Ring

" How did you dare to touch and stare at my girl like this ?? Don't you see, I can kill you?" and I took out a gun off my pocket and positioned it tighly against his forehead. He was bewildered.

"Noah! Let him get out of your hold." Clara ordered me, red in anger.

I kept staring at the man, full with anger, with the gun still on his head.

"want me to repeat what I said? Let him out, don't spoil our date. Will you please ..."

I suddenly reminded that I was on my date. I left him. " thankyou young lady and pardon me." he said to Clara staring weirdly at me as if I were an alien. She nodded.

He left with his dunken movement.

I sighed and rolled my eyes "fewh!, I'm sorry Clara, I didn't mean to spoil our date like this"

"don't worry honey, I liked the way you did that,I mean.. it was like..some adventure. But thankgod his life was saved!" she laughed.

I was happy she thinks that way. "How can anyone be as positive as you?" I smirked at her lively attitude which always surprises me and makes me laugh. She smiled back.

We decided to drove to a Manhattan beach resort and took our seats against each other. We ordered the dinner and wine.



Clara's POV

Noah prepared everything really well. The set up was all romantic and I'm sure he had spent alot on it, but he never likes it when I ask how much he paid.lol. He took care of my choice. He knew it well that I wanted our date to be sweet.

We were both looking straight into each other's eyes and talking. He put his hand on mine. And presented me a ring.

" is that your choice?" I asked, acting wierd, intentionally.

"mmm....yeah...but why??...is that a bad one?" he seemed so nervous.

"Ummm....I must say your choice is ..!" I laughed.

I saw his face went down.in disappointment.

"hey, hey your choice is great."

And hearing this, it was as if he was realived. We laughed together.

He passed the ring through my finger.

I showed it to him raising my hand.

"how's it?"

"you increased its grace" He smirked as I blushed.



He suddenly, blew all the candles on the table and lifted me from my chair, close to him. He leaned forward, I did the same, his soft lips met mine.

He softly bit my lower lip. I passed my fingers into his brown hairs. His arms swept around my waist. I don't know for how long it goes but it was just amazing.

Then we sit back and started having our dinner. All of a sudden I saw behind Noah, someone near the lady's washroom staring at us. I knew him. He called me there with signals. I raised from my chair, thoughtfully.

"umm, Noah, I'm done, I'm just coming."I smiled at him.

"sure love, come back soon."

I reached inside the lady's washroom and searched for that man. Someone from the back took hold of my arms, it was a very tight hold. I was about to scream but he placed his palm on my mouth and shut it tightly.

"stay away from Noah and his life will be saved as well as that of yours. And I don't want you to question me. You have to make him hate yourself. And walk far from his life."

Tears fell from my eyes as he said those words.

He continued "you are supposed to stay away from him, got it?"

When he was leaving, I shouted " I don't believe you", my eyes filled with tears and red.

He turned his head back with his body facing forward "I hope now you have no doubt" he showed his phone. Noah's mother had video called " hey there, Clara dear I hope you would have now decided something, must leave my son and make him hate you as soon as possible" her voice full of aggression.

I fell on my knees crying, "why??...why am I supposed to do this?"

"Now go and do what is been told to you" that man screamed at me.

How can a mother kill her own son?

Why do she want me to leave Noah? Questions ran in my mind as I cleared my face and put my make up on so that Noah will not sense what just happened.

I exited and saw Noah waiting for me, tapping on table. I felt like hugging him and crying.

"hey, let's..." I cut him off. Took my purse and began approching the exit. I made an angry face yet tears fell and I wanted to tell him everything. But his mother had blackmailed me. So I would have to follow her instructions.

"hey Clara..wait..what happened ??" he rushed to me paid his bill in hurry. And took hold of my hand.

"just leave Noah, I don't want to see your face."

He hold my shoulders "calm down Clara, and just tell me what had happened?"

I took him off " don't you touch me again. Here take your ring with you, I don't want you in my life anymore."

I saw his eyes were filled with tears.

"don't go Clara, I can't do without you"

He bent on his knees.
