Stage One Of The Exams

As he approached the place he saw that the door had almost closed and he immediately rushed and slid under, but unlikely for Natsu it wasn't a flat door inside it was a very thick door that is as long as a hall.

"Damn is this the end of me", Natsu said.

Natsu then stayed in a crawling position and then began to crawl.

While he was doing a quadruped crawl, this time with his knees on the ground. He saw other competitors who were doing a commando crawl ahead of him as he continued moving he saw other competitors approaching him and noticed he was the only one doing a quadruped crawl. He didn't mind because he saw it as a form of training.

As he was moving the pressure was increasing and continued increasing, Natsu felt like he was going crazy because the pain became too much for him to bare as the big boxed block was dropping him down into a plank position.

"Damn it this thing is really crushing me, am I really going to die now", Natsu thought as he was moving.

Eventually he was very close to coming out from it and then he heard a man screamed, Natsu looked towards his leg side since his head was facing the excape route.

He saw a young man crying for help and then looked around to see if anyone would help the young man but noticed no one cared and continued moving.

He felt pity for the man and then removed his hands from the massive big boxed block that was crushing them.

He was surprised that it didn't immediately collapse, he then realized that other people will use their magic to try and slow it down so it wasn't really much of his efforts that helped him but more of the competitors own.

He then crawled to the man while lying down, his movements were as if he was diving deep into the river.

"Hey are you okay", Natsu said.

The man was in excruciating pains so all he did was shout, "My legs! It's crushing my legs!"

Natsu then went to the back of the man and tried to pull the man's leg off.

He saw the man's leg refused to budge. "Shit it's not moving", Natsu said, as he was trying to pull the man's leg out.

He then faced his body towards the side wall and then placed his legs on the wall crushing the man's leg and pulled it out with all his might. He brought out one of the legs and then went to the other to do the same. Finally he succeeded in bringing the man's legs out.

The man began to move as fast as he could to avoid getting crushed, Natsu followed behind him and started crawling out.

Natsu noticed it has started going down a little bit faster although it was still moving very slowly.

He then turned and faced the massive big boxed block and used his hands to waged it, the position he took kinda look like a push up but this time the ground was touching his back and something was ontop of him as he started pushing his hands upward trying to stop it from crushing him and yet still trying to move and escape by sliding his hands on it and his body towards the escape route.

He was almost out of the place and then he turned his body in a way that will make him to be able to move out of it immediately by facing the escape route with his body and rolled out.

As he rolled out of the place the door entrance took like 10 seconds or so and closed.

"That was close", Natsu thought to himself as he faced a near death experience.

Kazuko saw Natsu lying down on the ground as she walked up to him and said, "I thought you said you'll get here before us".

Natsu then turned and saw Kazuko standing above him he then said, "I had a change of plans".

Unfortunately for Natsu, Kazuko was wearing a black trouser underneath her white and blue gown which means he couldn't see any panties.

He sat up right and said, "That was a good training, so shall we continue".

Everyone around him who suffered the same thing turned at Natsu and in their minds they all thought the same thing as they all thought, "What! he called that training, who the hell is this freak".

The instructor then said, everyone should rest for 10 minutes because after now we are going to do almost the same thing but this time it will be much harder.

"Thank goodness, I'm feeling so tired, I'm really happy he said we can rest for 10 minutes this way I'll have enough time to rest", as Natsu thought to himself while he fell back down to the ground.

Normally he feels so much pains and his trying to endure it besides he has barely rested after fighting all those monsters.

Okay everyone let's begin, the instructor said after waiting for 30 minutes instead of 10.

Kazuko and few other people noticed he waited that long and one of them asked the instructor as they began to jug into the forest.

"Sir you waited for 30 minutes instead of 10, why?" the boy asked.

You'll know when we get there, they were all jogging to the place without powers so Natsu was able to keep up.

They arrived at a lake, the water was so clean and the forest around it was beautiful.

"Okay everyone", the instructor said, "I want you to get to the other side by any means possible, got it".

Everyone replied, "Yes sir", the man then said, "See you all on the other side as he ran to the other side". He was very fast so he could run on the water.

Everyone heard his voice from the other side shouting, "Begin!"

People started using their powers to move either above the water or on the water.

Yami looked at Natsu and asked, "What are you going to do now?"

"Well isn't it obvious, I'll swim", Natsu replied.

"You know that I don't understand you at all right", Yami said.

"Well, we just met so how do you expect to know me or understand me very well", Natsu replied.

"You're right, okay so we'll meet at the finish line right", Yami said.

"Sure why not", Natsu replied, "We can even turn it to a race, first person to reach there wins".

"I'm in", Yami said, "Okay then I'll see you at the finish line".

Natsu saw as Yami tried running on the water.

"It's a very long lake so I'm sure it will take them time. But there's something more than just running on water, what could it really be".

As Natsu was thinking a giant sea serpent came out from the water and roared so loud that everyone had to close their ears.

The roar was so strong that it threw people away from the finish line.

"What the heck is that!" someone screamed, as multiple sea serpent emerged from the lake.

"What they're more than one of them!" people said as they started freaking out.

Yami fell into the water as he was wondering what happened and then remembered what Natsu said, "I'll swim".

"Is that why he said it, did he already know that this thing will be here, if that's so then what really is he".

Natsu watched the contestants and saw how they were fighting against it.

He then jumped into the lake and started swimming.

The reason he's swimming is because that's the only way he can reach the other side even though it's going to take a lot of time.

Natsu used the waves to propel himself forward the water was rough and the worst part was that it was colliding with each other and due to this it became hard for him to swim, yes he was using the waves to propel himself forward but it was really tricky even for a pro swimmer.

"Damn it's hard to breathe and swim like this, I'm trying to use the current to my advantage but even the current is working against me. If I were in the other side it would have not been a problem because the water will just carry me to the finish line. The only thing I can do now is dive but I'm even afraid to go inside this lake because the current might be worst inside".

Natsu was seriously trying to think of a way out but couldn't, so he concluded that the only way out was to dive.

He started going deep into the lake and then he saw a very big giant sea serpent swimming under everyone.

"Hmmm, it's big, I can't believe it, it might even be bigger than the other sea serpent".

The serpent noticed Natsu and came close to him and started surrounding him.

"Damn I'm in trouble, why is that thing surrounding me, what am I going to do now. I know, if it continues like this I'll be able to swim well because it's blocking the current.

Should I try to hold on to it or should I just continue diving forward, my next step will determine if I'll live or die. Come on Natsu think, what are you going to do? If you don't find a way out you'll die and the worst part of all this things is that I'll soon be out of breath".

Natsu was really thinking of a way out and calculating so many possibilities as he started saying in his mind, "Think, come on think, you can do this Natsu think!"

Because of this he let out a few bubbles of air from his mouth and took the position of all those people who normally screams and power up.

As the bubble came out from Natsu mouth as he took the position, the sea serpent became aggressive.

It immediately used it's tail to hit Natsu out of the water.

Pffff....

As a large splash of water came out and landed back inside.

Natsu was thrown into the air as the serpent then immerged from the water and let out a loud roar.

"Damn what I'm I going to do now", Natsu thought as he closed his ears because of the sound.

Smirk, hmmmm...

"This is going to be fun, let's see if it's as strong as goroo's (half kangaroo half gorilla)".

Natsu was starting to get the mindset that he's strong while really he wasn't.

The sea serpent then used its tail to hit Natsu back into the water.

Splash...

Natsu held unto it's scales. It then dived into the water looking for Natsu.

As it was searching, it felt something on its tail and looked, it saw Natsu climbing it's tail and then it shaked it around.

Natsu almost flew out but later got a grip back, it then went deep into the lake expecting Natsu to fall off or let go as it was also using its body to hit rocks.

It went back up to the surface and threw it's tail up. With everything that happened, as it threw it's tail up Natsu lost his grip and flew up.

The monster saw it befitting and swallowed him.

Yami and different people were trying to get through the sea serpents.

But Kazuko on the other hand was merely dodging the serpent and trying to escape without harming it.

The boy with reddish hair like that of horse blood color which we saw earlier, was using flames to try and move the serpent.

"It's not allowing us to pass, are we meant to kill the serpent or not", the boy said.

The instructor was watching all of them and noticed that Natsu was swallowed.

Sigh.....

"Another contestant gone, oh well he did put up a fight for an F rank without any magic.

Okay what next, why are all of them hesitating to kill the serpents, I did tell them to pass here using every means possible, it looks like they aren't that smart after all.

But it's kinda nice to know that they're hesitant since they think it will give them bad results". The instructor thought as he concluded.

"Damn it", the fire boy with red hair said.

"I'll kill you all", he said as he started increasing the temperature of his fire.

As he was doing so a serpent emerged from the water and hit him into the water. It then started swimming towards him.

The boy became angry and surprisingly fire spread through out the water as he flew out.

"You little freak, how dare you think you can defeat me", the red hair boy said.

The serpent then roared at him making his flight unstable.

"Why you, I'll show you what I'm made of", the boy said as a magical seal appeared in front of him.

Before he could even launch his attack he saw a gigantic magical seal in front of the serpents mouth.

And as everyone saw this they all had one thought in their minds, "Run!"

The serpent blasted water out of it's mouth facing the finish line direction and the red head boy tried dodging it , he was so close to being hit and as he turned back he saw the massive damage it caused.

"I'm in big trouble", the boy said.
