A Little Farfetch'd

The episode starts with the gang still walking through the forest and trying to arrive in Fuschia City.

"Our heroes are still on the trail to reach Cinnabar Island, but they still have to get to Fuschia City first and it looks like they're still on the trail."

Meowth groans from tiredness and starts pouting. "Why does Cinnabar Island have to be so far away!"

"Complaining and pouting isn't gonna make the trip less far away," Domino says.

Jessie tries to cheer her Pokémon up. "Meowth, with each step we take, we get a tiny little closer to Cinnabar Island. Don't forget that."

Meowth rolls her eyes. "How about I just relax on your shoulder." The talking Pokémon jumps onto his trainer's shoulder.

James is looking at his map. "It says here that heading straight will lead us to Fuschia City, which we need to cross first before reaching Cinnabar Island, so we're on the right path."

A bush starts rattling near the gang, which catches them off guard as they stop walking and turn their attention to the rattling bush.

"A Pokémon?" Domino questioned.

"Or could be someone, stay back just in case," Jessie commanded.

A Pokémon pokes its head out in the rattling bush. It was a Pokémon that resembled a light brown duck with a white underbelly, carrying a leek. It was staring at the gang and then looking at only Jessie. "Farfetch'd!" It cries out. The Pokémon's eyes immediately start showing red hearts and start running at Jessie.

"Oh hell no!" Meowth immediately jumps down off Jessie's shoulder.

"AH!" Jessie covers her face, closing her eyes to brace for impact as the brown duck Pokémon tackles her.

The title screen shows.

"A Little Farfetch'd"

The brown duck Pokémon starts nuzzling its beak on Jessie's cheek. "Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd!"

Jessie's friends start chuckling from seeing the Pokémon nuzzling on Jessie's cheek.

"That little Farfetch'd like you, Jessie!" James stated to her.

"Farfetch'd, huh?" Jessie pulls out her Pokédex and aims it at the Farfetch'd that's currently nuzzling her.

"Farfetch'd, the Wild Duck Pokémon. A normal and flying type. Lives where reedy plants grow. They are rarely seen, so it's thought their numbers are decreasing."

"Whoa, so these Pokémon are rare?!" Jessie puts her Pokédex away.

"I guess so! And since this little guy likes you, I think you should catch it!" Domino suggested.

"Alright!" Jessie stands up, reaches into her purse, and pulls out an empty Poké Ball, aiming at the Farfetch'd. "You ready?"

The Farfetch'd starts hopping up and down in excitement. "Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd"

Jessie throws the empty Poké Ball at the Farfetch'd, however, a red bubble surrounds the Farfetch'd, causing the Poké Ball to reflect into Jessie's hands. "What's this?"

"It looks like this Farfetch'd already has a trainer, Jessie," Domino says.

"Aw, man!" Jessie frowns in disappointment. "I really wanted a Farfetch'd too."

"Nothing you can really do. We should just continue our trail to Cinnabar Island." James suggested.

Jessie nods as the gang continues on their trail. The Farfetch'd looks at Jessie and then starts following the gang. Jessie and her friends turn around to see Farfetch'd is following them.

"Uhh… the Farfetch'd is following us," Jessie stated.

"Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd jumps and hops onto Jessie's shoulder and starts nuzzling its beak on Jessie's cheek. "Farfetch'd!"

"Hey! That's my shoulder to rest on!" Meowth objected.

"Maybe this Farfetch'd trainer looks a lot like you, Jessie. Which is why it thinks you're its trainer?" Domino assumed.

Jessie thinks for a little bit. "Me having a look-alike?! That would be so cool!"

"Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd continues nuzzling Jessie's cheek with its beak.

James chuckles. "Wow, I have never seen any Pokémon give you this much attention, not even Meowth."

"Don't push your luck, Jimmy." Meowth threatened.

An unknown voice was heard by the gang. "Get away from my Farfetch'd!"

Jessie and her friends look to see a Pokémon trainer with brown eyes, wearing a black and red cap, red shirt, and black shorts, some of their brown hair is poking out under the cap.

"Are you Farfetch'd's trainer?" Jessie asked.

"Yes I'm its trainer and I don't like it when people try to steal my Farfetch'd like that!" The trainer assumed.

Jessie immediately shrieks and tries to defend herself. "I wasn't trying to steal Farfetch'd! Honest! You see-"

The trainer cuts off Jessie's sentence and continues assuming. "You must want Farfetch'd then! Okay, I challenge you to a Pokémon battle right here, right now! Winner gets Farfetch'd!"

Jessie's eyes widened. "Listen, I think you're going a little bit fast here-"

The trainer cuts Jessie's sentence off again. "Battle me for Farfetch'd!"

"Jessie, just battle him already!" Meowth demanded.

Jessie groans and takes a deep breath. "Fine."

It cuts to Jessie and the trainer standing on opposite sides of each other to create a battlefield.

"Alright Krabby, I choose you!" The trainer sends out their Krabby into battle.

Krabby materializes. "Coo kee! Coo kee!"

"I've never seen that Pokémon before." Jessie pulls out her Pokédex and aims it at the Krabby.

"Krabby, the River Crab Pokémon. Water type. Its pincers are not only powerful weapons, they are used for balance when walking sideways."

Jessie puts her Pokédex away and pulls out a Poké Ball. "Electabuzz, I choose you!" She sends out her Electabuzz to battle against Krabby.

Electabuzz materializes. "ELEBUBUBU!"

Farfetch'd starts jumping up and down, cheering for Jessie to win. "Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd!"

The trainer looks at their Farfetch'd and notices their Pokémon is cheering for the opponent. "Farfetch'd… you're not cheering for me?"

"Hello! Are we gonna start the battle here?" Jessie says while crossing her arms.

"Right! Krabby, Bubble attack!" The trainer commanded.

Krabby releases multiple bubbles from its mouth at Electabuzz. The electric tiger covers its face while getting hit by the bubbles.

"Thunderbolt, Electabuzz." Jessie countered.

"ELEBUBUBU!" Electabuzz shoots out electricity from its antennas and strikes Krabby.

"COO KEE!" Krabby cries in pain from getting electrocuted and falls over, fainting from the battle.

The trainer gasps from seeing their Krabby knocked out. "KRABBY!"

James declares the battle. "Krabby is unable to battle, Jessie and Electabuzz are the winners!"

Meowth's eyes widened. "Wow! A one-shot battle!"

Farfetch'd starts cheering from seeing Jessie winning. "Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd!" The Pokémon runs towards Jessie, hops onto her shoulder, and nuzzles her cheek again.

Jessie chuckles, embarrassed. "Thanks, Farfetch'd." She then recalls Electabuzz back in its Poké Ball. "You did good, Electabuzz!"

The trainer sighs and recalls Krabby back in its Poké Ball. They walk towards Jessie. "Well… I guess you won. Which means you get to keep Farfetch'd." The Pokémon trainer digs into their pockets, pulls out a different Poké Ball, and hands it to Jessie. "This is its Poké Ball, take good care of Farfetch'd for me."

Jessie stares at Farfetch's Poké Ball before shaking her head no and handing it back to the trainer. "Thanks, but no thanks."

"FARFETCH'D?!" Farfetch'd cried out in shock.

"Wh-what?!" The Pokémon trainer asked in shock.

Jessie places a hand on the trainer's shoulder. "Look, we need to talk."

It cuts to where the Team Rocket trio is currently at.

"NO, I'M NOT!" Mondo denied it by yelling. "I am not handing over my recently caught Ditto to Giovanni!"

"Come on, Mondo!" Cassidy begged. "We have to give the boss something and this is our opportunity to do so!"

Butch starts explaining why Mondo should hand over Ditto. "We better hand it over before you have some friendship bond with Ditto when we have the chance. Also, we haven't given the boss any Pokémon for weeks and I would rather keep my job, thank you very much."

"Thank you for that, Butch!" Cassidy looks at Mondo. "So now will you do it?"

Mondo looks down and frowns. "Just because I want to keep this job…" He reaches into his pockets and pulls out Ditto's Poké Ball, sending the Pokémon out.

Ditto materializes. "Ditto!"

Butch notices some lip stains around Ditto. "What the fuck are those around Ditto?"

Mondo's eyes widened as he immediately turned around to wipe the lip stains off with his shirt, and turned back around to face his partners-in-crime. "Probably some dirt stains from running around yesterday."

"But they were shaped like lips-"

"Guys!" Cassidy interrupted Butch, with a laptop in her hands that she pulled out. "I'm making a call to Giovanni!" She calls their boss from the laptop.

Giovanni answers from the other end, but he isn't looking at the screen. "What do you three want now? Can't you see I'm busy with something?"

"Sir, we have great news! We got a Pokémon that you might be interested in!" Butch says.

This immediately grabs Giovanni's attention as he looks at the screen to face the trio. "You have, huh? Is it perhaps the talking Meowth?"

Cassidy sadly shakes her head no. "We're still working on that, sir."

"But we want you to take a look at this!" Butch says with a grin on his face.

Mondo slowly steps into the view of the call, holding onto Ditto in his arms, showing Giovanni the Pokémon. "We interested you in…" Mondo didn't want to finish the sentence, but he notices Cassidy and Butch glaring at him as he does so. "Ditto…"

"Ditto!" The Pokémon cries out.

Giovanni stares at the Ditto, looking not impressed. "A Ditto…"

"Well you see boss, Ditto can transform into anything you want!" Cassidy starts naming some Pokémon. "Like maybe a Dragonite, an Arcanine!"

Butch continues. "An Exeggutor, a Rhydon! You name it, sir!"

"Even if that Pokémon can transform into any Pokémon, it's not the real thing you idiots!" Giovanni grits his teeth. "It's like a scam! Weeks without you three bringing me a Pokémon and this is it?!"

The Team Rocket trio's eyes widened. "S-sorry, sir."

"Don't you dare bring me a pathetic Pokémon like that again! If you three want me to make me happy, bring me a rare Pokémon that is rarely seen!" Giovanni ends the call on the laptop after his sentence.

Mondo hugs his Ditto. "I won't give you to the boss like that ever again, Ditto."

"Ditto!" The Pokémon cries out in joy.

"So a Pokémon that is rarely seen… where the fuck would be fine a Pokémon like that?" Butch questioned.

"Bingo!" Cassidy was seen with binoculars and noticed the gang from afar. Butch and Mondo both look where Cassidy was looking.

It cuts to the gang and the Pokémon trainer sitting on logs and talking to each other, mostly about Farfetch'd.

"Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself to you guys. Hello, my name's Jamie. I guess it's nice to meet you all." Jamie looks away from the gang from being shy.

The gang starts introducing themselves to Jamie. "Nice to meet you! I'm Jessie!" "My name's Domino!" "And I'm James!"

Meowth chuckles. "This guy is so nervous!"

Jamie looks back and is shocked to see Meowth talking. "Y-your Meowth can talk?!"

"Yeah, I can talk alright!" Meowth confirmed.

Jessie shushes Meowth. "You're making him more nervous."

Meowth looks away and just rolls his eyes.

Jessie turns to Jamie. "Sorry about that."

Jamie nods. "And I like to apologize for talking too fast. It's just… my Farfetch'd prefer to be with female trainers." They sighed.

"Farfetch'd!" The Pokémon cries out.

"So that explains why Farfetch'd was loving Jessie so much," James says.

"Wait a minute. I'm a girl too, why didn't Farfetch'd give me attention?"

Jessie and James look at each other after Domino asks the question. "Well…" They both said, awkwardly.

Domino raises an eyebrow. "Well, what?"

Jessie decides to respond. "Don't get mad or anything, but your cap and your choices of clothing make you more… boyish?"

Domino's eye twitches in anger before letting out a scream at Jessie. "ARE YOU SAYING I LOOK LIKE A BOY?!"

Jamie jumps from their seat, and so does Farfetch'd. James and Meowth just close their ears, while Jessie just takes in Domino's scream.

"I told you not to get mad!" Jessie countered back.

Soon, James and Meowth uncover their ears and Jamie and Farfetch'd both calm down after Domino's scream and they continue their conversation.

Jamie starts explaining how long they had Farfetch'd. "I caught Farfetch'd recently, it was yesterday on Route 13."

"Oh wow! We were just on Route 13 yesterday." Jessie says.

"I guess we must've completely missed each other then by distractions because we kinda got distracted," James explains.

Jamie nods. "I guess so… but I figured out that my Farfetch'd prefer female trainers when I met two female trainers on that route, which Farfetch'd expressed the same affection for, Jessie."

"So I'm not the only one?!" Jessie frowns.

James continues explaining. "I battled both trainers with my Krabby, saying that if they beat me I would hand my Farfetch'd to them, but managed to beat them both. I guess my luck ran out when I battled you." They chuckled slightly.

"Why are you offering your Farfetch'd to people if they beat you in a Pokémon battle?" Domino asked.

Jamie looks down and sighs. "Because… I want Farfetch'd to be happy. I want to give it what it wants after all. That's why I was disappointed when you declined to be the trainer for Farfetch'd."

"Well, you just caught Farfetch'd recently. How about you train and bond more with it and maybe it will show the same affection to you as with female trainers?" James suggested.

Farfetch'd hops onto Jessie's shoulder and starts nuzzling her cheek with its beak with hearts as its eyes. "Farfetch'd!"

Jessie chuckles embarrassingly and rubs the back of her head. "Okay! Okay!"

Jamie looks at Farfetch'd expressing affection to Jessie and frowns. However, a random net comes flying, capturing Farfetch'd, and then the net pulls back.

"FARFETCH'D!" The duck Pokémon screams out.

The gang and Jamie all gasped and looked to see where Farfetch'd was pulled back, they saw Farfetch'd now in a cage and the Team Rocket trio, laughing, with their net gun that trapped Farfetch'd in the first place.

Cassidy starts up their motto as always. "Prepare for trouble!"

Then Butch follows up. "Make it double!"

"To infect the world with devastation!"

"To blight all people within every nation!"

"To denounce the goodness of truth and love!"

"To extend our wrath to the stars above!"

"Cassidy!"

"and Butch, of course!"

"We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night!"

"Surrender to us now you will surely lose the fight!"

Mondo finishes it off. "I'm Mondo alright!"

"Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd tries to break out of the cage with its leek, but can't.

"HA!" Butch laughed at the duck Pokémon's attempt to escape. "These bars are strong, you're not breaking out of this cage!"

The gang all immediately grit their teeth from seeing Team Rocket again, but Jamie looks extremely nervous.

"Okay, you three better give Farfetch'd back, right now!" Jessie demanded.

"P-please!" Jamie begged, nervously.

Cassidy laughs. "No way, twerps! A rare and valuable Pokémon for the boss is just the thing we need to get promotions!"

"So bye-bye!" Mondo said before Team Rocket started running away.

"AFTER THEM!" Domino yelled out in command as she and the rest started chasing the Team Rocket trio.

"Meowth, Thunderbolt them!" Jessie commanded, throwing Meowth in the air.

"Time to teach you three losers another lesson!" Electricity starts to flow through Meowth's body before sending a bolt of thunder toward Team Rocket.

However, the trio quickly turned around and extended their arms, to reveal gray gloves, right at the electricity and it deflected the electricity.

"What?!" Meowth says in shock while falling from the air, but is safely caught by Jessie.

Cassidy laughs. "How do you like our new electric-proof gloves huh? Your thundershocks on us are now useless!"

Mondo quickly pulls out a Poké Ball. "Ditto, transform into Weezing and use Smokescreen!"

Ditto materializes and transforms into Weezing. "Weezing!" The Ditto-transformed Weezing starts releasing thick dark green smoke from the holes of its body around the area.

The gang and Jamie all start coughing from the Smokescreen. "I can't see anything!" "Where are you guys?!" "I hate this!" "So much smoke!" "Farfetch'd?"

The Smokescreen soon clears and the gang and Jamie look to see that Team Rocket fled the scene from the distraction.

"NO!" Jessie shouts in frustration. "Team Rocket got away!"

"With my Farfetch'd… why?" Jamie falls onto their knees and starts crying.

Jessie and her friends go over to Jamie to immediately comfort them.

"Don't worry, Jamie. We're gonna get your Farfetch'd back." Jessie says with a smile.

Domino smiles. "Yeah! Be strong!"

"You can count on us!" James gives Jamie a thumbs-up and a smile.

"Yeah! Be the boy that you are and man up!" Meowth added.

Jamie looks at the gang and nods. "R-right, okay." They stand up and stop crying. "We need to save Farfetch'd!"

Jessie pulls out a Poké Ball and a Safari Ball. "I'm already on it! Scyther and Haunter, I need you guys!" She sends out her Scyther and Haunter.

Scyther and Haunter both materialize. "Scyther!" "Ha! Ha!"

James also pulls out a Poké Ball as well. "Haunter, I need your help too!" He sends his own Haunter out as well.

James' Haunter soon materializes. "What now?"

Meowth groans and rolls his eyes once James' Haunter is sent out. "Oh great, it's Casper the friendly ghost."

James' Haunter glares at Meowth. "You're lucky you're a normal type of I would destroy you right now."

Jessie's Haunter starts laughing at James' Haunter. "Ha! Ha! Ha!"

James' Haunter floats up to Jessie's Haunter. "What's so funny, huh? Everyone knows I'm the better Haunter anyways!"

Jessie's Haunter starts glaring at James's Haunter, who glares back. Scyther is watching this all happening.

Jessie tries to break it up. "Quit it! We need to focus on the main task at hand here!"

"Right! So stop fighting!" James added.

Both Haunter stop and back away from their fight after their trainers command them to do so. "Fine, what's happening?" James' Haunter asked.

Jessie looks at both Haunter and Scyther. "We need you guys to find Team Rocket through the air."

James nods. "Search every inch and come back to us when you find them!

"On it!" James' Haunter soon floats up in the air to find Team Rocket as Jessie's Haunter follows by floating as well and Scyther follows by flying.

Domino looks at Jamie and smiles. "They will find them, I promise."

Jamie looks at Domino and sighs as they slowly nod. "Okay."

It cuts to the area where the Team Rocket trio is at. They're currently taking a rest from running away from the gang.

Cassidy is chugging a water bottle and then throws it on the ground after finishing it. "I hope you both know where we put our hot air balloon at."

"Hold up, 'both'?! Cassidy, we told you to mark where our hot air balloon is!" Butch pointed out.

"No, you didn't! I didn't recall it at all!" Cassidy countered.

"We have no time to argue. Let's just find our hot air balloon when our quick rest is over while we still got this Farfetch'd." Mondo says.

Team Rocket all look at the Farfetch'd trapped in their cage. The Farfetch'd stares right back at Team Rocket.

"Farfetch'd!" The Pokémon cries out.

Cassidy walks towards the Farfetch'd and starts petting its lower beak through the cage bars. "Now aren't you a cute stolen Pokémon?"

Farfetch'd lets Cassidy pet its lower beak and looks like the Pokémon is enjoying her pets.

Butch raises an eyebrow. "Cassidy, what the fuck are you doing?"

"I'm just petting our little Farfetch'd here. No harm." Cassidy answered back and continued petting the duck Pokémon's lower beak.

The eyes of Farfetch'd are now heart eyes while staring at Cassidy. "Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd!"

Cassidy starts chuckling. "Hey guys, I think this little guy likes me! Can I let it out of the cage?"

Butch and Mondo both look at each other before both answer Cassidy's question. "No."

"Come on! Why not?!" Cassidy pouted.

"Cassidy, you can be a dumbass all you want, but you're not dragging us along with you!" Butch says while crossing his arms.

Mondo nods. "Yeah. What if Farfetch'd is faking it to escape?"

"Come on, don't be such ridiculous people. I'm taking Farfetch'd out of the cage." Cassidy starts unlocking the cage that Farfetch'd is in.

"Farfetch'd!" The Pokémon cries out.

"Fine, but if it makes a run for it, we know who to blame for this failure," Butch says as he looks at Mondo who nods in response.

Once Cassidy unlocks the cage, the Farfetch'd immediately hops onto Cassidy's shoulder and starts nuzzling her cheek with its beak. "Farfetch'd!"

Cassidy starts chuckling. "Aww, you're an adorable Pokémon, are you?" She begins petting the duck Pokémon's lower beak again.

Butch and Mondo both look on seeing Farfetch'd and Cassidy sharing affection, weirded out, and then they look at each other.

"So I heard Stockholm syndrome was nice this time of year. Did you know that?" Butch says, looking at Mondo.

Mondo shakes his head in response. "No, I did not."

It pans up to the sky to reveal that both the gang's Haunter and Jessie's Scyther spotted Team Rocket. The Haunter starts floating back and Scyther starts flying back towards the gang and Jamie, then it cuts to them.

"I hope Team Rocket hasn't gone far," Jessie says.

"I'm sure they had to stop for a rest at some point," Domino replied to her.

"I just want my Farfetch'd back," Jamie said, losing a little patience.

"And we're going to get it back. Just trust us, Jamie." James says.

"I'm sure Team Rocket is doing something stupid right now. They always do." Meowth says with a laugh.

Soon, both Haunter and Scyther arrive at the gang and Jamie by air.

"We found them!" James' Haunter says.

Jessie's Haunter and Scyther both nod. "Ha! Ha!" "Scyther!"

The gang and Jamie immediately perk up from hearing Haunter's voice, which immediately grabbed their attention.

"Lead us to them, you three!" James commanded.

Both Haunter start floating back to where Team Rocket is and Scyther starts flying back to where Team Rocket is, but this time the gang and Jamie are following them this time.

"We have to get there before Team Rocket decides to hurry off!" Jessie says.

Domino nods. "Right. Jamie, get on my shoulders and I'll give you a piggyback ride."

"Oh, okay!" Jamie gets on Domino's shoulders like she commanded.

Once Jamie does, the gang starts sprinting even faster where both Haunter and Scyther are leading them. It cuts to where Team Rocket is at with Butch and Mondo both getting annoyed that Cassidy is still chuckling and petting the lower beak of Farfetch'd and the duck Pokémon nuzzling her cheek.

"Cassidy, can we go now?" Mondo asked.

Butch nods with a groan. "Yeah, we should get out of here right now."

"Okay. Okay." Cassidy stops chuckling and looks at Farfetch'd. "Ready to go, Farfetch'd?"

Farfetch'd immediately nods. "Farfetch'd!"

As Team Rocket was about to leave, they immediately stopped from hearing familiar voices.

"TEAM ROCKET!"

Team Rocket immediately grits their teeth in frustration once they turn around to face the gang in front of them.

Butch turns to Cassidy. "Dammit, Cassidy! I told you we should've left earlier!"

"You better give Farfetch'd back right now!" Jessie demanded the trio.

Jamie looks to see Farfetch'd is nuzzling on Cassidy's cheek. "Farfetch'd…"

Cassidy grins. "Are you sure you want us to hand over Farfetch'd? I mean, me and Farfetch'd have a bond, wouldn't you say?" She points at Farfetch'd nuzzling her cheek.

"Farfetch'd!"

The gang noticed and their eyes widened from Farfetch'd showing affection to Cassidy.

"Farfetch'd… what are you doing?" Jessie asked in disbelief.

Cassidy crosses her arms and grins. "As you can see, Farfetch'd wants to be a part of Team Rocket! So you twerps can just run along now!"

"That's not true!" James speaks up. "Farfetch'd just has an interest in female Pokémon trainers! It doesn't want to join your organization!"

"Bullshit!" Cassidy pulls out a Poké Ball. "Raticate, get them!"

Butch follows through by throwing Primeape's Poké Ball. "Primeape, go!"

Mondo pulls out two Poké Balls. "Marowak, Ditto, go!"

All of Team Rocket's Pokémon materializes into battle. "Raticate!" "Primeape!" "Ditto!" "Marowak!"

James looks at his Haunter and Jessie looks at her Haunter and Scyther, the two trainers nod and their Pokémon nod back. The two Haunter float into battle as Scyther flies into battle.

"Time for me to get involved here!" Domino pulls out one of her own Poké Balls. "Starmie, I choose you!" She sends out Starmie into battle.

Starmie materializes on the made-up battlefield between the gang and Team Rocket. "HYAH!"

Team Rocket commands their Pokémon the first moves. "Raticate, Hyper Fang!" "Primeape, Low Kick!" "Ditto, transform into the twerpette's Scyther and use Slash! And Marowak, you use Bone Club!"

Raticate dashes at Starmie, ready to bite it down. Primeape starts running towards Jessie's Haunter to low kick it. Marowak aims his bone at James' Haunter, then runs towards the ghost Pokémon, ready to hit it with its bone. Then Ditto transforms into Scyther then flies dashes toward the actual Scyther, ready to slash it.

The gang commands their moves back against Team Rocket's Pokémon. "Haunter, use Night Shade!" "Starmie, you use Water Gun!" "Haunter, you also use Night Shade, and Scyther, you use Wing Attack!"

Both of the Haunter's eyes glow red and then they fire multiple black beams outlined in streaks of dark red right at Primeape and Marowak before they could land their move. Starmie shoots out water from its gem right at Raticate before the Pokémon can use its move. The Ditto-transformed Scyther tries to slash the real Scyther, but it dodges and then hits the transformed Pokémon with its wings. All of Team Rocket's Pokémon land on the ground and faint.

"Dammit!" Butch cursed in frustration as Team Rocket all recalled their Pokémon.

"We won the battle, so that means you hand over Farfetch'd now!" Jessie demanded while gritting her teeth.

Cassidy wags her finger. "It doesn't matter if you won the battle or not. As you can see." She points at Farfetch'd, who's still nuzzling her cheek with its beak to express affection.

"Farfetch'd!" The duck Pokémon cries out cheerfully.

Mondo laughs. "So go ahead twerps, take Farfetch'd away from us if you want to crush Farfetch'd's heart!"

The gang's anger all goes to confusion as they have nothing to respond to with Farfetch'd expressing affection to Cassidy, so they just stare at them

"Do we… do something?" Domino asked.

Jamie immediately replies, frustrated. "Yes! That's my Farfetch'd after all! We have to get it back."

"Jamie, you said you want to make Farfetch'd happy and do what's best for them, right?" James says.

Jamie's expression immediately goes to sadness from realizing that James has a point. "I-I guess you are right, but-"

Meowth interrupts Jamie. "But what? Farfetch'd clearly prefers to be with female trainers and a guy like you will never get Farfetch'd's attention."

"Meowth!" The gang all scolds the talking Pokémon.

Meowth quickly defends himself. "I'm just being honest!"

Jamie looks back down before looking back up at Farfetch'd and calls it out. "Farfetch'd!"

Farfetch'd looks at Jamie with a curious expression. "Farfetch'd?"

Cassidy groans in annoyance. "Can we be on our way now? Seriously, quickly wasting our time."

"Cassidy, let's just get out of here," Butch demanded.

"Would you three please let me say some final words to my Farfetch'd before you take them away… please?" Jamie begs the Team Rocket trio with puppy eyes.

"Guys, we should let him do it," Mondo says.

Cassidy rolls her eyes in annoyance. "Fine, but make it quick."

"Okay…" Jamie takes a deep breath as they slowly remove their red and black cap to reveal all of their brown hair tied in a bun. Then they teach the back of their head to untie a hair tie, revealing Jamie having long feminine hair.

Everyone immediately gasped in shock at Jamie revealing they were a girl this entire time.

"That's a woman?!" Meowth said in shock, turning to the gang and pointing at Jamie.

Farfetch'd was staring at Jamie and its trainer was staring back. "Yes Farfetch'd… I was a girl this entire time. I just rather dress up as a boy and do boy things." Jamie said, a little embarrassed.

Farfetch'd was staring at Jamie before the duck Pokémon had hearts for eyes once more. "Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd immediately hops off of Cassidy's shoulder to go to Jamie.

"Hey!" Cassidy shouted at Farfetch'd. "Where are you going?!" She tries to grab Farfetch'd.

"Farfetch'd!" The duck Pokémon whacks Cassidy right in the face with its leek from her trying to grab it.

"OW! MY FACE!" Cassidy screamed out in pain while holding her face. Butch and Mondo both cover their mouths from trying to hide their laughter, but Cassidy immediately turns around, facing her partners-in-crime. "IT'S NOT FUNNY YOU TWO!"

Both Butch and Mondo immediately uncovered their mouths, looked up in the sky, and whistled like nothing happened.

Farfetch'd hops onto Jamie's shoulder and starts nuzzling their cheek with affection. "Farfetch'd! Farfetch'd!"

"F-Farfetch'd…" Jamie was in shock, but then they smiled and started petting their Pokémon, then hugging it. "I miss you!"

The gang behind Jamie all smile in delight, seeing Farfetch'd reunite with its trainer.

"I guess Farfetch'd like Jamie now after finding out Jamie's a girl," James says with a chuckle.

"NO ONE HITS ME IN THE FACE AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!" Cassidy yelled out, as she and her partners-in-crime started running towards Farfetch'd, trying to grab it.

Jessie looks at Scyther. "Scyther, Wing Attack them away!"

"Scyther!" Scyther dashes in the air towards Team Rocket and sends them blasting off with its wings.

Cassidy was crossing her arms while in the air. "Maybe we shouldn't have given them their final words."

Butch points at Mondo. "Mondo is the one to blame for that."

"How am I supposed to know that Jamie girl… was a girl?!" Mondo defended himself.

"LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Ding!

The gang and Jamie were looking up and smiling seeing Team Rocket blasting off.

"Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd was still nuzzling its trainer's cheek from affection.

"Thank you…, Farfetch'd" Jamie said while closing their eyes and shedding a tear.

Jessie and her friends looked on with a smile, happy that Farfetch'd reunited with its trainer.

"Now I really want a Farfetch'd of my own." Jessie turns to her friends. "We should look for one here!"

James chuckles embarrassingly and rubs the back of his head. "Sorry Jessie, but we already passed the route where Farfetch'd are known to be found."

Jessie falls in disbelief and groans in annoyance. "Just great…"

Jessie's friends, all their Pokémon sent out, and Jamie all laugh playfully at Jessie's sarcasm. It cuts to the gang, who've recalled their Pokémon, and Jamie, back in their masculine look with their red and black cap back on and hair back into a bun, looking at each other as they were about to say goodbye to each other.

"I guess this is where we part ways, Jamie," Jessie stated.

Jamie nods in agreement. "Yeah, I guess so. It was nice to meet every single one of you!"

"I'm glad you and Farfetch'd are now bonding a lot so that you don't have to give it up," Domino says with a smile.

"Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd cries out before nuzzling Jamie's cheek with its beak.

Jamie looks at their Farfetch'd and chuckles embarrassingly. "You sure like to nuzzle my cheek with your beak, Farfetch'd."

Farfetch'd runs up to Jamie's cap and starts playfully hitting their head with its leek. "Farfetch'd!"

"Okay! Okay! You proved your point!" Jamie laughed.

The gang and Jamie both wave goodbye to each other as they officially go their separate ways. It cuts to the gang walking on the trail of the route.

Jessie sighs and frowns. "I thought that Farfetch'd only liked me a lot."

"Don't be so down, Jess." Meowth hops onto Jessie's shoulder and then he nuzzles Jessie's cheek. "Because I like ya a lot!"

Jessie's mood immediately brightens up after Meowth nuzzles her cheek. "Aww, thanks Meowth." She then begins petting her Meowth.

Meowth starts purring from being petted by his trainer.

James spots a city from a distance and immediately recognizes it. "Guys, look!" He points out to his friends.

Jessie, Domino, and Meowth look to see Fuschia City in the distance and they smile.

Domino cheers. "Woohoo, we finally found and reached Fuschia City!"

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Jessie sprints off as her friends follow along.

"Our heroes finally reached Fuschia City once more to get closer towards their actual goal of getting to Cinnabar Island, but not without meeting a new friend along the way! How many friends or enemies will the gang meet in the future? Stay tuned as the journey continues!"
