Epilogue

When they came to, Laney was long gone. Zach stared at David, and he stared back. The ship had been landed in an unknown area, not crashed, and for some reason, Laney had left them safe. David scrubbed his face as he sat back on the pilot's seat, Zach sitting in the back.

There was going to be a stop to this.

As the ship moved to fly away, Zach stared down through the window, silent tears pouring down his face.

Goodbye Laney.

I can sense them the moment I let my power soar, and I run in their direction. I no longer look over my shoulder in case I'm being tracked by David.

They would be out for another day or so, and my legs continue to move on.

I needed to be with them, my family.

Then Jabez's aura glows like a glowstick, and I know exactly where their hideout is at.
