Everyone looked at Felicia desperately, screaming inwardly for her to continue.

"What you know about the Capital is not all there is to it. As you all may know, this town was founded 10 years ago so it's quite new to politics. You all are thinking why I am telling you this. But....hear me out. What do you think will happen if the Mix dungeons are not taken care of?"

Kyle pondered for a second, the answer was obvious and someone else said it before him.

"This town will be destroyed," Emilia said.

"Yes....and the level of these dungeons will keep increasing. The capital has monstrous geniuses that are nurtured with high-level dungeons. But these high-level dungeons are not very common."

Kyle didn't like where this was going.

"You mean they want it to become a high-level dungeon?" Kyle asked getting a gasp from Emilia.

"Yes, they are waiting for the outcome to happen naturally. If we were to complete these dungeons, they will casually lose their attention from here. But, if it becomes good enough for them, then will they send people to take care of it and it will be too late then."

"But....but why will they do this?! This is so sick!" Emilia gasped with a pale face. She was too innocent for her own good.

"The world has become an unfair place. The people in power can change the rules all they want and we can't do shit about it." Keitan said while grumbling. He had become talkative from a while back by being actively part of the conversation.

"This is the reason why you were chosen for this job. You all may not know but each one of you can be called a powerhouse in a place like this. The contract of concealment was made just so that, no one among you leaks this information outside. The people will panic too quickly. Now, it has come the time when you make the decision." Felicia said with her eyes closed. She was acting calm but everyone could see her legs shaking.

Emilia came forward and took her hand while saying "This is my town too, so don't worry as I am even willing to die for this place."

Felicia's eyes became red, tears ready to come out anytime but as a professional, she bit her lips and gave Emilia a smile of gratitude.

"Count me in too, I don't particularly have a place to go anyway," Keitan said nonchalantly. Jasper was quiet with his eyes closed so everyone looked at Kyle instead.

"Sigh....this is going to sound a little selfish and I don't really care what you will think of me. I am going to danger my life for this cause so I would expect a good reward from it, to be honest." Kyle said and looked at everyone. Emilia's face turned dark while Keitan was still indifferent. Kyle looked at Jasper who was crazily grinning while looking at him.

"That's not a bad question, Mr.Kyle. It's quite normal for you to ask this as you are not even from this town. When all of you are successful, each will get 20000 gold coins, and a special status that will exempt you from any type of tax in this place."

"Count me in too," Kyle said shamelessly.

"Hmph!" Emilia snorted at Kyle who chuckled in response.

"If he's going then I will too," Jasper said while looking at Kyle creeping him out.

' I'm not into men, you bastard!' Kyle screamed inwardly.

"Sigh...thank goodness." She finally fell to the ground with tears coming out of her eyes.

"T-This place *sobs* is too important for me. I will give my whole life to this place if given a chance. Thank you, to all of you...." Felicia said and controlled her emotions. A dazzling smile bloomed on her face.

"You should keep smiling, it looks good," Kyle said making Felicia blush from the suddenness.

"You keep showing your shamelessness again and again." Emilia had completely changed her attitude toward Kyle.

"Shut up, the adults are talking, you brat," Kyle said while snorting. A vein bulged in Emilia's head. Felicia looked at the situation and tried to change the topic.

"Okay, so if everyone has agreed, take these directions and leave tomorrow as the situation is getting worse every second." She said while handing the map to Kyle.

"Oh, by the way, the guild leader is level 8 from what I know. Will he join us?" Emilia asked at last.

"Uh....about that, The guild leader has already resigned and gone to the capital for safety." She said while reverting her face.

Kyle became shocked by the response. But in the end, he could only say "You really love this town, don't you?"

Felicia only nodded while smiling, she could have escaped from this town but refrained. Truly a responsible woman in her 20s. Kyle couldn't help but feel some likeness developing toward her.

They all went out of the room together and stopped at the guild's main hall.

"So, I have some unfinished work to do. We can all meet at the town's main gate tomorrow morning. We will discuss about our strengths while traveling which will take 9 hours so we have all the time we want. Until then, goodbye."

Kyle said and went away, everyone went their own ways for a day. Kyle had to take his sword from Borris.

He was very excited about it as its specification was very good. He ran to the workshop and opened the gate quickly. Before even getting treated by the worker, he briskly walked to where Borris was working.

He opened the gate with strength not wanting to wait any longer.

There, he saw that Borris was still concentrating, he did not even know that Kyle was there.

Borris was rubbing a cloth on a shiny blue weapon. Kyle's eyes got stuck looking at the thing in his hand, and before he knew it, he had already walked there with his touching the blade
