Myalis sighed and looked around her wondering where she could hide from the snake, which had already spotted her as well.

"I didn't come here to become a snack, nope, not today," She mumbled when she noticed the huge tree just a few steps from her, and a smile appeared on her face as she rushed over to the tree.

Myalis flung herself up in the tree as the two passed by her and the snake did notice her, but then she saw that one of the girl's feet was injured, her eyes narrowed when the girl came to a halt and the snake was about to attack her.

Myalis exhaled deeply as a fire whip formed in her hand and she flung it towards the girl and it wrapped around her waist.

The girl flinched, then looked at the whip and Myalis jumped down from the tree and smiled, then pulled her out of the way and before she could crash into anything, Myalis grabbed onto her.

"Are you okay?" Myalis asked and the girl looked her directly in the eyes, then Myalis smiled at her and she flinched, then moved away from her and the whip unwrapped the girl before disappearing.

"Yeah, thank you," She responded and Myalis smiled at her then they returned their attention to the giant snake.

"Uh... Do you need help?" Myalis asked and the girl glanced at her and scoffed.

"Nope, you already helped me, I will handle this now," She responded as she looked at the snake which roared and was rushing towards them.

A smirk appeared on the girl's face and she pulled two short blades from her boots and looked at the creature then rushed forward and before it could even touch her, she slashed it across his stomach and its neck due to which its head got separated from its body and Myalis smiled.

"She has enhanced physical abilities as well, nice," Myalis mumbled, then the girl sighed and looked at Myalis.

"Why were you running from it?" Myalis asked.

"It injured my feet because I wasn't careful, it had a huge advantage where there were more trees, but here has an opening," She responded.

"So you weren't running, good to know," Myalis said and the girl smiled at her.

"I hope to see you again, I owe you and I want to repay you, I don't like owing people," She replied and Myalis chuckled.

"Don't worry about it, maybe we will see each other again, who knows, take care of yourself, it's going to be night soon, I better go," Myalis said.

"You take care as well," She replied as Myalis walked away and then the girl's eyes narrowed while looking at Myalis's uniform, then she smiled before going her separate way as well.

After leaving the woods, Myalis looked at the city ahead of her and smiled at how beautiful it looked with the sunlight reflecting on the buildings and how short the distance to get into the city was, but then she remembered that the island they were staying on was just at the city's entrance, just before the main bridge that is used to cross the river to enter the city.

'When I look at it, that's a long walk; I could take a taxi, but...' Myalis thought as she closed her eyes and called out to her beast, which appeared in front of her, then she opened her eyes and smiled at it.

"Would you mind giving me a ride?" She inquired, and it bowed its head and lifted its right front foot, then she smiled and climbed onto its back.

The creature then raised its head and spread its wings, and Myalis held on tightly as it flew up in the air, she looked down as they flew over the city and then exhaled deeply at the view.

Myalis looked at the cars and different types of ways people were using to travel and how many people were in the city and she smiled.

A few companies that merged were building vehicles in a few cities around the world. They wanted to provide different modes of transportation to reduce people's daily stress and to generate revenue, so they came up with a few different solutions.

Many talented individuals started working in the engineering sector, which led to the production of a wide variety of vehicles and a few other technologies that were distributed throughout the world and some of which were even propelled by magical energies.

After a few minutes of flying, they arrived at the island and landed. Upon seeing them, Lilian and the kids smiled and rushed out of the temple and Myalis got off of the creature.

"Myalis, is this yours?" Lilian asked and Myalis nodded as the creature growled at the kids who were about to touch them and they pulled back.

"It's okay, they don't mean any harm to you," Myalis said as she passed her hand on the creature's head.

"Touch him now," She said then the kids touched him and he didn't growl at them and Lilian smiled.

"You tamed it?" Lilian asked.

"Yeah, I did, they say it's rare to tame one of these," She responded, Lilian chuckled and then nodded.

"Yeah, there are not many of these roaming around these days, hardly people will get to tame them, you are lucky, the sun is setting, want to have dinner with us?" Lilian asked and Myalis nodded as Calris and a few others approached them and he left staring at the creature.

"Wow, how did you manage to tame such a rare one, Myalis?" He inquired, and she smiled.

"It's all thanks to you guys; you've been a huge help to me, and without you, I wouldn't have been able to; also, my father's lessons helped," She replied before approaching him after noticing a worried expression on his face.

"Is everything all right?" He smiled and patted her on the head when she asked.

"Everything is fine, kid; I am proud of my student; come on, let's go have dinner; I am hungry," He responded as he walked away, and Myalis looked at the creature, which bowed its head and then vanished, and she followed Calris and the others inside to eat dinner.
