"You are welcome mum"
Alyssa greeted Norma Elspeth with respect as she opens the door for her.
"Have you seen the baker," Norma Elspeth asked walking inside the living room.
"Yes ma'am, he came this morning,"
Alyssa replied and closed the front door.
"What about my message"
Norma Elspeth asked without looking at Alyssa.
"I have given it to him" Alyssa replied and slightly bowed down her head.
"Well then Alyssa that is good, now I will like you to go dust, mop and dry my room" Norma Elspeth said with hesitation.
"Your room? But I have never entered nor worked on your room before, why now?" Alyssa asked surprised.
"Don't question me Alyssa just do as I say," Norma spoked angrily.
"Ok ma'am, hmm yes ma'am I will do just that," Alyssa replied and bowed respectfully.
Alyssa moves away from the living room and heads to Norma Elspeth's room.
Berk comes to the scene.
"Hey Alyssa what are you up to,"
Asked Berk excitedly as he spots Alyssa.
"Berk you look perfectly fine" Alyssa said with a chuckle and looked at Berk carefully.
"Yes I am, even my hopping skills has improved," Berk replied happily.
Berk starts hopping boastfully.
"I can see that"
Alyssa said and giggled.
"So where are you going to" Berk asked curiously.
"I am going to my mom's room" Alyssa replied as she kept on moving.
"What! To do what?"
Berk asked looking scared.
"I was told by her to clean up her room" Alyssa replied weakly.
"Wow! that sounds cool" Berk replied excitedly.
"Come on" Alyssa said as they got close to Norma Elspeth's door.
The rabbit follows Alyssa behind as she turns the door knob and they both went inside the room.
The room was huge, and it was tiled all over with blue and white marbles, the interiors of the room was exquisite, as it contained beautiful paintings which one was of Norma Elspeth, the painting was so huge it covered half of the eight feet wall. Berk and Alyssa's mouth grew wide open at the sight of the room though it was late, the glass chandelier was enough to brighten up the whole room. Even Alyssa room didn't look this good. And the bed was wide enough for five persons, the wood of the bed was made with gold and silver patterns, the sheets were blue in colour matching with the blue marbled wall.
"Wow! This room looks so beautiful and amazing" Berk said with his mouth wide open.
Alyssa just stood looking around as if her eyes were searching for something, then she moved towards Norma Elspeth's bed and laid on it.
"Yes it is, and gosh this bed is so soft I could stay here forever" Alyssa said lying down on the bed and deeply inhaled on the fragrance from the pillow.
"Alyssa your mother's room is so beautiful how come yours looks like a bunk?" Berk asked looking at Alyssa.
"Well I can't say" Alyssa said keeping a sad face.
A hissing sound
"Ah!"
The rabbit gasped.
"What was that?"
The rabbit asked and grabbed Alyssa's usual white gown looking quite afraid.
Then Alyssa hurriedly came down from the bed.
"My goodness this room gives me the creeps" the rabbit adds as he shakes continuesly like someone catching a cold.
"Don't worry am sure it was just the wind" Alyssa said confidently.
Hissing sound
"Now I am sure that wasn't just the wind"
Berk said with his teeth shaking like a grinding machine.
"What do you want in my empress's room"
A grey coloured asp asked them.
"Ermm we were just about to leave" Berk said almost leaving his skin.
"Really? Then why are you intruders still standing here"
The snake asked crawling towards to them.
"Maybe if you stop scaring us that way, then we will have the chance to do what my mum asked us to do before she comes in, she might not be happy with you for disturbing us"
Alyssa said with her arm folded.
"Oh! You think you can fool me but am too wise to be fooled"
Hissed the snake still crawling towards them.
"Of course not, you can't be fooled you are too wise to be fooled didn't you notice that we're armed less"
(No weapons). Alyssa said looking at the snake confidently.
"Ok then I will go but I still have my eyes on you"
The snake said and starts crawling away.
"Pheew!"
Said the rabbit relieved.
"Glad the coast is clear" Alyssa said as she starts arranging Norma Elspeth's bed.
"Yea he is lucky he left, I was just about to hop on him"
Berk said boastfully.
"I am sure you would, now let's just get to work"
Alyssa said and started sweeping dusting and later mopped the room.
"There is nothing much to do here"
Alyssa said after she finished working.
"Alyssa! look at this"
Berk said holding a strange looking book on his hand.
"What's that?" Alyssa asked curiously.
"I don't know" Berk replied and gives Alyssa the book.
"Let me see" Alyssa said and takes the book from Berk
As soon as Alyssa helds the book it opened immediately by itself.
"Wow!"
Berk exclaimed with his mouth wide open.
"Berk! this looks really strange" Alyssa said as she looks at Berk.
Berk still has his mouth wide open and looks like he is in a trance.
"Berk!, Berk!!"
Alyssa called shaking him continuously.
"Oh Jupiter poso, where is him am ready to hop on him"
The rabbit said rotating his arms continuously.
"Berk!"
Alyssa called more like a whisper.
"Huh!"
The rabbit squealed after realizing himself.
Alyssa touches the book and immediately it's colour became brighter and it glimmed like a burning lamp, with confidence she opened the pages and the sight seeing were frightening pictures of past beast and burnt witches and so many more.
"Oh my Gosh!"
Alyssa exclaimed after seeing all the things In a particular page.
"What Is it, Alyssa?"
Asked Berk worried.
"Don't worry Berk everything is going to be fine, let's go" replied Alyssa as she keeps the book on the floor.
"Are we done?" Berk asked surprised
"Yes we are," Alyssa replied and they both left the room.
As soon as they turned and left the room, the book closes back by itself and the book cover reads; 'THE BOOK OF SHADOWS' and then the book disappears.
