To tame a wild tiger

Myalis looked at the guy as he came closer to her and her brows furrowed when she heard a crashing sound not far away from them and the guy chuckled.

"You are the one he wants to recruit, I don't sense much magical energy around you, what are you?" He asked in a heavy tone, she glanced at him but did not answer his question.

"She is a beast tamer, she has quite a unique one by her side already," The one who wanted to recruit her said and Myalis sighed then the guy looked at her.

"A beast tamer huh? Then, shall we test just how strong you are?" He asked and her eyes widened as she looked at him.

"Bring that tiger out, she has been acting up too much and won't let anyone get near her, I don't care if it dies in the process," He said as he walked away, the other members began moving back and a barrier formed around a part of the room with Myalis in it.

'What the hell are they thinking?' She wondered as she looked back at the one that brought her there in the first place.

Myalis heard a loud growl and a large white tiger with black and red stripes entered the barrier, Myalis looked at its legs and the way it walked and growled, it almost seemed like it was from a different gene.

"May I ask what you want me to do here?" She asked.

"Tame it if you can, if you can't, I don't care if you kill it, but the result will decide where you stand, in the end," Their leader responded and she exhaled deeply before returning her attention to the creature.

Myalis knew that the beast was no ordinary one and because of that, she didn't want it to die and decided to tame it even if it would give her a hard time since it seemed like the type that hates most people and doesn't trust anyone.

The beast charged at Myalis with incredible speed and her eyes widened as she tried pinpointing where it was exactly but all she saw were its afterimages.

"How strong are you exactly?" She asked as she heard a growl coming from behind her. When she turned around, her eyes widened as the beast lunged towards her with its claws glowing red.

"I am sorry about this," Myalis said as she dodged the creature's attack and flames began forming around her right fist, she punched it in the side of its stomach which sent the beast crashing into the barrier and Myalis's eyes began glowing orange.

"Let's see how strong you are kitty, I have already decided that I will tame you and that's exactly what I plan on doing," She said with a gentle smile on her face.

Myalis took a deep breath and as the creature charged towards her, she began dodging each and every one of its attacks, but while doing so, she noticed that it was not only incredibly fast.

While looking at the way it was moving, Myalis lost sight of it and before she could move, she felt a grip on her back and was flipped over as lighting began forming around the creature's feet and the ground beneath it began cracking as it growled.

"That creature is out of control," The leader among them said.

"I like you, I got you too," Myalis said as her eyes glowed red and green and a large marking appeared under the beast's body, its eyes widened as it looked at the marking and Myalis stood up.

Previously, when the creature moved quickly around Myalis, she took advantage of the situation and set up a trap for it, placing a large magical taming circle on the ground, which would determine whether it could be tamed or not once it had dropped its guard, believing it would win, but the circle doesn't work on every type of creature, only certain types, and it worked on the tiger because its will was not as strong as Myalis's.

"You are too angry, there was no way you could have beaten me, not that easily at least, you will not be able to overpower my will," Myalis said as she stared at the beast, their eyes narrowed as he looked on.

The one who wanted to recruit Myalis smiled after he saw what was happening, the creature couldn't move from within the magic circle as it stared into Myalis's eyes.

"Please don't kill me," A voice said and Myalis's eyes widened as she approached the beast, realizing that the voice was coming from within the creature.

"You..." Myalis said as a blade came flying towards the creature, it looked at the glowing blade which was about to pierce it, but Myalis grabbed onto the tip of the blade, due to which her hand was cut and the creature's eyes widened as Myalis's blood dripped on its forehead.

The leader chuckled before approaching the barrier and placing his hand on it, after which the barrier disappeared and Myalis glanced at him as the magic circle began glowing bright red as well as the creature's body and it began floating in the air.

"Don't touch this creature, this is mine," She said as she stared at the leader with no fear in her eyes as he approached her as well as the one that tried recruiting her.

"All right, I won't touch the beast, I know how beast tamer's magic works, now that creature is under your command, you managed to tame it and all that matters is the result, you are a strong tamer, that's obvious, one whose will is strong enough to overpower a beast itself, you are now officially a member," The leader replied and Myalis scoffed.

The girl didn't want to be a part of whatever they were planning, but she knew that it was the only way to find out what they were really up to since she didn't want them hurting the people who were now in her life.

"Congratulations," The one that recruited her said and Myalis smiled at him before turning towards the beast who was now officially hers.

The beast's body stopped glowing and Myalis saw that its body began transforming into that of a female, her eyes widened, thinking about whether she should let the creature fully transform in front of the masked people or not, now that she knew it had a human form.
