Chapter 3: Getting first skill

"Now that's enough, if you speak against it anymore, you would be doing blasphemy to the will of light." Zethera spoke reprimanding like mother defending the her child.

All angels who wanted to object my origin of birth was now avoiding to make eye-contact with mother because among the angels, Will of light is highest and most respectable. Ad light has made the best decision that would benefit the angel and other holy races.

Mother carried me to the Circle shaped white golden house which seemed to small from outside but was very spacious from inside.

If I had to guess, this was work of some kind of space based spell. 

Without saying anything in our journey to this house, mother placed me on the sofa looking furniture, but it was much more comfy than any human made sofa.

But I controlled my emotion and didn't shown any expression.

"Son, It's good that you are good at controlling your wild tendencies than your father. but, you have follow the dragon tradition now and spoke your name given to you by dragon bloodline. So, we can proceed with the next things." Mother said.

I didn't knew that there was such thing in my bloodline but my mouth opened on it's own and said, "Genesis Hale." This words was spoken some language seem to carry in pride and dominance inside it. May be it was the Controversial dragon tongue.

Oh! How domineering just as your dragon father.

Now as you couldn't speak normally, I will pass on a skill for talking mind to mind.

Then she placed a finger on my forehead, I instinctively closed my eyes.

Then System notification appeared instead of skill in my mind.

'Ding! Skill has been detected.'

'Choice 1: Learn telepathy skill.'

'Choice 2: Learn telekinesis skill.'

'Choice 3: Unlock the mental power.'

Well, here come the time to make decision again. Well, telepathy can only be used to communicate or some mind domination but it does not have much potential to develop further, and it should be original skill that mother want to pass down to me. Telekinesis is to move things without touching it and its power depend on the mental strength and in case of mental power being absent it will consume the magic power.

As for the mental power, it is bad choice for gaining strength quickly but it have to potential to grow with time. So, if I am not in danger in near future, it is good to choose this.

And analyzing the situation, I am surrounded by the angels who can protect me for some time.I answered, 'I pick choice 3.'

'Ding! Host has unlocked mental power.'

'Ding! Host should check status window.'

"Now, son you should try to connect with me mentally." Mother said.

I tried using my mental power, and a  invisible energy felt leaving my body while latching on to the mother.

'Ding! Mental link has established.'

'Mother, my name is Genesis hale.' I said in the mental link.

Mother had the big the blush on her face after i completed saying my part.

'There is no mother in the angel race, they all are father. And your name seemed to be more after your grandfather than your dragon father. And according to the angelic meanings, You name mean the creation force looking for its purpose. You should call me by the father.' Voice of mother sounded in my mind.

'Okay, father. and now what are we supposed to do. You said before that we will have to continue next things or tradition.' I continued the conversation.

'Now, it is necessary for you to know that we angels and other guardian races are in the tight spot. Demons have now taken control of the central realm and gained dominance in other dimensions as well, and there is no news of dragons who have gone to attack the demon layer including the your dragon father. Now, you have to train quickly as to able to stand your own ground. So, you should go to the growth chamber with books from the library so you can go absorb more knowledge before you go to the different dimensions to get the fighting experience or gather your own allies. But there is still some things you have to do, although that things have to wait until you go get more knowledge.' Father said with sadness evident in his tone revealing shocking things to me one after another.

After absorbing the given information I asked what I want to know the most, "Father, if we are here then did we have our home on the central realm and is this place safe?"

'Son, You are not to be worried for such things, although we have lost our place in the central realm but no demons can invade here for at least 500 years no matter what means they use because this place is covered in the barrier with light. So, I suggest you do all your efforts in getting strong quickly.' mother said.

'Okay mother, but why does angel hate me.' I asked because in my previous life, I may was an introvert but i don't want to be same kind of person in this life anymore.

'You were the exception to code of rules of angle race that what they hate, not you as a person. They will eventually open up to you, because angle can never hurt the feeling of pure people for a long time.' Father replied.

After a moment father said, 'Now I will carry you to the Growth chamber. So, you can be prepared for the future quickly.'

I was excited to know that what this growth chamber because there was only name mentioned in the whole dragon inheritance for only few time and no further information.  So, it must be guarded secret of the angel since even dragons who are allies for several years don't know anything. 

Since my father will carry me I decided to open the status window of system that system keep reminding of now.

'Status window' I said in my mind and made sure that I don't speak it in mental link with father or situation would get messed up.
