AOT: It Was My Choice Chapter Forty Two: The Armored Titan [Part 2]

My ODM gear let out a powerful hiss as I propelled myself out of the way of the incoming palm of the Armored titan with relative ease.

The titan body was large and it's built frame was made to scare Humans and Eldians alike, but experienced ODM gear users can see right through this and go for the vitals.

A smile tugged at the edge of my lips as the Titan's eyes seemingly narrowed at my own, I wasn't scared one bit... In fact, I was sadistically enjoying it. The fact that my Mother was killed in place of Eren's mother was still fresh in my mind. I was going to make him regret ever coming to Shiganshina but I wasn't going to go around searching for revenge like a blatant fool.

"Not when it's right in front of me," I said with a crazy smile and latched onto a tree, the ODM gear shooting forward toward the tree with a burst of gas.

Bertholdt had anticipated my movement and tried to cut me off but I was faster, passing by him in a blur and slashing at him.

Wanda reacted quickly, lunging in with her ODM blades and defending Bertholdt in a flash, My eyes widened.

"Such quick movements," I said and then landed on the branch, "I think I have to let loose now, It'd be a shame to let you guys live after this,"

I jumped off the branch and disappeared into thin air, shocking the Titan shifters. 

"How the hell-" Wanda started.

"Is he so fast?" Bertholdt finished and then he felt something on his stomach, he turned down to see a blade piercing through. His eyes, trembling with fear looked at the person that was stabbing him... Purple aura consumed his eyes to the verge that they were not even visible.

His body shook involuntarily as he coughed up blood, I pulled my blade back and watched him fall to the ground narrowing my eyes at Wanda.

Bertholdt's back made contact with the ground and blood shot out of his mouth like a torrent, painting his face with his own blood... but immersively, Titan steam enveloped his wounds, slowly but surely healing them.

I retracted my hooks and spun in the air, a dazzling raw aura surrounding my eyes as I latched onto another tree and burst forward toward Wanda at incredible speed, failing to notice the Armored Titan that seemed to be pumping.

The Armored Titan's eyes shone with rage and madness and golden lightning billowed around it's already terrifying figure.

'Bertholdt...'

'Bertholdt...'

'BERTHOLDT!!!'

A roar so powerful erupted from it's throat, causing blood to roll out of it's mouth. It echoed everywhere and I looked at the raging Titan.

"Did he seriously just do that?" I asked myself in surprise as the Armored titan moved forward, at a speed that it had never been able to achieve before heading for me.

Alas, I was faster... He didn't know how it felt like to lose everything precious to you. He and Bertholdt took away my Mother without a moment's hesitation on what their actions would cause.

My hooks retracted and I met the gaze of the Armored Titan, powerful purple aura coursing out of my eyes like that of a monster as my ODM gear glowed in a little bit of lightning.

I shot the hooks at the impenetrable armor of the Armored Titan and they dug in, shocking the Titan out of it's rage.

'Impossible,' Reiner thought.

But he had already lost his leverage, In a burst of terrifying endless gas, I vanished into the thin air... moving at nothing but supersonic speeds.

I appeared behind him, at his nape but his hand was quick to defend.

"It doesn't matter," I mouthed out as I raised up the blades of the ODM gear, a terrifyingly purple aura filling their entire being. Lightning shrouded it's very being and the blades began glowing.

I retracted my hooks once again and shot at the back of the Armored Titan, causing a little bit of shock to bubble in the rage filled eyes of the Titan. As I landed on his back, I burst into a rush running up the back of the Titan with pure speed and jumping up.

"Rage Breathing, Third form," I muttered and my eyes focused on my target, the covered nape of the Armored Titan. Everything seemingly got slower, the rustling of the trees, the wind... Everything.

I grabbed the blades by their hilt and the lightning rumbled, I was planning to end everything in a simple slash... Although not enough to kill Reiner. After all, The mission was Defeat the Armored Titan... not Kill. I don't know if I'll get my rewards if I kill it.

I slashed at the nape and there was another rumbling sound, purple lightning shooting off in all areas and slashing right through the hand blocking it and even the Nape... I could only watch in surprise as they exploded after piercing the nape.

The battlefield, once a scenery that defined nature itself had been turned into nothing but a grassland with no grass. The battle which was one-sided if I say so myself had caused it.

"But I don't have the power to restore nature so I don't care," I said and then looked at the damaged shifters.

Just enough power to put fear into them but during the Fall of Wall Maria arc, There would be no mercy to these two. They would be killed.

My existence in this world had caused a lot of changes and if Wall Maria didn't fall, Who knows what kind of change that would have caused?

Besides, I wouldn't have been able to use the Manga or anime as a preference anymore. If Wall Maria didn't fall in the original, I think Eren would have died in the mouth of a Titan nevertheless.

Now my eyes were focused on Wanda who was trying to escape, of course the keyword here was trying. 

She propelled through the destroyed forest with her ODM gear, fear causing a splitting headache for her. 

"Bertholdt... Reiner... I'll go get Annie!" She exclaimed only to get stopped by a figure moving at incredible speed, behind her. She knew it, It was the devil Aeron.

He was even more than awakened members of the Ares clan, much more. Not even Frederick Ares could shoot bolts of lightning out of his arm like it was some sort of weapon... Now that she thought of it, No member of the Ares clan could achieve such a feat.

I appeared in front of her and she landed on a tree.

"Please... don't kill me," Wanda pleaded.

It had been suicide from the moment they started plotting and she didn't want to die, She wanted to live and bear Bertholdt's children... She wanted to be his wife forever until death did them apart.

Her eyes moved around, looking for a route to escape yet her body did not follow, It was firm in position.

I jumped to the tree where she was on and her eyes trembled but I kept my blades, to not frighten the young beautiful Wanda,

"Does that mean you're-"

She didn't get the chance to finish as she got pulled into a kiss... The moment my saliva entered her mouth, It was over.

Annie shot forward, moving gracefully on her ODM gear. She was feeling afraid, shockwaves like that echoed around the entire forest and people in Carriages were worried.

Mikasa had even volunteered to come but she had shrugged the black haired asian girl off and said she would go... After all, Annie didn't know how'd Mikasa react when she saw the dead body of Aeron on the ground.

She felt like the boy was a serious threat to them, the kind of power and potential toward the power that he possessed. It was all terrifying, He was quick on his ODM gear and could perform powerful strikes too. His IQ was terrifyingly high and he loved playing around like a true pervert but behind that facade of Pervertedness, A warrior lay, Someone who wouldn't dare not to risk his life for the cause... Someone who was plotting to take control.

It was the same as her Father, he would manipulate other people into doing his bidding for him just as he had manipulated here in order to become a Honorary Marleyan... or maybe she viewed him different.

Annie landed on the battlefield, Her ODM gear pulling to a complete stop as she landed on the ground. She had expected to see Aeron's dead body on the ground but rather she saw the rotting flesh of the Armored Titan... A hooded Bertholdt who was wrapped around in Titan steam billowing from his stomach and last but not least Wanda who looked lifeless.

The scene was enough to shock her into realization, Her idea had been full of plot holes. He was drawing them in from the start, There was no hope of defeating him.

"Maybe he overhead our plan," Annie said as she ran to Bertholdt, his wounds being the most serious ones here, "Whatever it was, If he saw one of our faces, It's all done for,"

Wanda on the other hand looked traumatized on the ground unwilling to move but as Annie passed by her, going for Bertholdt... A smile formed on her face.

"Master, I will make you proud," Wanda mouthed out.

The ability to take over the minds of Eldians, although I would only ever try it on Female Eldians was an amazing skill to have. I turned Frieda into my Sister and I turned this girl, Wanda into my slave that will do my bidding for me.

"Ahh= Life became a whole lot peaceful now," I said and smiled, "Besides I should really get on with fucking the girls I want in the Boot camp now that a major arc is out of the way,"

It felt amazing right now, like the whole world revolved around my actions. No, I wasn't the Main character and I would never be one but I would be main Conqueror.

Besides, Someone ever noticed that Plot Armor didn't exist in Attack On Titan...

The familiar zipping of ODM gear echoed through the air again, I didn't bother grabbing my blades as my enhanced senses picked up on the people coming... Eren and Krista.

"Guys, I'm down here," I said and their eyes met mine, a shocking feeling of calmness passing them and the two of them descended on the ground.

"You okay? You left quite a while ago," Eren said and I shrugged him off.

"Of course I'm okay, Just met a little bit of troublesome people in the Forest and decided to teach them a lesson, nothing much," I said.

"Then what about all those shockwaves and bolts of lightning?" Krista demanded, "Besides, You look a bit scratched up,"

"As for those bolts of lightning, I dunno. Who knows how nature operates, There can be some bolts of lightning here and shockwaves coming from there for all I care," I said with a shrug, "But I assure I didn't go ahead and get myself into something I couldn't handle,"

The next morning was amazing, I felt refreshed and Wanda had joined back into the group. Of course, She was now under my Mind Alter ability. 

Now as for the way I altered her mind, I did really keep her memories of her time and childhood at Marley and even her joining the Military and meeting her fellow Titan shifters, as well as the experiment for the Artificial Colossal Titan but I started changing them up when she arrived here.

But the main thing is that she is 100% humble to me, She wouldn't dare betray me...

That same morning, Some scouts were investigating the mysterious activity in the Forest... They were zipping toward the battlefield.

And this was the Levi Squad... 

"What was the report again?" Levi asked as he flipped through the air, his hooks finding the branch of another tree instaneously.

Petra ran on the side of a tree and jumped, keeping herself steady as her ODM gear propelled her through the air bringing her to her Captain's side.

"Sir, The report was that there was a bolt of golden lightning and then a powerful roar, After that there were some shockwaves echoing through the entire forest but they came to a stop something around twenty minutes later," Petra reported, "It was also reported that Aeron Ares was not with his group at the time this happened,"

Levi's eyes flickered.

'So Aeron has something to do with this?'

Isabel smiled as she swung to Levi's side.

"Big bro, I don't think Aeron would be the right person to suspect with this... After all, The last time I saw him, sure he was strong but really... If it's what we suspect, That a titan is behind this. I don't really think he would be able to brute-force this," Isabel said.

Levi nodded in acknowledgement.

"I don't think Aeron could do this too," Farlan put in.

They weren't saying this for the hope that Aeron wouldn't be a part of this, It was because of Levi's emotional state but as they got to the scene, their eyes widened.

"You got to be fucking kidding me..." Farlan let out.
