Curve implores Jack to reconsider, reminding him that Veer had willingly put his life on the line to save them. It is a precious opportunity not to be wasted.

Veer, who was running towards Wolf's group, glanced back for a moment and noticed that everyone had already departed from the curve. A smile appeared on Veer's face upon seeing this.

"It's a good thing they're all gone. Now I can deal with it myself," Veer thought.

With renewed determination, Veer picked up speed and headed towards Demon Wolf's group. When Veer was just 15 meters away from the group, he swiftly drew his blade and struck the ground with force. Then, carefully aligning himself in the right direction, Veer grasped the handle of the blade and pulled it towards him. Veer was now heading at a 90-degree angle from Wolf Peak, disappearing into the forest like a spinning top.

The wolves, who had initially started running towards the approaching human, abruptly changed their direction upon seeing Veer running in the opposite direction. They entered the forest, emitting a loud howl.

"Come..." Veer whispered confidently.

With that, all the wolves began chasing Veer. "Huh, so now he's after me. It's a good thing those wolves didn't go after my friends," Veer thought.

Suddenly, Veer closed his eyes and opened them again, causing a brilliant blue light to emit from his eyes. Now flying through the air like a cannonball, Veer swiftly grabbed hold of a tree branch and started running towards Wolf's group. However, with the addition of mana to his internal energy, his speed had reached an astounding 60 m/s, surpassing that of the Wolf Pack.
