Chapter 25 Bard Wakes Up

　　Caitlyn's POV

　　After that incident, it was as if Talon and I had become strangers; we didn't contact each other for several days.

　　People all stopped discussing Talon and me, and time passed without everyone even realizing it. Christmas was less than a week away, and the night before, Dr. Taric told me to check in at the hospital to make it easier for me to start my job after giving birth.

　　So, early in the morning, I got ready, and it was during moments like these that I realized the challenges of being pregnant.

　　"Come on, Caitlyn, we're going to be late!" My father's urging reached my ears, prompting me to subconsciously speed up my movements.

　　I applied light makeup in front of the mirror while opening my closet to find something suitable to wear. However, I soon realized in despair that none of those clothes were appropriate for a pregnant woman. In the end, I had to settle for a baggy jacket, struggling to wrap myself up so much that I resembled a bear.
