Peril on Crimson Avenue

"Now entering: Crimson Station, please stand clear of the doors." The intercom said as the monorail began to stop, we quickly got out of the monorail and through the station window we could see the anarchy that was brought upon the district, "Alright guys, stick to plan and split up, Lily and Atom are together and I will go by myself and save people too." I told Lily and Atom as we began to head down to the streets of Crimson Avenue. "I won't let this be like the Great Disappearance!" I subconsciously told myself.

I began my run throughout the streets, I saw three thugs about to terrorized a family, I quickly intervened, without saying a word I punched one of the thugs in the jaw knocked him down to the ground, "Get out of here!" I yelled at the family, they quickly ran away, I morphed both my hands into claws and began to slash at the two remaining thugs, they were defeated in a flash suddenly to my right I could hear screaming in the alleyway, I quickly look to see two more thugs terrorizing two kids, I got really angry really fast just from the sight, I ran towards the alleyway and instead of killing the thugs I knocked them out so the two kids wouldn't get terrified of me, "listen, I need y'all to get out of here, if you can go to the nearest police station please!" I ordered the two kids, the two nodded and began to make their way to the nearest precinct, "Oliver!" Lily yells out, "There you are, I got some bad news!" Lily began to tell me, "I just saw a bunch of Grin's men at my school, that must be their main attack point." what she said made sense, "Alright, you and Atom go over there while I stick around here helping people, I'll head over there once I'm done here." I explained to Lily, "Okay just be careful." Lily said as she parted ways with me, "We'll be back boss." Atom said as he floated towards Lily.

I was starting to get exhausting from running from block to block but I had to push through, I saw three thugs trying to break into a shop, I quickly rushed towards them, I pulled out my pistol and began to shoot at them and seriously injured all three of them... they'll live don't worry.

I couldn't stop no matter what, "I mustn't let this turn into another Great Disappearance!" I kept staying to myself, I didn't want Grin to win again, suddenly I stopped dead in my tracks and fell, my heart was aching really, really bad, "You must unleash it..." The dark voice returned once more, it felt like my heart was on fire, "You're at your max Oliver..." The dark voice said to me, the pain kept getting more and more painful, "lookie here boys." A group of thugs approached me at the worse time possible, "ain't this the guy that the boss told us about?" One of the thugs questioned, "he looks hurt... lets hurt him even more." Another thug said, "Yeah!" All the thugs said as they began to close in on me, "Watch Oliver, this is the power that is within you." The dark voice said as my body suddenly began to move on its own now, "Beat him up!" A thug said as he slammed a baseball bat onto my head but all it did was break it, whoever was controlling me began to morph my hands into claws and outta of nowhere two extra arms appeared, "This is the power of Requiem Oliver..." the dark voice said as it began to charge at the thugs, one after another they were all getting knocked to the ground, some might've been unconscious while others might've been killed from the power.

"This is what can be offered to you Oliver..." The dark voice continued on, I regained control of my body and as I did I felt a huge wave of pain coming from my head, "I think I just felt the baseball bat now." I sarcastically said, "When the time is right I'll be summonable but until then you must be patient..." The dark voice said as it began to fade away, I had no clue what just happened but what the voice was telling me was interesting, I had to wrap up here and head back to the others as soon as possible.
