Beauty in you

There are so many people, they are all having fun. I do as well. Never thought that on my 18 birthday i'll have party like this. It makes me so happy. Yes it's my birthday. Usually when us werewolves get to 18 we start looking for our soulmate and that's why i am so happy that this day has come. But there so many people in this room and none of them attract my attention. My dad said when i find my soulmate i will know. They have a smell that it can get you addicted to and apparently you are the only that can smell it. Both my parents told me so much about soulmates that now when i finally got to the age of it I'm really excited. It's just where is he? He isn't in here...not in this room....but i shouldn't let myself get sad he might be just from a different place.

The doors suddenly open it made everyone in the room stop dancing. It got the attention of my mom and dad mine as well. We walked closer to the door only to see a old lady. She looked she was about to die on the spot. " I'm sorry for disturbing everyone but i need some food and somewhere to stay the night..." she said. I moved closer wanting to help the woman to get up from the ground but i am stopped by my father. My mom started talking " I don't think that's possible. You look like you could die any second now and i do not want a old and crusty woman to be found dead in my house!". I look at her in shock the woman just needs some help. I get out of my dads grasp, starting to walk closer to the old woman.

Before i even got close enough to help her up she started to murmur some words. The the lights in the room started breaking till only the light of the moon was in the room. The Windows started breaking as well, everyone started to scream out of panic. The Old woman gets up pointing her finger at my mother."You are being disrespectful. That's what you say when someone asks for your help!!!" Wind starts to go around the room making everything impossible to see." Just for this selfish act if yours you will now be cursed. The most precious thing to you will now be gone. It will now be taken away from you. Say goodbye to it will you can, because from tomorrow you will no longer see it the same way!"

The wind stopped and everything was the same as it was before the woman came in, everyone was shocked up by it yet happy it was over." Well everyone as you see it was nothing big, please enjoy the party soon the birthday cake for out birthday girl will be here!" My Father announced. "Father, Mother we shouldn't ignore what the old woman has said."I tried getting their attention on it. It could be something really serious. But they ignored it, i decided to relax and get my attention on other stuff. As the time passed on at the party i had so much fun i forgot the the old woman and the curse.

I woke up in the morning feeling more tired than usual. I got up wanting to brush my teeth as i always do.. but when i looked in the mirror i looked so more not me. I screamed i was terrified this person in the mirror dosen't look like me. But it is me...my door room opens with my parents coming through it. They come into the bathroom only to see me...a monster. I looked devastating. My face got so many bruises, it looks dirty and my hair changed colors. My body look deformed. This is not me." Who are you and what did you do to my daughter!?!" My mother asks looking angry at me. " i am her! I am your daughter!" I say as tears start to go down my face." You aren't my daughter! My daughter is beautiful and looks like a angel! You look like a monster!!!" she says.

I started crying more and more. "Where is my daughter what did you do to her you demon?!" My father asks."it's me i swear.." i said between my sobs. I never thought that my own parents wouldn't believe me i a telling the truth. "STOP LYING!" Father says as he grabs me by hair starting to drag me outside my room.He pushes me on the ground. I was crying more and more. My own father has hurt me...

"Leave my home you demon! You shouldn't be here!!" Father says. I started running outside our house getting looks from the workers there. But i did not look back.

If i stayed there my own father and mother would have treated me badly and even killed me maybe. I just didn't look back and kept running faster and faster. Until i was sure i was far enough. I kept walking, my legs were starting to give up. Finally i see a cottage "This should be good for some night" i think i say i go in. It wasn't pleasant in it and it was cold since it was night. But for a little while it was good enough. I saw a little bed and i lay down on it. I felt exhausted...

I finally close my eyes right before i was about to fall asleep i hear a voice it's the old woman. I couldn't move but she was talking with me. No she was singing.

"Oh my dear I'm sorry to see you like this, i never thought that this curse would effect you out of everything in this world. But to make up for it I'm giving a chance to break this curse that i put you in. find your soulmate and make him love you for who you are." she said right before i finally close my eyes finally falling asleep.

And that's how it's been. I was looking for my soul mate every day. I was hunting for food and i kept doing that for 2 years long. Everyday looking for soul mate that's all i had in mind. I didn't just want to break the curse but i also needed my soul mates warmth. I heard so much about them from my parents so when i will finally find mine, maybe than i will feel better. And in the end this curse will hopefully end soon.
