Chapter 24 Talon's Coldness

　　Caitlyn's POV

　　Just as I was preparing to check out of the hospital, Dr. Taric made his way to my room.

　　"Caitlyn, how's your recovery coming along?"

　　Taric stood in the doorway with a warm smile on his face. He always maintained such an upbeat demeanor that it endeared him to every patient.

　　"It's not too bad, and it doesn't seem to have left any lingering effects."

　　I managed to muster a smile, even though it had been almost a week since the car accident, and I hadn't yet seen Talon in person, which didn't make me happy in the slightest.

　　"Well, that's good news. By the way, I have some good news for you."

　　Taric smiled at me and handed over a document, which I quickly skimmed and realized was a contract.

　　"Your previous application has been approved; the hospital in Nospera has agreed to let you work there. However, I'm afraid you're not in the best of shape right now. I'd suggest you come back after you've spent some time recuperating at home."
