The old man was surprised by Veer's accusation. "Who told you that I used a magic spell to knock you out? The spell I used could have killed ten people like you in an instant, but your physical strength saved you, thanks to my magic spell."
Veer realized that he had misjudged the situation and needed to be more cautious. He recognized that the old man's magical abilities were not to be taken lightly and decided to proceed with caution.
"Oh, because of my warrior ability, I am still alive today. I have to find a way to escape from this old lunatic, otherwise, this will be my grave," Veer thinks to himself.
While Veer is lost in his thoughts, the old man suddenly approaches him and pricks a needle in Veer's finger. The old man collects a drop of blood on a glass plate and takes Veer's blood to a machine that makes a similar noise to the one during Veer's warrior test. Veer realizes that the old man has put his blood in the machine and wonders if it's the same machine that determines if a person is a warrior. If so, the old man will discover Veer's secret, and he must act quickly.
However, before Veer can do anything, the old man puts the blood in the machine, and after a short time, the results appear on the screen.
Rank 1 Warrior Awakens with internal energy. When the old man sees what is written on the machine, he turns around and stares at Veer as if he has found a treasure.
"Hey, what are you looking at?" Veer says with bewilderment. When the old man sees how Veer is speaking, he restrains himself. Then he says, "So, you have dual ability, and as far as I think, you are an 18-year-old kid who has given his warrior and magician test maybe three days ago."
When Veer sees that the old man has already seen his secret, he accepts defeat and says, "Okay, I accept defeat.Yes, I have awakened the dual potential. And I came here to buy a magic spell for myself because I don't want anyone to know about my ability that I have awakened my dual ability."
When the old man listens to Veer, he says, "Child, I give you two choices. One, you become my student, and the other, I will cut your body into pieces and see your secrets one by one."
When Veer listens to the old man, he is surprised to see the old man's smile and feels a mixture of fear and excitement. He thinks to himself that he was looking for a master to learn magic, and this old man, being a rank 6 magician, would likely have powerful magic spells to teach him. He also realizes that refusing the old man's offer could have dire consequences, so he decides to become his student.
"I want to be your student," Veer says to the old man.
The old man starts laughing out loud after listening to Veer's response. "Ha ha ha ha! It is a very good decision. So, you have accepted me as your master. Why are you still wearing this face mask which hides your identity? Take it off and bow down to me on your knees," the old man commands.
Veer follows the old man's instructions and takes off his mask. As soon as he does, the old man is momentarily shocked to see the handsome face of an 18-year-old boy with beautiful black hair and blue eyes.
Despite his initial surprise, the old man quickly composes himself and scrutinizes Veer. Veer kneels before him and says, "I bow down to you, Master, and I am ready to learn from you starting today."
The old man, now known as Salazar, asks Veer if he knows who he is. Veer nods, and Salazar explains that he was the one who destroyed an entire army of monsters with a rank 3 thunder storm magic. He clarifies that even though it is a rank 3 magic, if used correctly with mana, it can be as powerful as a rank 1 spell.
Salazar recognizes that Veer is both a warrior and a magician who has awakened the lightning element. This means that Veer can learn magic spells from Salazar and also increase his warrior rank. However, Salazar has limited time due to his age and the fact that he was poisoned a few years ago, which prevents him from becoming Veer's guide.
When Veer hears this, he feels sad for Salazar and realizes the urgency of his situation. He nods his head and says, "I understand, Master. I will keep your words in mind and never reveal my dual potential. And I will stay away from that rank 6 magician until I am strong enough to face him."
Salazar nods his head and says, "Good. Now, let us begin your training. You have the potential to become a great warrior and magician, and I will do my best to guide you towards that path."
Veer feels a sense of excitement and determination, knowing that he has found a worthy master to train under. He bows down to Salazar once again and says, "Thank you, Master.I will do my best to learn from you and become a powerful warrior and magician.
"Veer, I cannot teach you much, but I have two cultivation techniques that could be useful in enhancing your warrior and magical potential," Salazar said, looking down at Veer who was on his knees.
Upon hearing about his new master's departure, Veer was taken aback and asked, "But Master, I thought you were going to teach me until your last breath. Are you going somewhere?"
Veer had known that his master's life was fleeting, but he had expected to learn from him until the very end. However, after hearing what his master had to say, Veer realized that Salazar was planning to leave after imparting two crucial cultivation techniques to him.
Salazar smiled upon hearing Veer's response and replied, "I must go to attend to something, but remember, I am your first master, and no one can replace me."
