"Don't look at me like that." Liam said, cutting off Oliver's imagination.
"Like... what?" Oliver whispered.
"Like you want me." Liam replied with an intense gaze.
'What if I want you?' Oliver said in his head, too scared to say the actual words out loud.
The two boys continued to look at each other for a long time. This time, none of them made any effort to look away. Until Oliver noticed how Liam's eyes fell on his lips.
"Aren't you... weirded out by all this?" Oliver asked, causing Liam to look up at his face.
"Do you want me to be honest?" Liam asked while using his fingers to comb through Oliver's curly hair.
"Hmm." The latter closed his eyes, appreciating Liam's fingers caressing his hair.
"Since you want me to be honest, I'll tell you this. I feel weird. This whole thing feels new to me. But for tonight, I just want to let my heart lead me."
