Chapter 14

~ Evelyn De'luca's pov.

“Why the hell is this campus such a giant ass?” I grumbled.

“We have a joint college and school campus,” Aaron replies.

“You gotta be fucking kidding me?” I snapped, rolling my eyes.

Deep down I was well aware of the stare and whispers around us. Students staring and chatting. I caught a few comments too. stating maybe I’m one of the new toys of DeLuca.

Jeez, can’t you see I’m two leg walking and living and breathing human.

I still kept my cold facade on, my fist clenched and my nail digging in my palms.

Angelina glared at a few as she walked with me. She was confident in her steps. Hell, she is always that way.

She was lightly bickering with Damien every now and then. Only they both know about the bullying in my old school.

Angelina because she was forced to attend and look out for my pathetic self-making fool.

Damien knows because when that fucker looks me in eyes and asked what’s wrong, I was spilling my guts out.
