New House!

It's been a week since Chen HaoYu had come to this world and through this week. He had learned that people have their own cultivation technique to increase their cultivation levels. There are also spells that have different levels and a rune language for Array Masters and Artificers that they use when creating array formation wether for own use or for artifacts. Summoners are not only suppose to learn some spells but they also should be knowledgeable in rune language as some spells needed to be carved before the summoning technique to be activated, especially for higher summoning spells.

Marksmen are just like your modern day soldiers where they rely on weapon artifacts to fight, though their weapons are more of a primitive style.

Chen HaoYu was strolling through the Eldoria District looking around as he plan to buy a house.

The Eldoria District is not far from his workplace and his parents house. He plan to keep in touch with his family of this world because the way his family supported him was something he hadn't experienced previously except for his grandpa who pampers him.

There were a lot of houses in the district, some shops have also opened here, and there's a public market.

Since it's only been a week, he still doesn't have any money so he plan to borrow money from his parents to buy a house then he would repay them back.

Coming to an area where a lot of empty houses, he saw Li MengYao coming out of one of the houses with another woman in suit.

"I'm pleased with this house and I'd like to buy it!" Li MengYao said.

"Great! Since your happy with this house we can proceed on the paperwork and transfer of funds!" The woman said with a professional smile.

"Can it be done today? I plan to move tomorrow."

"Certainly! As long as the paperwork are signed and funds are transferred. We can have the closing done today!"

"Thanks so much!" Li MengYao said.

"It is our pleasure miss!" The woman said.

Noticing Chen HaoYu, Li MengYao waved her hand, "Good Afternoon, Mr. Chen"

"Afternoon miss Li! Are you buying this house?" Chen HaoYu asked.

"Yeah! I'll just have to pay and I can start living here tomorrow!" Li MengYao said with a smile.

Looking at the other houses next to it that has [For Sale] written hanging on the doors. He pondered about it if he should buy a house or go farther where not much people are, since he plan to become an Artificer and since an Artificer creates artifact then he might disturb other people when he's trying to create because of the noise.

Seeing Chen HaoYu deep in thought and interests on houses, she quickly brought her professional smile and said, "Hello sir! Are you intending to buy a house in this district?"

"Ah! Yes! Yes I am!" Disturb from his thoughts, he replied.

"Then sir are you looking for anything specific?"

"Well something simple but soundproof, I guess if there is..."

"Oh you're also going to buy a house?" Li MengYao asked when she heard that he wanted to buy too.

"Then you came in the right place sir! The houses here have their own soundproofing walls, you won't have to worry about disturbing others!" The woman in suit said.

"The one I bought also has it right?" Li MengYao asked the woman.

"Yes miss!"

"Oh! Then how much is the house next door?" Pointing at the right side of Li MengYao house, Chen HaoYu asked.

"The houses here are ranging from 1,500 to 1,800 Mana Crystal! The house right there is only 1,700 Mana Crystal!"

"Can I go see the inside?"

"Of course sir!" The woman in suit said before going to the house beside Li MengYao house.

"Hey! Can I also follow?" Li MengYao asked with a smile.

"Sure!" He said before they followed the woman in suit to the house.

It was nearing evening after they have checked the house.

"We're going to be neighbors from now on miss Li, I'll be in your care!" Chen HaoYu said with a smile.

"Likewise!" Li MengYao replied with a smile.

They chatted as they strolled the places around the district to familiarize themselves.

An hour later.

Noticing the time in one of the shops, Chen HaoYu said, "Miss Li, would you like to have dinner?"

"Oh? Sure! I saw that there's a nearby noodle shop though it's kind of in an alley..."

"That's fine! Let's go check it out!" He replied as they went to check the noodle shop inside an alley.

The noodle shop was named [The Wandering Dragon Noodle House], faded red lanterns hang above a weathered wooden sign bearing the shop's name in elegant calligraphy. A small window, adorned with intricately carved wooden shutters, offers a glimpse into the cozy interior, where the warm glow of lantern light spills out onto the cobblestone sidewalk.

Opening the wooden door which made a creaking sound, they are greeted by a charming and rustic scene. The interior is bathed in the warm glow of hanging lanterns, casting gentle shadows across the wooden floors and walls.

In the center of the room stands a long wooden counter and mismatched chairs are scattered along the counter with few elders eating slowly. Behind the counter, the kitchen is open, allowing guests to catch a glimpse of Mei Ling as she prepare each dish meticulously.

The air is rich with the aroma of simmering broth and spices, creating an atmosphere of comfort that makes one intoxicated. Despite its humble appearance, there's a sense of age that shows The Wandering Dragon Noodle House has withstood the test of time, inviting guests to step back in time and experience the timeless charm of Chinese cuisine and it's glory!

Seeing customers, Mei Ling welcomed them with a smile, "Welcome! Please let me know what you guys want to have!"

Sitting on one of the chairs, Chen HaoYu asked, "What do you recommend?"

"I recommend our specialty the Dragon's Whisper Noodles!"

"What's special about this?" Li MengYao asked.

"Ah, the Dragon's Whisper Noodles," Mei Ling began explaining with a warm smile. "It's our most cherished dish here at The Wandering Dragon Noodle House. What makes it special? Well, it's all in the broth. Simmered for hours with secret spices and herbs passed down through generations, it's rich, aromatic, and truly unforgettable. Then there's the handmade noodles, cooked to perfection and bathed in the fragrant broth. Topped with tender slices of beef or chicken, fresh vegetables, and a sprinkle of spring onions, each bowl is a symphony of taste and texture, a masterpiece that is created by my ancestors with their own self created cooking technique, that will make you crave for more."

"Woah! A self created technique? I'll try it then!" Chen HaoYu said and just now finding out that you can make your own technique.

"Maybe I can also create other techniques like for cultivation and spells?"

"I'll have that too!" Li MengYao said with a smile.

"Alright! Just wait for a few minutes and I'll have it served!" The 30 or so years old Mei Ling replied before working on the orders.
