As the dust settled and the oppressive weight of the Void's presence fully dissipated, the four stood in the now eerily quiet courtyard. The jagged remains of the shattered obelisk shimmered faintly under the dim light of the sky, a reminder of the battle that had just unfolded.
Wei Lin's eyes scanned the horizon, her body still tense despite the apparent calm. "Let's not get too comfortable just yet," she murmured, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword. "We may have broken the obelisk, but whatever power that thing had… I doubt it's gone for good."
Mara nodded, her staff glowing softly as she leaned on it. "The Void leaves a mark, even if it's banished for now. We've disrupted its influence here, but the real source could be much deeper."
Selene, still catching her breath, nodded weakly. "It was tethered to this place, but I sensed something pulling from much farther. This was just one fragment of a much larger force."
