Ran Away

At that moment he knew that Hao Shen was blaming him.

And why won't Hao Shen blame him?, he had made Hao Shen fall for him but when Hao Shen told him how he felt he disappeared.

He didn't pick him up at home neither did he bug him in school during lunch break.

Hao Shen must have thought that Feng Qi had rejected him and then told everyone that he was gay.

All this was his fault, but what could he have done? Could he have not ran after Hao Shen back then in other to keep the letter?, but he didn't know about the letter back then. Or could he have not eaten the chocolate in front of his uncle inorder to meet Hao Shen before they went to school?, but he didn't know that a little bit of chocolate he ate would cause him to have a running stomach.

Truth is, there was nothing he would have done back then to change this situation. The only way was for him to explain himself and hope that Hao Shen would believe him.

When Feng Qi finally came to a decision and wanted to explain things clearly to Hao Shen, he found out that he was in a daze for too long and Hao Shen was already long gone.

He could have just gone straight to Hao Shen's house and explained himself but he stopped himself, he believed that right now Hao Shen was angry at him and showing up in front of him again would agitate him further, he decided to leave him be for a while just so His anger would subside.

That way when he comes to explain himself, Hao Shen would calmly listen to him. Thinking this, he went home, still worried for Hao Shen.

Hao Shen went back home and went straight to his room, he removed his backpack and put it on his study table then plopped down on his bed.

Hao Shen had not expected to be able to see Feng Qi at the end of the day, he honestly wished he hadn't seen him at all.

When he left Feng Qi, he had been hoping that Feng Qi would stop him and tell him that he wasn't the one who spread the content of his letter.

But all Feng Qi did was to stand there and look pretty. He didn't even say a word to him.

Hao Shen honestly wanted to know if they could still be friends but from Feng Qi's silence he guessed not.

Hao Shen wanted to cry but he didn't have the energy to, He felt that all their years of friendship had been wasted and it was all his fault.

Hao Shen was starting to hate himself, if only he was a little normal would Feng Qi had loved him back.

More and more dark thoughts grew as Hao Shen laid there. He remembered everytime he was with Feng Qi and how happy he felt.

Hao Shen realized he couldn't be able to live without that happiness.

He won't be able to take it if he saw Feng Qi everyday but can't talk to him like they use to.

Hao Shen got so emotional, he felt that if Feng Qi didn't want to talk to him anymore and didn't want to be friends with him anymore, he shouldn't be hear anymore, he had to leave.

With that thought in mind he stood up from his bed, took his backpack, opened it removed a few books from it, then shoved in a bunch of things in his bag without even checking it and left the house.

Hao Mai Yan came home early, she was a bit worried, Hao Shen would normally call her on their home line to ask her what to cook for dinner. But today he didn't call showing that something was wrong.

Hao Mai Yan opened the front door and walked in, she looked around the sitting room but didn't see her son, she assumed he would be in his room so she just went to the dining.

She put down the box she was holding on the table and opened it, it was a chocolate cake. Hao Mai Yan had made the cake for Hao Shen's birthday, but she had forgotten it back at the restaurant so she brought it today.

After removing the Cake from the box, Hao Mai Yan took it to the refrigerator.

Then she went to prepare dinner for both of them. Hao Mai Yan was beginning to find it strange that Hao Shen hadn't come out of his room, she knew she had made a lot of noise while cooking. Hao Shen must have heard her but why did he refuse to come see her.

Hao Mai Yan finished preparing dinner then went to Hao Shen's room, she didn't bother knocking and just went in.

Hao Shen's room was messy, his books were scattered on his bed, his closet was open and a few of his clothes were sprawled on the ground but Hao Shen wasn't in his room.

Hao Mai Yan was shocked, though it didn't show on her face. This was the first time she saw Hao Shen's room messy.

Hao Shen would always keep his things well and would never leave his room in this state, Hao Mai Yan was starting to get scared.

She went inside the room then open the door to the washroom to check if Hao Shen was there, but he wasn't.

This was starting to freak her out, she went to her room and every other room but their was not a shadow of her son.

She began to panic, frantically she reached for her phone and called the police to report a missing person.

She was asked.

"how long has he been missing?".

"I don't know, I was sure he went to school today but when I came back he wasn't home".

"Have you asked his friends if he was with them?".

"Not yet".

"Then ma'am please confirm from his friends, classmates and teachers before contacting us again, thank you", Then the call ended.

Hao Mai Yan could only think of a single person and that was Feng Qi, she sincerely hoped that her baby was with him, she really didn't know what to do if her son was really missing or worst kidnapped.

She took a few dip breaths to calm her nerves, she didn't know where Feng Qi lived neither does she has his contact info, the only person she could call at the moment was the school director.

She called him a few times before he answered the call "hello please who is this" their was a ting of irritation in his voice as he answered while thinking who would be bothering him in his free time.

"It's Miss Hao, Hao Shen's mom" Hao Mai Yan replayed without minding the rudeness.

"Oh Miss Hao, how may I help you" he replied with a bit more respect while talking, after all everyone know that Miss Hao owns the largest and most popular BBQ restaurant in city X, he couldn't afford to make any mistakes while talking to her.

"Do you have Feng Qi's contact number, if you don't then see if you can send me his parents contact".

The director was shocked, he had heard of the commotion that happened on the school forum and with Hao Shen's mother asking for Fing Qi's parents contact, could she be planning to force Feng Qi to have a relationship with her son.

But the Feng's are also a rich and powerful family, would she be able to force them to give up their son. But what if the rumors were true and Hao Mai Yan and her son was connected to the Hao family from city A, won't both families clash.

While the director was creating such a dog blood drama in his head, he quickly searched for Feng Qi's parents contact and when he did, he sent it via text message.

Hao Mai Yan called the number she was given and it was answered the moment it rang "This is Hao Shen's mom I'm I speaking with Feng Qi's parents" she said.

A feminine voice answered "yes this is Feng Qi's Mom what can I help you with".

"Do you know if my son came to your house".

"No, my son didn't have any visitors today".

"Can I speak with your son"

"Sure, why not" Mrs Feng called Feng Qi and handed him her phone without saying anything.

Feng Qi answered the call with a bit of hesitation in his voice not knowing who it was "Hello".

"Have you seen Hao Shen today" Hao Mai Yan asked with her voice a little shaky. When Mrs Feng said that her son wasn't at her place, she felt like her heart which had been hanging at her throat finally sunk into a dip well.

If her son wasn't with Feng Qi then, where would he be.
