Chapter 24: No, Hardy, No!

Miracles's Pov

I exhaled shakily and closed my eyes momentarily to stop my out of control heart, when I opened my eyes again Hardy was standing there, holding his backpack.

His eyes held a hint of curiosity, like I was something he couldn't figure out.

"What?" I asked him feeling defensive.

"You amaze me…you fucking amaze me. Too bad I have to stay away from you"

It was all he said before he walked away leaving me sitting there and staring after his disappearing figure.

I smiled, taking the compliment that was given freely.

I guess I am amazing, aren't I, Hardy? Someone should tell Stevie that?

I carried my backpack and got down from the bus.

Ramsey was waiting for me when I got down.

He had this smirk I wanted to wipe off his face with my fist and a face that got uglier by the second because of his nasty attitude.

"You got backbone, weepy. I thought for sure you would narc on me. Bravo"
