ALAYAH TOOK AARON TO GROCERY STORE

AT AARON'S HOUSE (NEXT MORNING):

Aaron walked towards the kitchen, and poured some juice into a glass, he was about to drink it when his phone rang, "Yes Mrs. George?" he asked.

"I have arranged a meeting for you at home, as you didn't feel like coming to the office today", Mrs. George informed.

"Thank you, I will wait", Aaron said and disconnected the call.

Alayah entered the kitchen and was shocked to see Aaron at home, "You did not go to work", she asked in a frank tone.

"I just accepted that working in the company is gloomy and you said that my house is spacious, so I decided to work from home for today", Aaron said.

"That's a good idea", Alayah said and put her phone and bag aside and started opening a drawer, took the apron out, and started wearing it, Aaron sat on one of the countertop chairs.

"Mr. Aaron?" she called, instead of saying yes, Aaron just looked at her.

"Won't you go to your room? I mean, will you keep on sitting here?" Alayah asked.

"Yes, I want to see how you make the dishes so delicious", Aaron said in a teasing tone.

"But I don't share my food secrets with anyone, and you might feel bored while watching me", Alayah said.

"There are programs where the chefs make the food and people watch them for hours, so it will be fine to watch you too", Aaron said.

"Alright then, let's see what is written on the menu", Alayah said and took the menu.

"I can't make it", she said.

"But why? I didn't write that I want a duck soup with noodles in it, what is difficult in making a wedge salad with elegant blue cheese dressing on it?" Aaron asked.

"For your kind information, I can cook the duck soup with noodles, and can't cook it, because this kitchen and the shopping are your responsibility, if it were my kitchen, you would never see any ingredient which was missing, so being a boss, before writing that you want to eat this you need to check if the ingredients are there or not", Alayah said.

"In short, you want to say that we don't have ingredients to make this salad", Aaron said.

"Yes, but I know you will never ever change the menu, so on this sunny day I have to go and get the veggies and other stuff", she said.

"Yes you should", Aaron teased her.

"Of course, I have to, just because you are the boss and I am just your worker so yes on such a sunny day I have to go", she said.

"Let me take you there", Aaron said.

"No, my dear boss, how could you leave this air-conditional house, the member of the boss class don't go outside, you have to walk and the sunstroke might kill you, so please I want you to stay at home", Alayah said.

"I am waiting for you outside, we will come back in an hour", he said.

AT THE MARKET:

Aaron stopped the car, "Alayah I am waiting for you, go and get the things you want", he said.

"Alone? How could I, I mean I am the size of a watermelon, how could I hold them alone, oh I wish Walter were here, he helped me a lot", Alayah said.

"Alright, alright I am coming", he said and they entered an open market. There were a number of fresh vegetables and fruits, the shopkeeper saw her and said, "I was just waiting for you", the shopkeeper said and Aaron remained shocked.

"Taste these grapes, and see how organic they are", the shopkeeper said and gave some grapes to Alayah, she immediately took them and started eating them. He also tried to give the grapes to Aaron, "No I am good", Aaron replied.

"Where is Walter?" the shopkeeper asked.

"He was not available, he is my boss", Alayah said and picked a watermelon, smell it, and asked the shopkeeper to pack it.

"Take it gentleman", the shopkeeper said and handed over the watermelon to Aaron, then a melon, and some apples, Alayah was just eating the grapes and was smelling the fruits to see whether they are fresh or not, "Pack these pineapples too", she said and the shopkeeper gave them to Aaron, in both hands Aaron was holding the bags.

"Alayah, let's go home, it's been an hour, and why did not you go to a store, why you came here", Aaron said.

"In that stores, the vegetables and fruits are tasteless and dry, and here as you can see everything is fresh", Alayah said.

"We harvest fresh vegetables daily, our veggies are far better than the ones you get from the store", the shopkeeper said, "Alayah, your boss is very bulky, you should come with him instead of Walter", the shopkeeper made fun of him.

Once the shopping was completed, Aaron took the bags in the car and drove home.

AT AARON'S HOUSE:

Mrs. George and Erik were sitting in outside couches when they saw Alayah who was holding a small pack filled with grapes, she was eating them, and Aaron was following her while holding a lot of bags full of fruits and vegetables.

"I can't believe, why she took Mr. Aaron", Mrs. George got shocked.

"Ha-ha, I just feel as if my friend is behaving like a husband", Erik said to Mrs. George.

"Mrs. George, ask Walter or anyone to go and get the pomegranate syrup from Alayah's house", Aaron said and entered the kitchen.

"Did he just say pomegranate syrup?" Mrs. George asked, it was something weird to hear such a thing from Aaron, as he was a businessman so talking like this did not suit his personality.

"Yes you heard it like, my friend asked for pomegranate syrup", Erik repeated.

"Thank you Mr. Aaron", Alayah said.

"You are welcome", Aaron said and left the kitchen and walked towards Mrs. George and Erik, "Any update regarding the document?" he asked. And looked at Erik who was trying to control his smile.

"What?" Aaron asked, and looked at Mrs. George who was also smiling.

"Why you guys are behaving like this?" he got irritated.

"Nothing brother, you just looked so handsome while holding the bags of fruits and vegetables, you fulfilled all the requirements of a perfect husband, Mrs. George I think we should start finding a perfect wife for Aaron", Erik said it a teasing tone.

"What? Why? I just…" Aaron tried to say but was soon interrupted by Erik.

"There is no need to explain, I know everything", Erik said with a smile.

"Unfortunately yes", Aaron smiled.
