"He is alone. There is no one else like him anymore." Eleanor said.
Beatrix Sprin raised her head at those words, lips parting open. She realized that she meant that the entire Vampire race was nearly extinct but frowned.
"There is a reason why they must have been extinguished." Beatrix Sprin held one dagger in hand and the Instant Teleport Scroll in the other. "And so it means that he should be gone too."
"You are not a fit judge for any of this, Miss Sprin."
"Doesn't matter. Goodbye, Your Highness—" Beatrix Sprin was about to unfurl the scroll when a presence suddenly appeared behind her.
Cassius Blackwell grabbed for Beatrix' wrist and sighed softly.
"Leaving so soon?" he asked. "We haven't been even able to talk that much. Such a shame, Miss Sprin. Why don't you drop it?"
Beatrix wanted to resist and yet her fingers loosened and the scroll dropped at her feet, landing on the floor.
