The Reason for Concealing

The man who jumped down from the wall seemed completely unbothered by the impact as he landed on the ground. He quickly headed towards the place where the small commotion was. Though he had already reached middle age, his tall figure and the lightweight armor that he wore made him look graceful and fearsome as he strode past people. The man was also wearing a brown fur cloak over his armor. Judging from the way he dressed and his power level, this man must be more than just a normal guard.

“What’s the matter here, Bardo?”

The middle-aged man asked. He glanced at the mages who were dressed in black, feeling surprised. What kind of people wore full, heavy armor like this in winter? Even under normal circumstances, no one would be wearing it except for when they were fighting. The armor made these people look both mysterious and, at the same time, suspicious.
