Bull Head pointed at Rat Head. "Let's ask him." Horse Head, still tormenting himself with dark thoughts, agreed and found a bit of relief.
Seeing both Bull Head and Horse Head approach, Rat Head smiled sheepishly.
"What's going on?" Bull Head asked, his tone accusatory.
"Follow me." Rat Head glanced around nervously, like a thief, and led them behind the Hell Sentinel Council chamber. There, behind the circular chamber but still, within its bounds, an imposing figure was pacing impatiently near a large divine statue of a naked human woman in a standing pose like a deity.
"You're late," the High Sentinel's voice rumbled, low and menacing, more of a growl than a shout. Bull Head and Horse Head looked up at the imposing figure, their hearts pounding as they recognized the commander of the Hell Sentinels. They bowed deeply, knowing they were in the presence of a being they had only heard about in fearful whispers.
