“Shall we go to the convenience store now?” Xavier asked while grinning as soon as he saw that everyone was already finished eating.

“Yeah, I’m fine with it!” Kevin said eagerly with a nod before turning to Cain. “What about you, Cain? Is that okay for you?”

Cain nodded and, in his monotonous voice, replied, “Yeah.”

“I’m coming too,” Van said voluntarily while grinning before turning to Ersel. “You come with us too, Ersel,” Van said to Ersel with the former giving the latter a wink, as if the former was saying these words: It’s okay, man. I’ll take care of you.

Ersel bit his lips and nodded before replying, “Okay.”

“Great!” Xavier exclaimed joyfully before turning to Lino. “What about you, Lino? Are you coming with us?”

[Here we go again.] Lino thought reluctantly while also hiding his reluctance behind his smirk.

“Yes, of course!” Lino said with a smirk while also doing his best to hide his feeling of reluctance. “No problem!”
