Alana's POV
We wish for things we cannot see.
We leap and we fall.
But know exactly who you're leaping because they might just pick you up.
I wake up feeling drowsy and I unlock my door, padding to the kitchen. I stop in my tracks as I find Aiden laying on the couch sleeping.
I sigh and walk over to him, planting a soft kiss on his cheek.
Some people won't understand why I would take such a chance after what happened seven years ago but it's exactly that.
It happened seven years ago.
I knew sometime I would have to let my walls down to be truly happy and well, I guess now's the time.
It isn't as easy as it seems. . . opening up, but I understand what where he came from.
Doesn't mean I'm not gonna make him pay though, he pressured me a bit too much last night.
I walk towards the kitchen and start preparing breakfast. Soon I hear his footsteps approaching. I don't turn around, just listen.
