Chapter 6: Parkour City! / Gift Code!

Lucius once again found himself inside of the VR lobby but contrary to his first time, he is much more knowledgeable now.

The phone was also invented by YG Corp. and they even connect it to the VR server.

So he uses that and searches for the type of game he was looking for.

As soon as Lucius clicked enter, he felt his body getting teleported to another location.

In front of him, stood a door, seeing the poster printed on the door, Lucius didn't hesitate and immediately head inside.

'Parkour Simulator'

Was the word written on the door.

As soon as Lucius went through the door, he found himself in a completely different world.

Tall buildings, Parkour obstacles everywhere in the place.

Lucius couldn't hold his excitement down as he grins while looking around the place.

The building design was inclined more of the Earth's building design compared to the one in this world which has advanced architecture design.

Lucius took a deep breath as the atmosphere was just like that of the place where he was also parkouring.

He felt at home, yes, this is his home.

Lucius grew in the street more than he did in the orphanage and by chance, he befriends some parkour fanatics as they slowly trained together even though they were only kids at the time. Lucius is an 8 years old kid.

Unfortunately, after he left, he also lost contact with them.

Now, Lucius was already twenty and his love for the sport was not comparable to when he was eight.

His mind has matured and knew what his priorities were.

He didn't come here to play but to train!

As such, Lucius didn't waste time any longer and first did some warm-ups such as stretching.

After he was done with his warm-ups, he first did some basic tricks and play around the park.

His moves were a little clumsy at first which is understandable since it's been a while since he last parkour, but as time went by, he was slowly getting proficient again.

Plus with the help of Inhuman Temporal Perception, Lucius could manage to perform some advanced tricks.

Soon, people slowly started noticing him.

A murmur could be heard as many people talked about him, some were amazed by him, while some were envious.

But Lucius didn't bother giving these people even a bit of his attention as he trained with full determination.

He planned to at least be able to control his body's coordination because even a tiny mistake could make his plan, fail.

So he continued, to train, train, and train.

He went from basics to pro tricks like jumping in buildings and many more.

Lucius was so focused on training that he didn't even notice it was finally 9:30 which means he had been training for 4 hours or so.

Lucius decided to call it a day as he logged off and removed his helmet.

Even though he could still play while sleeping, nothing could take away his sleeping time, not until he became addicted to video games of course.

Nonetheless, Lucius took a peaceful rest, seemingly unbothered in all of the hardship he would encounter in the future.

Fortunately, nothing disturbed Lucius' sleep as he had just finished his very first day in the new world.

"Uwah!!!..." Lucius stretches his stiff body after laying for a while.

Lucius has a smile on his face as he just experiences the best night of his life.

The mattress of the bed was so soft that Lucius had a hard time convincing himself to get up.

As he finally got off the bed at last, he took a quick bath, dress up, and cook an instant noodle which he found laying around in his refrigerator.

'Sigh, I guess no matter how advanced civilizations are you're still a necessity.'

Lucius said to the noodle using his mind.

It's no point in talking, it's a noodle for God's sake!

Anyway, Lucius quickly finished his food in a flash, not even bothering to savor it.

Instead of logging into the VR world, Lucius took his hoodie and shoes as he had other plans for the moment.

Quickly exiting in his apartment, Lucius started to get familiar with his surroundings as he didn't find it hard to blend with the crowd.

Well, some young kids noticed him maybe because of his viral video or he's really just that handsome.

Fortunately, no one comes up to him and dared to bother him so everything is fine.

And even though Lucius was unfamiliar with the area, with the help of his blue screen's map, he find his destination...

...with great difficulty of course.

Nonetheless, he reached it!

Now Lucius, standing in front of one of the biggest Mega Malls in the world.

'Uno Mega Mall'

Lucius remembered writing this in his novel and the MC himself went there to get something.

Lucius' purpose was the same.

The date today was March 6, 2200, whereas the MC was supposed to be reincarnated on March 10, which was the same date the Mendalla would be released.

So he was confident that no one would catch him buying 'that' stuff.

He was a low-key person after all.

As soon as Lucius entered the mall, he immediately head straight to his destination without taking any detour.

But the mall was huge and he also wasn't quite sure where the right location was, which in turn wasted more time.

Fortunately, after of what seemed like an eternity, being trapped in a maze, Lucius finally arrived at his destination.

Lucius went inside what seemed like a school supplies store.

He did just like what he remembered as he went straight to the counter where a young woman was working with a smile on her face.

Clearly unusual...

"How can I help you, sir?" The sales lady asked with a polite tone.

"I would like to take a coupon." Lucius calmly said.

The lady was shocked but hides it as she took a key from one of the drawers.

"This way, please~" The lady polite said as he guided Lucius to a different room.

They arrived in an empty room with only a floating screen could be seen.

The lady guided Lucius to the screen and quickly left leaving the young man alone.

"So this is it..." Lucius said under his breath while staring at the screen.

This screen took quite a significant importance in the flow of the story of "TROL".

People simply called it 'Redeem' because this is the place where you could redeem Gift Codes.

Normal people might not know what Gift Code was but rich people sure does.

Gift Codes are codes Azaktan himself made, many of them were now scattered around the internet, waiting to be found, while those who were found, were either sold to the rich or used on themselves.

Note! 95 of 100 rankers in the game have quote-unquote used a Gift Code.

Of course gift code also has different rewards and we're only one-time use, so the demand for them grows each day.

and Lucius, as the writer of all of that, of course, knew a lot of different Gift Codes!

But because the Redeem has a rule of only one code per person, he can't redeem it all.

Fortunately, Lucius already had something in mind.

Lucius couldn't wait as he walk straight to the screen.

The code he planned to use was the one the MC used.

Even though he felt sorry for the MC, he still prioritizes his safety more than others.

And just when he was about to type the code, his brain suddenly works on its own as Lucius suddenly remember something, just like Jimmy Neutron.

In his mind, Lucius suddenly remember a memory that he would normally forget but with Photogenic Memory, his memory was as clear as clean water.

'Could it work?!' Lucius thought as he hastily type the word he remembered.

That's right, Lucius typed his pen name!

" It works!" Lucius was shocked and ecstatic that his code worked.

The reason why he wasn't quite sure about that code was that it wasn't a canon.

The code was something he just used on the side story but thankfully it works!

The reward of the code he just redeem was much greater than the one he was planning to use.

And MC would still be able to use the code he was destined to use, not causing any major changes in the plot!

After he was done, Lucius happily left the store knowing that he would receive the Gift Code after he logged in to his Mendalla account.

And because he was in such a good mood, he decided to stroll around the mall for a bit, without knowing that someone was already watching him from the dark.

"I have found the target." A man whose face couldn't be seen due to the darkness stated on the phone.

"Good, never let him escape your sight" A moderately old voice that of a man said from the other line of the phone.

"Yes sir." The man in the darkness simply said as he hang up the phone and continue observing Lucius.

meanwhile, our MC, was ignorant about all of this as he happily stroll around the mall.

And because he wasn't paying attention to where he was walking, he bumped into someone.

"Ah! im sorry!" Lucius quickly reacted and immediately help the girl.

"Are you ok?" Lucius worriedly asked while supporting the lady

"I'm fine." The lady simply said and immediately walk away not giving Lucius any time to say anything.

"Goodbye!" Lucius shouted since the lady was already far away.

'What a weird girl.' Lucius thought and all of the sudden remember the face of the girl.

The girl was extremely beautiful, with his silly long black hair and a beautiful face that blended with it, Lucius couldn't help but praised the girl's beauty.

But the weirdest part is he doesn't feel any sort of attraction toward the girl.

'Am I gay?' Lucius even started to question his masculinity.

Lucius shook his head as he decided not to think about it any longer and just enjoy the remaining of his free time.
