ALAYAH RESIGNED!

"I just heard you were talking to your friend about last night, believe me, I was drunk and…", Alayah said.

"Hold on! We did not sleep with each other last night", Aaron said.

"We did not? What? I mean then?" Alayah asked, "but I remembered that you carried me to the bed", she added.

"Yes you are right, I did carry you to bed, but I slept in the living room, don't you remember that you felt pain in your stomach and went towards the bathroom, and left the door opened", Aaron said.

"Oh, I just remembered, I felt pain, basically when I got angry, I feel nauseous, and the same happened last night, and then I don't know how the shower turned on and I got wet, I was feeling very lazy and tried and just laid there", she said.

Aaron was looking at her and listening to her very carefully, "wait something is missing, what made me feel angry?" she asked and soon remembered what Aaron was saying to her last night.

"Shameless! You are a rascal! You made such an offer! Who are you, and why do you even think about me in that way?

"I am not firing you, but sorry I am not the rich husband that you are looking for", Aaron replied.

"Rich husband?" Alayah asked and Aaron left the room.

"What do you mean by rich husband? Am I looking for a rich husband? Alayah kept on saying but Aaron didn't reply.

"You, you, you scoundrel! What do you think about yourself? A king of this trash!" Alayah yelled.

"You can leave if you are done!" Aaron said.

"I resign", she said while weeping and left the house.

Aaron called Mrs. George and asked her to arrange a new cook and cleaner. Then, he made his way to his room, he turned to look at the bed and realized that everything that had happened the previous night was still fresh in his mind. Ms. Flora, a woman in her seventies who had been their family chef, was the person he called. She was the only woman available at the moment who could assist Aaron, so he contacted her, and she changed Alayah's wet dress.

AT AARON'S OFFICE:

Aaron, Erik, Della, and Henry were sitting together and discussing the Japanese event.

"Aaron! I just didn't like Mrs. Hiroshi, I mean she knew nothing but Japanese, I tried to talk to her but she even wanted me to speak Japanese", Della said.

"Yes, they went with me for coffee and Alayah entertained her, and she was very happy because Alayah was talking to her in Japanese", Aaron said.

"I am impressed by Alayah", Della said.

"Anyways did anyone see Denzel?" Erik asked.

"I saw him at the event he came and left ", Aaron said.

"My brother is like that, I want him to join the company but he is so careless", Henry said.

"Aaron please call him he will not answer if I call", Della said.

"Yes, because he is in the artist's mood, and in that mood, he just locks himself in the house, call him!" Henry said.

"Okay, let me", Aaron said and dialed Aaron's number.

"Hey, what is up?" Aaron asked.

"Nothing much", how are you doing?" Denzel asked.

"I am fine, your brother is fine, your brother's wife is fine, your brother's wife's child is fine too. Tell me about you", Aaron asked.

"Ah I am great", Denzel replied.

"Okay, let's meet tonight, we have to discuss something about the annual meeting", Aaron said.

"Ask Henry to attend the meeting, he knows that I am busy, didn't he tell you?" Aaron asked.

"Busy?" Aaron asked.

"Yes! I have got plans, I met a girl a few days ago, I will be with her tonight, I hope so because she does not know this yet", Denzel said.

"A girl? Who is she?" Aaron asked.

"I know nothing about her, I just saw and she was fascinating, I think I will fall in love", Denzel said.

"Again? What about Rossie? Well, your brother is very happy for you", Aaron laughed.

"I am aware that you people are making fun of me, but believe me she is different, I mean she is amusing and… serious as well can you believe it? It's going to be the love of the century", Denzel said.

"Good luck then", Aaron said, Denzel disconnected the call and dialed Alayah's number.

Alayah saw Denzel's name on her screen and showed it to Elin.

"Take the call, girl; you're in luck! Wonderful, one is leaving and one is coming", Elin said with excitement.

"Hello Denzel", Alayah said.

"Hey Alayah, I just wanted to ask if you were free since I have few things for the animals and I would like you to come along, I have a quilt, a blanket, some used pillows, and so on", Denzel said.

"Sure, fine", Alayah said.

"Fantastic, see you", Denzel said and disconnected the call.

AT AARON'S OFFICE:

Aaron was trying to concentrate but all he could remember was Alayah's weeping face. He called Mrs. George and said, "Mrs. George I want Ms. Alayah's phone number".

"Sure, I will send you", Mrs. George said, he typed a message to Alayah soon after he got her number.

Alayah looked at the message,

"Ms. Alayah I apologize if I said anything inappropriate last night. (Aaron Lincoln)"

"If? Like seriously", Alayah said and left.

AT ANIMALS' SHELTER:

Alayah sent Denzel the address of that shelter and he was waiting for her.

"Hey, finally you are here", Denzel said.

"Yes, let's go inside, we need to change clothes in order to enter", Alayah said and went inside, Denzel followed him, Alayah wore a red colored dungaree and the color of Denzel's dungaree was black, "It suits you", Alayah said to Denzel.

They entered in animals' cage, and Alayah started putting the pillows in front of them and some dogs used to sit on them while others used to ignore that, and she event covered the animals with blankets that Denzel brought, the staff member gave them broom, scrub brush, bucket, rubber gloves, mop, trash cans, and a whole cleaning tools kit.

"Why did they give it to us?" Denzel asked.

"Ha-ha, because we need to clean the cage, that is why we are here", Alayah said and took a broom, and Denzel did the same.

After cleaning they gave food to the animals. It was 5 pm and they were tired so they decided to leave.

"I will drop you", Denzel said while sitting in the car.

"Sure", Alayah said, and he started driving the car.

"You really talk to dogs", Denzel said.

"Come on! I am just willing to talk with them, you know why I like dogs? Because their eyes speak", Alayah said.

"I am impressed, I worked hard, admit it", Denzel said.

"Ha-ha, let me tell you one thing, when the staff member gave you the broom and then he shut the cage's door I predicted that you will run away, but you are skillful, I didn't expect that from you", Alayah said.

"What do you mean by that?" Denzel asked.

"You don't appear to be a man who holds a broom in his hands", Alayah said.

"Well, you don't know 'the exact me', if you are free, shall we go somewhere else? I mean we didn't talk so…", Denzel asked.

"Fine", Alayah said.

Soon they reached a park nearby and started walking.

"So, Ms. Alayah what do you except waitressing?" Denzel asked.

"I occasionally work as a waitress to get additional money; besides I am learning Japanese and their cuisine, what about you?" Alayah asked.

"I make music", Denzel asked.

"What do you do for a living? I mean what do you want to be when you grow up?", Alayah asked.

"Well, I don't know, I am not good at work", Alayah said.

"Work? What do you do?" I mean I am asking about your job", Denzel said.

"Guess it", Alayah said.

"Vet?" Denzel guessed.

"Ha-ha, just because I visit an animal shelter it doesn't mean I am a vet", Alayah said.

"A teacher? Yes, you might be a teacher, you explain things very well" Denzel guessed again.

"No, not that", Alayah replied.

"Doctor?" Denzel said.

Oh, come on, if I saw blood, I would die", Alayah said and took a deep breath, she took Denzel's hand and ran towards the right side with him.

"Hey, what happened where are we going?" Denzel asked.

"Come on, I am called by the food's smell", she replied and stopped near a food stall.

The man was preparing grilled chicken sandwiches, "we want two sandwiches", Denzel said.

"Sure sir", the man replied.

"Let me taste the spices", Alayah said and dipped her finger in sauce to taste it, and the taste was so good that she closed her eyes, "the spices are perfect but add some extra pepper in my sandwich, and add chopped thyme, and squeeze a bit of lemon", she said.

"Okay ma'am I got it", the man replied.

"Wow, it seems like you are an expert in preparing grilled sandwiches", Denzel said to Alayah, "I will get the same as her", Denzel said to the man.

"Okay sir," the man answered, and he got a bowl and added salt, mayonnaise, sauce, additional pepper, a little lemon juice, and thyme. He then spread butter on the bread's outer layer, to which Alayah replied, "Hey, apply butter inside too; it will boost the taste."

The man said, "Sure, ma'am," and then he spread butter on the bread, added lettuce and filling, and covered it with the bread to make a sandwich. He then put the sandwich on the grill.

Alayah and Denzel sat at a table nearby and started eating their sandwiches.
