I don't really know whether it is a good choice or not but I've never really meddled with what my little sister wanted to do ever since to make her independent.

I'm the type of person who would like things to be organized but never hated it when things go south and everything turns chaotic.

Isn't it kinda bland to live a life that's too predictable?

(Shun's POV)

While we are eating, the older girls engaged in their own conversation while I, Neko, and Inu are busy discussing about the beauty of hamburgs.

No, well, it's just the two who got heated while I myself am just listening and explaining to them the pros and cons of the hamburgs I made.

"Hawuu~! Hamburg-sans are so powerful nodesu! It makes Inu feel blissful with each bite nanodesu!"

For some reason, Inu turns into something like those gourmet food taste testers who rambles on and on about the food they ate whenever she eats a piece of meat dish. Or is it just me?

"Hamburg-sensei, amazilicious!"

"That's not a word you know, Neko?"

"It's not~?"

"It's not."

Seeing them enjoy the food I made, I felt really happy deep inside. Such is the happiness of cooking.

While I am thinking of such things, Kaede-san suddenly brought an important question up.

"Hey, what do you think we should call Inu-chan and Neko-chan? I don't think we should let them remain as nameless, right?"

At Kaede-san's words, Satania-san immediately replied to her.

"Can't we just call them by the nickname Pochi and Tama before thinking up of a proper name for them? I did that to my dog. Hmm… this food is quite okay…"

Hearing her say, quite okay, I narrowed my eyes at her.

"That's bad nanodesu! Neko-oneechan, Satania-oneechan doesn't like the taste of hamburg-san nodesu! We have to save her nanodesu!"

"Satania don't like meat~? It's good you know?"

"W-Well… It's not like that. It's just that it didn't suit my palate…"

Probably to try and divert their attention, Satania-san tried to get the topic back to their nicknames.

Good choice. You'd be stuck in an endless talk about the greatness of hamburgs if you let them continue. It's like a priest preaching about the goodness of the Lord Almighty.

"Don't you guys like the nickname of Pochi and Tama?"

"Yeah, it sounds fine to me."

"H-Hmm. It's good that you understand the goodness of my naming sense, Mutsuko-san!"

Well, it looks like these two are no good when it comes to naming things. Let's not count on them when it comes to naming important things.

"Pochi? It sounds good nanodesu! I want to be Pochi nanodesu!"

"Taaama~?"

Seeing that the two girls are beginning to accept those as their names, I, Rikka-san, and Kaede-san began to panic.

In my panic, I quickly thought up of a good name for them while retaining the 'inu' and 'neko' in their surnames and thinking up of a good name for them.

"Wait you two! Names are important, you know? How about we give you the names Kuroinu Kanami and Shirayukineko Sorashi?"

"What an awesome name nanodesu! It's reaaally long and reaaally… Umm… Amaaazing!"

"It's looong~?"

"Well it's not like you're gonna say them often or anything. We can just call you Pochi and Tama if you like but your real name will be Kuroinu Kanami and Shirayukineko Sorashi. Isn't it great?"

Kaede-san doesn't seem to like giving them such a name that's not given much thought like what Satania-san suggested so she also agreed to me on this.

"Un! Pochi is fine with it nodesu! Teach us how to write our names nanodesu!"

"Kaede-oneechan, teach us~?"

"Of course I'll teach you!"

While Kaede-san, Pochi, and Tama are talking about the latter two's name, Rikka-san heaved a sigh of relief.

"It's great that they didn't accept Pochi and Tama as their real name. I would've felt guilty if they did…"

She then looked at Satania-san with a reproachful glare, probably mad that she so nonchalantly suggested names that are given commonly to dogs and cats in Japan.

"W-What!? Just so you know, I just gave my suggestion and told them clearly that it's a nickname and not a name!"

"I know you, Satania-san. You just thought that it would be fun to see them get slightly mad at being given those names, right?"

Satania-san immediately panicked when Rikka-san said those words to her. Well, based on what I know about her, she certainly is the type of person who would pull pranks because she thought it makes her look 'evil'.

I don't blame her though. If what she says is true and she really is a devil, I think her being so naive and pure like Pochi and Tama make her look cute in her own right.

If I remember correctly, her attempts at being 'evil' and appearing as someone evil often fail miserably.

Our breakfast continued on like that, with Mutsuko-san, Rikka-san, and Satania-san setting the mood while me, Kaede-san, Pochi, and Tama are mostly talking about different dishes that can be cooked using meat as the main ingredient.

In fact, after we all ate our fill, the two beastkin girls seems to still want a piece of meat. Pochi is looking longingly at the now empty plate of hamburg steak while patting her stomach.

"Meat-san, why are you meat nanodesu?" I mean, it's actually quite the philosophical question if you ask me.

"Delish~ is Justice~!"

Once we're done eating our breakfast, we all sat down on the sofas at the living room. We plan on talking in depth about our next course of action but I suddenly remembered that I still haven't distributed my gifts to them.

"Since this looks like a good timing, I'll be giving you guys the gifts that I brought from my home world to you guys. I haven't had a clue as to what you guys would like so I just bought something that I thought would be good."

After saying my piece, I first handed over the VR Gears as promised. I gave Mutsuko-san, Rikka-san, Satania-san, Pochi, and Tama their own VR Gears.

For Mutsuko-san, I gave her the white one, Rikka-san the yellow one, Satania-san the red one, Pochi the sky blue one, and Tama the pink one.

"Since Tama likes pink while Pochi likes blue, I reserved those colors for them. The other colors are divided on the rest since I don't think you guys would mind?"

"It's fine. White is my favorite color, actually."

The first to reply to me was Mutsuko-san, who doesn't seem to mind the color of her VR-Gear at all.

"I don't hate yellow so I'll take it. It matches the color of my [Tyrant's Eye]!"

"Funn, red is a great color so I, Satanichia Kurumizawa McDowell shall reluctantly accept your present!"

While I am speaking to Mutsuko-san, Satania-san, and Rikka-san, Pochi and Tama suddenly tackled me again.

"Thank you nanodesu!"

"Thank you~…"

"Haha, no problem you girls. Right, I also have some other present to you girls. Look, take these pink and blue clothes. Pochi will have those sky blue and blue clothes while Tama will have the pink and red clothes."

"Waaa! So many new fluffy clothes nodesu! Are you sure we can have it nanodesu!? These look ekspensive nanodesuyo?" It's 'expensive' Pochi, not ekspensive.

"Thank you~. Pink is pretty~!"

After handing over the clothes to the excited beastkin duo, I also gave my presents to Kaede-san, three pink hoodies with differing designs from different companies, Gila, Mike, and Aedidas. A cute bat hairclip and a melon pan keychain for Satania-san, a popular Archwizard cosplay costume for Rikka-san, and a book on how to create kunais and shurikens to Mutsuko-san.

Tama seems to be jealous of the pink jackets I gave Kaede-san so I took out two jackets with a sky blue and pink color respectively and gave it to the two beastkin. It's good that I bought these two hoodies according to their estimated heights.

When I was done giving out my gifts, I then moved on to talking about our quest at hand.

"Let's talk about the game we're about to play guys. Does anyone know how to play VR games or games in general?"

"Pochi doesn't know nanodesu!"

"Nyu~? Tama doesn't know~?"

"Alright. Pochi and Tama are complete beginners. What about you four?"

"I play games in order to understand some survival tricks and how to craft items… Does that count as experience?"

I was left speechless for a moment at what Mutsuko-san said but I still answered nonetheless.

"I guess it does?"

"I play games almost everyday!"

"Good… That's one."

I listed Rikka-san on the 'have experience' column under my own name and Mutsuko-san's. On the 'have no experience column, there's Pochi's name which is Kanami, and Tama's name which is Sorashi.

"I, Satanichia the Great Archdemon, never played games before…" You didn't have to sound so proud while saying that, Satania-san.

Satania-san seem like she doesn't care one bit about admitting that she is inexperienced, but I could see that she is slightly shaking. This just meant that it took some courage for her prideful self to admit that she's not good at something.

"I'm not good with games. I only play games because my best friend recommended me to play them…"

I noted what Kaede-san said before focusing on the list in my hands.

"Looks like we're severely lacking in the experience department. I could maybe teach you guys, but I'm only one person…"

If only we have one more person that could maybe show these guys the basics of playing a game. Eh, let's just not bother with telling them what to do.

I'll just let them do what they want and have fun while I go do my best in completing this quest.

"Alright. I've decided. I will take Pochi and Tama with me so that I can show them the ropes while you older girls could go figure out what you want to do by yourselves."

I don't really know whether or not I'll regret doing it like this but I don't really want to impose myself on them and tell them what to do. Besides, I want to see what kind of chaos these guys would create inside the game..
