Chapter 6 My Father

　　Caitlyn's POV

　　Jayce leaned wearily against the wall, one hand clutching his chest as he struggled to catch his breath.

　　"Jayce! Do you know what you're doing?" My father, Pantheon, snapped in a chilling and stentorian voice.

　　"You should ask your daughter what she did!"

　　"I never had sex with Caitlyn, but she cheated on me, and now she's pregnant with someone else's child! She tricked you all!"

　　Jayce looked at me and yelled and tried to prove his innocence.

　　I turned my head around to face my father who now stood upright before me. Age had etched its marks on his face, but in that moment, his eyes blazed with anger and determination.

　　"Father!" I called out, realizing that the man standing there was none other than my own father, Pantheon. He must have discovered the pregnancy test I had discarded in the trash.
