Chapter 220: Fiery Confrontation
Even though Murray's death was two days ago, Tahara and his team managed to complete their mission. The issue was not when an ancestral spirit would appear; they had already made plans and arrangements for what to do in that event.
As Tahara strolled around the academy, she saw Robertson, Otake, and the training area. Tahara came in and began to battle while staring at them. With the advantage, Otake attacked, but Robertson quickly retaliated, bringing his sword right at Otake's throat. Tahara started to cheer as she moved in their direction.
His hand went to pat Otake and asked, "You lost again?"
Otake sighed as he placed his sword back in its sheath and sat on the ring.
"It appears that Summer Adams was correct—fighting upper ranks has nothing to do with ranks." Quoting from something Summer Adams had said to him earlier, he said.
Taking a cloth to dab at his perspiration, Robertson sat down beside Otake and put his sword away.
