D'Avengers Team (1)

[Congratulations to all survivors of the Tutorial part 1!]

[To proceed to the next part, please make your own team composed of at least 5 members up to 7!]

[Each 1st place of Area 1 to 10 will be given the privilege to choose their teammates first according to their clearance time! All chosen members won't be able to decline. As long as these 10 people choose you, you will be their teammates.]

[You will be given 2 hours and 21 minutes to find your own teammates. I wish you the best of luck in choosing your teammates!]

After the first part was cleared by all Areas, we were assigned to choose our teammates giving each first place of the first part of the tutorial the advantage to choose our teammates.

As the first area to clear the first part and as the first place, I would be the one to choose my teammates first. I already have one in mind. The first teammate I chose was Kevin. As someone who was able to remain hidden throughout the first part, he would be a good assassin in the upcoming tutorials.

Also, it would be good for me in the long run to choose someone who has the potential to be the best. After accidentally seeing his status window, I knew that he would be killed by those people once he revealed his skills. Who would want someone who could kill them without them noticing it?

Fortunately, I saw him once when I used the View Character to all the people while observing them. Except Kevin, there was no one good enough to be my teammate. Next, I needed to check every person in this room.

When the voice finished announcing the next instructions, we were allowed to move again. The first place I went to was Area 8 as they cleared the first part a lot faster than others.

Going directly to Area 8, people from other Areas watched me as I walked towards it. Area 8 was talking to themselves when they spotted me going to them. All of them stopped and looked in my direction.

Area 8 was the only one that cleared the first part without casualties. Though, we were the first to clear the tutorial, we only have 23 survivors.

The man in the first place stared at me inquisitively. I heard others gulped as soon as I stopped in front of them.

"You can't escape my blue eyes." I whispered softly to avoid being embarrassed. Though I could use it before arriving, I forgot to use it as people were focusing on what I would do. So, I could only use the skill once I arrived. Turning my head at the man who was in the first place, then I froze.

It was not because of his good looks, nor his captivating eyes that could hypnotize people. It wasn't that. It was because I knew this character. I knew him too much that I was frozen in place, because I was his creator.

I was the one who created him. At least he wasn't supposed to be in a novel by other authors.

2: Make your own team and support the main character in defeating the main antagonist

3: Be the main character's brother and help him defeat the main villain (allowed to help but only if the main character asked you)

**PS: Liam is on his 5th round

Was choice number one and three different? Although I could follow the main character if I chose the choice 1, I couldn't get involved in his adventure it was telling me to only watch. But, what if the main character chose to forfeit the round and regress, what will happen to me?

It was already the 5th round. I wasn't part of the first round to four. I could only choose to get involved. The second choice would be better than the first but it was still unknown whether I'll be able to support him.

What if there was an accident? The only choice was to stick by his side, and occasionally save him. Though he has the potential to be the strongest, it was only achievable if he could live until the end.

So I chose number three!

[Congratulations on choosing the Younger Brother Route! Please always remember that you couldn't act as you want.]

F*ck! Was my choice wrong? Should I just choose number 2 instead? Younger brother my ass!

I am his creator, his father! Why did I become the younger brother instead? This damn Gilbert!

Sighing, I could only accept the reality. Though I've chosen it, I feel that it was a trap made for me to be an OP support character that could not move on his own. Fortunately, my occupation as an author would help me think of lines I could say to make the main character trust me while believing I was a conditional-strong teammate.

Moving my view from the next person, it was another shock for me. It was not because she was my creation. It was because he was a 'she' pretending to be 'him'!

After that, the others weren't good enough. I now have 3 prospects to recruit. Without wasting any time, I faced Liam and asked to be his teammate.

"Brother, do you want to team up with me?"

Gasp could be heard all over us. The people of Area 8 became pale. I assumed they wanted to be teammates with Liam but unfortunately for them, his role was decided to be my teammate on the rest of the Tutorial.

"Why me?" Liam calmly asked me, looking straight at my eyes. Blue eyes filled with curiosity stared at me.

"I think you are a strong leader because there was no casualty in your group. I might be mistaken, but looking at everyone giving you glances since I arrived, I surmised that you are the reason why all of them survived. So, do you want to form a team with me? I believe that I am the best here after you."

There were a lot of ways to convince Liam to be on my team. But, I shouldn't expose my abilities even if it was him. Building trust should be done after the Tutorial.

Right now, what he needed the most was strong people that could help him clear the Tutorial with the highest score. And I was the perfect person to help him with that.

"If I joined your team, who will lead and who will be our other teammate?"

"You will be the leader. I believe that you already have proven your abilities as the leader, I'll tell you the other details after you agree to be on my team."

"What if I said no?"

What if you said no? This guy really... I'm your creator! Though I didn't give you life but everything about you was made by me...

No, he wasn't the Liam I created anymore. Maybe a part of him was the Liam I created. But, it was his fifth round. Time could change everyone and he wasn't an exception.

"I will only tell you this, can you lend me your ear?"

Liam stood up and approached me. Blond hair, blue eyes, and tall stature. I believe he was also packed inside. Liam was the man I wanted to be when I created him. It was with utmost love and care. Though his behavior and attitude was the polar opposite of mine.

"I already have a class, I can't tell you the details but I am a mage."

Liam looked at me intensely. The pressure behind his blue eyes was truly horrifying... at least if it was not me. I stared back at him.

"Hm, I guess I will only find out by joining your team. If I join your team, can I also choose some members that I want?"

"Of course, but I'll be the deciding factor if I want them on our team. I have an ability to gauge who was beneficial for me."

"Oh, then I'll leave it to you. Let's meet after an hour."

"Alright let's do that. Ah, I already have another member I wanted to recruit. He was the next best after me in my Area."

"Next best... I understand. I want to form a seven-man team."

"Good, then I'll leave the recruitment to you. I'll be back at my seat. My stamina is depleting just standing."

After that I went back after receiving his approval. I didn't forget to give a hint that I am weak. To be honest, my stamina was really weak. It only has 8 points. Maybe my act will really be supported by my lack of stamina.

It would be good if we could recruit Arisse because she would be a good tank. Though it was truly worrying about his tendency to be scatterbrained. Kevin was totally unique as the main character.

Fortunately, i didn't have to check everyone's stats. I will let the main character find his own teammate. I'd just be here to approve whether they will be benificial or not. If not, I wouldn't mind to be the bad person to reject them.

At the same time, when the young man left, Liam didn't waste any time. Liam went and asked Arisse to be his teammate.

"Al, do you want to be teammates with me?"

Al 'Arisse' looked at Liam, before nodding. She trusted Liam because he was the one who didn't question her despite her soft voice. People could easily tell she was a girl. But, Liam didn't differentiate her with other guys. No, instead Liam trusted her with his back and gave her a sword and shield.

If only Arisse could master her skill, then she wouldn't be found out. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't lucky nor smart. If she was, she could easily grasp and master her skills.

"Okay, you stay here, I'll find you later. I need to find some other teammates."

But before Liam could leave the Area...

"Boss! Take me!"

"No! You're weak. Me! Take me! I'm third."

"Ha! Third my ass, you didn't even kill any of them."

"What? You coward, come here and I'll punch you!"

The atmosphere became tense. Liam sensed that he really failed as a leader. Liam was used to being alone that he forgot that the world they were at was cruel. If you don't stick with the strong, you'll die, especially in the Tutorial.

Liam wanted to calm the atmosphere but he knew he couldn't appease them. He needed to be cool-headed. He couldn't save everyone. He already did his part. So, Liam left them alone.

Liam needed to know if there were other differences. If there was none, he'll recruit others that were good enough to be a team inside the Tutorial. At least two people were already a good candidate to be his permanent teammate.
