Does it come with it?

"P-Please, please, please!"

"Apologize", he demanded.

"I'm sorry for interrupting you-"

"You fool. Not me, to her", he clarified with barely restrained impatience.

"If I do, will you stop the poli- Aaaaarrrrgghh!!" He sobbed as the pain from his arm being further twisted brought him to his knees. He looked to the woman while choking on his sobs, "I'm sorry, I'm so- I'm sorry for harassing you! It won't happen again!"

Still taken aback by the situation, she gave a curt nod and the man was relieved from the pain only for a team of four men in Black suits to come over and carry him out of the bar.

"Wait! Who are you?!" He shrieked in panic as he was carried away. "Let me go! Let go!"

"Are you okay, Miss?" The hotel bar manager came over quickly.

"What are your policies on protecting your customers? You watched as she got hurt", he scolded the manager coldly.

Was she hurt? But she was not the one crying just now!! She shifted in her seat, unsure of what to do with the warmth she felt at the moment.

"I am so sorry", they had no excuse. He thought she was just a pretty girl playing hard to get. But of course, he could not voice this out. "Please, if there's anything we can do for you."

Both men's gazes turned to her. She fell in thought. All she wanted was a peaceful night, no complications. "Nothing, just leave me alone."

"Then, whatever you order, will be on the house. Please allow that at least", he pleaded, growing uncomfortable by the other man's cold gaze.

"Sure", she nodded.

He visibly looked relieved before he excused himself. Sensing a stare, she looked at her knight in shining armor. His cold gray orbs softened when they locked with her hazel brown ones.

"Um", Kareena was taken by his out of this world good looks.

He had to be the most beautiful man she had ever seen. He was very tall, with her heels on, even if she stood, she guessed the top of her head would barely glaze his chin.

He wore a suit perfectly tailored for his muscular frame, his short black hair was neatly combed back with a strand falling by one of his nicely shaped brows. He had a sharp jawline, a proud straight nose, and his gray eyes looked like they could see through your soul, so intense they were like a black hole pulling her in...

"Thank you", she added, realizing she had been staring for too long.

He pursed his lips and furrowed his brows as though in thought before he spoke again, "Why don't you join me before another one comes to disturb you?"

She frowned then narrowed her eyes at him suspiciously. She could sit by herself just fine, and she was sure the hotel would not allow anything to happen to her at this point. "Is this your way of making a move on me?"

He smirked, amused as he bridged the distance between them. "Does it come with it?"

"What?"

He bent over, leaning forward so there was inches of space between their faces as his gaze held hers. "Does being this foolishly arrogant, thinking every man wants you, come with being this extremely beautiful?"

Kareena felt her face grow hot, her cheeks and ears turning red. A few words from him and she was blushing! Wait, was he insulting her or complimenting her? Despite her blush, she glared, "Excuse me?"

He exhaled through his nose, his warm breath fanning her face before he murmured softly, "I'm just worried about you. Come over if you feel comfortable."

With that, he walked back to his booth and sat down. She would have sat alone, but something sent her on her feet and into his booth. She could not say what or why.

He was seated in the middle, a sea of expensive bottles occupying the middle of his table. He gestured at the spot beside him. She looked at him suspiciously with narrowed eyes but his challenging gaze reminded her of his earlier words: 'foolishly arrogant'.

She was anything but that. Wanting to prove him wrong, she occupied the spot he pointed at. An annoying feeling bloomed in the pit of her stomach, why did it feel like she had just been tricked?

She stole a glance at the man who was focused on sipping his drink and her train of thought derailed. How could there exist a man whose side profile was as perfect as his frontal? Sensing a stare, he looked back at her. Her heart jumped at his intense grays and she averted her gaze.

"Those were not the police", she started casually, sipping her drink. His presence was starting to bother her, she was very aware of his every movement. She snuck another glance at him unable to help herself.

"Mm." Meeting her gaze, he gave an honest response. "They're my men."

"What will happen to him?" She asked, there was no hint of worry in her tone. But, she wanted no complications attached to her as she would soon leave this foreign country.

"A night or two in jail should do him some good", he replied. Whether it would really be two nights would depend on his mood. For some reason, he took the offense quite personal.

He loosened his tie and relaxed in his seat. His every move being followed by her hazel brown orbs. He smelled so good, a woodsy, clean yet expensive scent permeated from him, assaulting her nostrils. Why did she move to sit with him in the first place?

"You're not from here", he pointed out. "Probably from Country A."

She averted her gaze and silently acknowledged his observation then pointed out hers. "Neither are you. But I can't tell from where." He had a subtle accent, it was nothing compared to the people there.

"Actually, I'm from Country A as well", his lips curved up seeing her brows rise in shock. "I'm being honest. So, what brings you here? Touring or work?" He probed. Her lips only curved up before she sipped on her wine, not giving him a response. "Not telling?"

"It's best if you don't know a thing about me", she replied, seriously.

"How mysterious", he nodded, looking amused. "Can I at least get your name? But of course, you don't have to tell me in case you think I'm hitting on you."

"I'm not as arrogant as you think I am Mister", she countered, annoyed.

"Yves, not mister. And, 'not as arrogant', so there must be some degree of arrogance in there."

"Is there seriously no blind spot where I can knock you out?" she looked around as she spoke, annoyance on her face.

Yves broke into a laugh, feeling amused by her 'little' threat as he rested his elbow on the table, his index finger rubbing his bottom lip as he watched her. Glaring, she took a sip of her drink. The sweetness of the substance visibly erased the sour expression she had on.

"Is it that good?" He grew curious at the contented expression she had on.

"Yes, or I could be biased", she took another sip and subconsciously stretched her lips in a gorgeous smile. "Definitely biased. I have a weak spot for anything from Country F."

"Is it?" His lips curved up as his eyes shone in amusement and something she missed. "Can I taste it?"

"Help yourself. I think-" She, who was in the middle of pointing at the bottle on the table, froze when something soft landed on her lips.
