The Clan Leader’s order

The atmosphere of Bernier City was full of tension under the circumstances and the order of Duke Coven, the city’s ruler. All the Five Knights were hunting down the intruders and the escaped prisoners with all their might. Guards were out patrolling every part of the city. People who were suspected of involvement in the prison break were interrogated without any exception. Those who came from out of town, in particular, were questioned more thoroughly.

A prison break-in such as this one was a serious matter that had rarely occurred before. It was a blatant defiance of the law and the ruler of Bernier City.

While the intruders defying him and sullying his honor might have felt like a blow to his pride, it was not Duke Coven’s major concern. What he was worried about was the fact that one of the Dark Elvish prisoners was able to escape.
