figure of a man sitting on a wooden crate, on the left side of the room. His face is up to the roof... I can't tell if he is sad or happy, but his dull eyes are visible to make me know.

The room's roof is broken a little bit. Some broken parts can be seen lying all over the floor, like scrap metals. The sun's rays are going down from the roof. The ray covers the man's face... he is sad.

"John!!!". - I realized that was my husband, I was so happy so I ran to him.  "You're here right now! I'm so happy to know we have reunited!!!". - My tears came out, I hugged John tightly then started crying on his shoulder

"My Lord!". - Reimi also ran to John, but she only stayed somewhere near, watching him hugged by me

"Are you okay, John? Are you hurt or anything?". - I looked up after crying, I cuddled my husband's face.  "Hey... are you sad? I'm here right now, I'm going to make it go away". - Despite hearing my sweet words as a comforting remedy, my husband did not react

"John...?". - I repeated calling my husband, but he just looked at a space, dulling.  "What's wrong? I will do everything to make you happy, please John...". - Hmmm, I must do something!

"Kiss...!". - I kissed John considerably, I even grab his hand and put it on my breast.  "John...?". - His face suddenly got soured, as if he was having some mad that he hid in his mind

"Where's my little sister...?". - Hatano's voice later came out.  "Where's she...?". - This time, her tone was... full of fear.  "What the fuck... just tell me where is she?!!!". - Her roar nearly deafened my ears, now Hatano's become someone who has "fear"

"I don't see Lady Sarah anywhere...". - Reimi looked around, then got confused.  "My Lord...?". - I also wonder where is Sarah too, Reimi. Just hope that she is alright, maybe she's gone missing while following my husband

"There...". - John's dull eyes looked in the door's direction

I look in that direction as everyone does so. Right now, the Colonel and his secretary are walking inside the room. The Marine who used to follow us, now is holding a girl in his hands. That's Sarah.

"Saaaraaahhhh!!!!!!!!!". - Hatano rushed to the Marine, she pushed him out then grabbed her little sister.  "Huh...? No no no... no no... what the fuck?!". - She fell, then kneeled on the floor with his little sister in hands.  "What the fuck is happening!!!!! She is dead!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!". - She howled, making the entire room go loud

What...? How the hell it could happen? Sarah is dead? No!

How pitiful it is... she was a very kind girl, now she died. Not surprised when my husband got sad that badly, poor him.

Reimi doesn't say anything, she looks at me as if to wait for my order. I nod, telling her to approach Hatano, sending her sincere apologies for her loss from losing her sister so suddenly. Hmmm, I just feel bad, not too sad about it. Or I should say that sadness from losing Sarah will come to me later.

In this complicated moment, I can't be sad fully. I will mourn her when the things around us get more stable, I assume. Now I must do something to relieve my husband. He is sad because of this, I understand.

"That Goddess, I must do somethin', there'll be a way to save Sarah, a way to save her from her death". - When I was focusing on Reimi, I heard my husband's voice, whispering something fast and mad.  "Fuck fuck fuck... tch, she's fucking with us, she's playing with us, fuck...". - John shoved me away, he seemed to have held back his strength.  "Fuck...". - John left the crate, he started walking around in the room non-stop, showing his berserk, his uncontrollable madness.  "Must do somethin', must do somethin', ahhh...". - He walked around once again, grunting while squeezing his hands countless times

"Are you alright, John...?". - Knowing he needs help, I approached my husband silently, asking him to let me help him gently

"I'm okay! Now get out of my sight! I need to be alone!!!!". - He roared at me, then madly approached me.  "Arrghh!". - John grunted angrily, he turned around and walked to a corner instead of approaching me, he was trying to calm his dark side

"I also want to apologize for this too...". - The Colonel later spoke up, I managed to hear his voice.  "Last night was very terrible, we got attacked, we did not predict or thought we would face it like what we got through in the World War, I'm sorry". - Then I got to Hatano's position, watching her taken pity from people

"We set up the ETW... and never thought it would cause this incident". - Col. Cawess lowered his face too, he seemed to be hinting he was also responsible for Sarah's tragic death.  "Not just you, we also lost our men too, many drowned in the snow, or died in many ways...".  "..........". - The Colonel later went silent, he slowly walked away from Hatano

"I'm sorry for what you're going through, Private... but this is war, we have no time to mourn the dead". - Lieutenant Seeley took the Colonel's place, she... the way she talked made me feel a bit unpleasant.  "The system was hacked by the PLA, we lost control".  "It had overworked and spread out that much of snow... so your little sister's death was also from us, my apologies...".  "The base's now under control, but we have to re-contact other units". 

"Now I have to go... take your time with your little sister as long as you wish". - Seeley later turned around, following her superior

"Stay right there, fuckers...". - All of sudden, my husband's grunting voice sounded out.  "No going away without having my approval...".

"Please, John, please calm down... I...". - I approached my husband, asking him to calm down

"I'm fine...".

"Shakes head... you're not".

"Get out...". - He got me away then approached the Colonel

"I know what you're goin' through, Johnny... hold it there and inhale slowly". - Colonel stopped moving, he told my husband to calm down slowly.  "Inhale and exhale, don't... do anythin' stupid, calm the hell down".

"Shut the fuck up...". - John didn't care about his old friend's advice, he approached him till both of them were very close

"Sir...?". - The Marine pointed his rifle at my husband, then asked for his superior's order

"No, you can't do that!". - I came to the Marine, so he also ended up targeting me

"Shakes head...". - Col. Cawess raised his palm to the Marine, he even shook his head to tell him not to do anything

"That's fucking all of your faults! The assault! Our separation! The shitty snow! Her death!  Everything is your fault! You killed her!!!!!!!!". - My husband roared at the Colonel, his saliva kept flying around and he was like about to beat his old friend

"Yeah... we did have the fault, but not all of it was caused by us". - The Colonel replied.  "I know you're sad, but you need to stop blaming others, go back to reality".  "Nothing we can do right now, accept it and move on, friend".

"Don't fucking l-".

"He's right, my Lord, you need to calm down!". - Reimi got John's back from behind, he held him tightly, begging him to calm down

"I'm very fine, get out!!!!!!". - He shoved her away

"John, please calm d-".

"You shut up too, shut up!!!". - He pointed to me, scolding me non-stop.  "If they hadn't turned on that system then Sarah wouldn't have to die!!!".

"Sir, you need to calm down". - The Marine raised his rifle once again, so I blocked his way to protect my husband

"Shut the hell up!!!".

"Calm down, Johnny...". - Colonel tiredly reminded my husband to calm down, and he seemed to have been exhausted from saying it times.  "Alright, we'll leave y'all alone here to calm down... meet us when you get better".  "We've gotta go, Seeley, we're late". - Then he turned around with his secretary, they started heading to the door

"You're not goin' anywhere!". - All of sudden, my husband shoved his old friend to the door harshly.  "Arrggghhh!". - His elbow shocked the girl, she got stunned

"No no no no no!!!". - I saw the Marine targeting my husband, I moved around many times to block his rifle's direction.  "Please please please please, no no no!". - He saw I was annoying, he couldn't shoot but had to tap on his walkie-talkie

"We've got a fight h-".  "Shit!". - I risked my life, I rushed to his rifle and made the Marine step back several times.  "Fucking shit, this fucking bitch is crazy?!".  "Get out of my way, I'm gonna shoot!". - He drew out his pistol, then targeted me

"Please don't hurt J-".

"Shut u-, ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!". - While aiming at me, his backside head was stunned and he fell to the ground

"Urrrghhh! Urrrghhh!". - Turned out that was Reimi who beat him.  "Urrrghhh! Urrrghhh! Urrrghhh! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Urrrghhh!". - She kept slamming him non-stop with a broken metal pipe, the Marine seemed to have been knocked out

"It's enough, it's enough". - I grabbed Reimi's holding weapon hand, asking her to stop John

"Stop it!". - I heard Lt. Seeley's yell, so I turned back

She seems to have newly got up after getting shocked in the head by the elbow. She draws out... a pistol from her holster, not good! I must save John!

"Hey, you there!!!". - I roared at her, telling her that we were the true enemies

"Huh?". - She turned around

"Yaaarrghh!". - Reimi threw the metal pipe

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!". - She didn't have enough time to react, her face took the entire throw of the metal pipe.  "Shit...!". - She fell on the ground, so I ran to her

"Ahhhhhh!". - I slammed on her hand, making her drop the pistol

I kick it away. Then Reimi comes up with bare hands, locking Seeley's neck by sitting on her, then starts beating. Reimi's role is done, now I must do the rest. I immediately turn to check on my husband. Oh, it's bad.

"Arrrrrggghhhhhhhhh!". - He grunted, beating the Colonel's tummy.  "Fuck off!!!". - He threw the pistol away too.  "Urrrrrgggghhhh!!!". - John slammed the old man to the wall, then dragged his face to collide, to the end of the wall

"Urrrghhh!". - The Colonel resisted, and managed to get off my husband.  "Urrrghhh!". - But he soon got beaten again.  "Arrrrghhh! Shit!". - Even got slammed into the wall, his lip was bleeding

The Colonel is losing the fight against my husband. He is old so that may be the answer. Can't fight against a young man with that worn-out body, despite having more experience.

Now I must interfere, cannot take it longer or things will go worse... I rush to my husband.

"Get the fuck off!!!". - John resisted as I grabbed his back.  "Get off me!!!". - He did resist, but didn't shove me or do anything with his full force

"Please, calm down!!!". - I know my husband is still calm at some point.  "Please!!!". - That's why he didn't hurt me as bad as others

"Urrrghhh!!!". - John got hit in his belly when the Colonel took the opportunity

"You're fucking dead!". - He tried to headbutt the Colonel, but missed.  "Urrrghhh...!". - John stepped back a few steps for safety

"Please stop!".

"End all of this! Right now!!!". - Hatano's voice oddly sounded out

"Yarrrrghhhhhhhhhh!!!!". - But the fight kept continuing

"Bang!". - A gunshot was suddenly fired

It got all of our attention. Everybody automatically glances at Hatano, who is now standing alone. She stands nearby her little sister, her eyes are now full of "human", the most special is her tears.

Her hand is holding a pistol - must have snatched from Seeley or the Marine, or from the Colonel too. But the odd thing is, she diverts the pistol, slowly pointing it at her head.

Oh no, something isn't right.

"Hatano, what the fuck?!". - John was shocked to see his subordinate doing that

The fighting in the room has now ended. Everyone is paying attention to Hatano. Knowing that she may be doing something awful, I search for Reimi. And she can be seen getting off Seeley.

"Reimi... go get her quick". - I told her to approach Hatano silently then strip her weapon

Reimi immediately takes my order and jumps in to do it... however, her movement is so sudden and clumsy, she gets detected right away. However, Reimi keeps approaching Hatano despite doing it in the sneaky way has failed.

"Calm down, Hatano... calm down... give it to me...". - Approaching Hatano steadily, Reimi ordered her to hand her the pistol.  "Please... please calm down, hear me".  "Urrrghhh...". - Reimi was surprised, she stopped as Hatano took out another pistol from her pocket

"Hey, don't...". - Reimi was scared when she was targeted by the pistol

"We've got some shit here, immediately get here now". - Col. Cawess talked through his Toolwatch, as if he was calling for guards.  "Girl, just calm down drop your weapons". - As he finished calling the guards, he also told Hatano to not do the awful thing too

"Sarah won't want you do this, please stop". - I spoke up, asking her to stop

"Harano, please... we can't do anything to Sarah anymore, but please listen t-".

"My life's over when my little sister died...". - Hatano looked at a space, pointing the gun to her head while saying to us.  "This is over". - Then she returned to her emotionless face for no reason

"We still have the way to save Sarah, listen!". - My husband used to save me and everyone once by meeting "Goddess Katia", so I believe him this time.  "Listen to me, don't give up that badly!". - John tried to approach Hatano, so did I

"Just listen to John, Hatano! Maybe we will be able to save Sarah, please listen t-".

"Bang!". - The part of the right side head that got shot, exploded with blood flying out, then flooded the floor

"Noooooooo!!!!!!!". - Reimi ran to Hatano as the gunshot was fired, but everything was too late for us to solve

My husband and I cannot utter a word, we feel bad for what just happened here. John walks to his subordinate's dead body with my assistance. Both of us stay silent to see Hatano and Sarah lying together on the floor.

Hatano dropped dead on the floor, with blood all around. She doesn't convulse, but died with her eyes closed, she might've closed her eyes before killing herself by that tragic gunshot.

"What happened here, Sir?! We heard gunshots!". - The US Marines and some... JAF soldiers got into the room

"You were late...". - The Colonel replied to them with a calm voice, he kept his personal emotions away.  "A Marine and an officer are wounded, treat 'em".  "Arrest these attackers, we'll bury the dead". - Done giving orders, he went away alone

"Your hands in the air, now!". - As the Colonel got out of the room, those men started targeting us

John raises his hands above immediately, following him are Reimi and I. Since we had attacked the Colonel and his men, we would likely be jailed or something similar to it. However, I hope everything will be alright. I believe in my husband, although he has the fault in this incident.

"Let us have a minute to mourn them, can you...?". - John asked a Marine who was tying him to allow us to have a moment to mourn our deceased comrades

"Fuck that, big guy". - He pressed my husband's head down while tying him from behind

My head is later also pressed to the floor. They are tying us, considering us like criminals.

Now I start wondering how would our fates go in this world... in jail or what?
