AOT: It Was My Choice Chapter Forty Nine: Petra's Confession

Pushing off the ground in an instant, I latched the hook onto one of the buildings and shot ahead, releasing a burst of gas sending myself propelling forward.

"At least they bandaged and wrapped my other hand," I said, using my left hand to massage the right as I shot forward and landed on a building, using my momentum to roll before sending my hooks forward once again and latching onto the side of a bar.

'Well I can always come clean later in the court room,' I thought with a shrug.

I bounced off the bar wall and shot again, at a higher building this time and my hooks made contact. While I was shooting through the air, A fellow ODM gear user shot forward, her ODM gear whirring through the air as she struggled to keep up with me.

"Aeron, Fucking wait up!" Petra shouted out and her lips pursed together as I turned to her, rage visible in my eyes. She could see I clearly didn't appreciate being called out like this.

A thin line of desperation formed on her face as she still swung after me.

"Aeron, Don't you ever run out of gas?" Petra asked as she settled down on the large roof of a large house, probably belonging to some rich man in the Trost district.

"Probably," I replied as I landed next to her, retracting the hooks of my ODM gear and sitting down in the process, "But it isn't nice though, Having my day ruined by a stupid theory by Hange,"

Petra shifted closer and rested her head on my shoulder.

"I get you, I didn't believe in this theory too, I couldn't believe it when she said you might be a Titan," Petra said, "In truth, I was horrified... I didn't want to believe it,"

Petra found comfort in my warmth, even as the snow intensified a bit leaving her a bit disoriented and her cheeks pink.

"And I still don't... I mean Titans have that crazy healing shit power, If their heads get blown off, They can regenerate it within two minutes," Petra said, "But Isabel... the bitch stabbed your arm and let it bleed, I tried to convince her otherwise but she didn't listen. She said the mission was important, but your words... Aeron, Are you really not going to join the Scout regiment anymore?"

"Ahh, I don't know," I replied with a little sigh as my hand that lay on the ground limply wrapped around her waist and pulled her in, "But I want to put that and anything else that happened at the back of my mind right now and focus on the beautiful blond haired girl in my arms right now,"

Petra sighed.

"You... like women too much," Petra said.

"That I do," I said and pulled her hair closer to my face, planting a small kiss, "But you like me as much, don't you?"

There was no reply, It was almost as if she didn't know what to say... So this is what it meant to make her speechless.

"Well, You do love when I hold your waist though," I said with a smile, "Maybe I should try something a bit more personal, You know since we haven't seen each other in two years,"

Petra's blush intensified as she realized she didn't have it in her... to hit me for doing anything perverted with her. She had seen how bruised up I was after I was stabbed by Isabel and she had also seen what happened when Isabel had smashed my head against the bed... She didn't want to see any more of my blood.

"Uhh, Aeron?" Petra said, her voice a little bit low as her hand slowly went to my legs, "Do you want us... to be a thing?"

"Huh?" I asked.

"Like you want us to be a couple," She said, her voice low and her cheeks red.

"Of course I would but you have a crush on Levi though, right?" I asked, clearly confused about what was happening... Come on, It was just playful flirting and just a little bit of a kiss and waistholding, I can't be that handsome right?

"Fuck Levi," Petra said, her voice perfectly audible as her hand stopped right on my crotch, trembling a bit, "I don't care what Levi, Isabel, Hange, Farlan, Oluo, Eld or anyone else thinks about you... You could be a Titan in disguise for all I care but I've fallen deeply in love with you Aeron, I don't want you to leave me... I'd be traumatized if you died and I don't want to be separated from you,"

Her face leaned closer until it was right on my neck.

"I wanted you to join the Scout regiment so we could be together... I would try everything in my power to make you a part of the Levi squad so we would have been together, After all, I can't abandon my post," Petra said, her hands searching for mine and finding them, "So Aeron... I'll ask again, I know I'm at least 4 or 5 years older than you but I still want you Aeron. I want you to be my Boyfriend now and my Husband later," 

My lips felt dry, She had been rambling on and on but I picked something- She loved me. I had teased her the most, even teased her about her small boobs but even after I left... She felt worried and the two years away was crushing for her, not for me though, To be honest, I was enjoying myself with Anna, Mikasa and even Frieda who reluctantly accepted my tongue in her pussy but thoughts aside... I did really love her character.

And I was angry at the fact that she died against the Female Titan, Annie... I swear if she died again, I would have raged an everlasting war against Marley and crushed everything in it with or without the rumbling... but she was safe now and now she was mine.

"I love you too," I said and pushed her close, her face turning to mine and our eyes closing. A silent feeling of understanding formed between us and our lips merged...
