Oliver vs Six Shot

After what happened with Lily and Atom yesterday I was gonna go out solo for a bit while Atom was healing Lily from her cuts and scrapes. We still had a few days before we would stop Grin Scurvy so I went out to go collect some clues on Grin and his evil plans, Requiem accompanied me like always so it was just the two of us for now.

"Help anyone!!" I could hear a voice cry for help, I decide to go investigate what the ruckus was about, the voice was coming from a alleyway I was approaching, I had a gut feeling that something bad was gonna happen soon and to my surprise something did, as I got closer and closer to the voice, it turned out it was a pre recorded message on loop which meant someone set up a trap, "Requiem!" I yelled out in caution, "The guy that put a bounty on your head said you would be a pain in the ass to capture but seems like you're more stupid than you look." A guy in a cowboy outfit began to tell me, "me? ever take a look in the mirror pal?" I mocked the cowboy, "I don't know who you are or what you want but get out of my way before I decide to send you into tomorrow... or maybe in a eternal sleep if I feel like it." I warned him, suddenly he whipped a old fashion revolver and began to fan the hammer in lightning speed, luckily for me Requiem was there to take the bullets for me, "Alright dude, you crossed the line, now you're gonna get hurt really, really bad." I said as I began to charge at him with Requiem behind me, he didn't react in time to dodge my attack so I managed to tackle him to the ground and disarm him, "Now what should I do to you, should I send you to the hospital in critical condition or should I interrogate you with my horrific methods?" I said trying to scare the cowboy, "now tell me, who hired you?" I asked him, "The Vicious Grin Scurvy himself, he put a bounty of $500,000 on your head and I'm here to claim it." He started to inform me, "So Grin Scurvy didn't have the balls to try and kill me himself, how surprising." I said to myself, "heh, you know what else is surprising?" The cowboy questioned, "what?" I asked, "this." He said when suddenly a gun fired and the bullet ended up grazing my leg, "ah shit!" I yelled out in pain, I wasn't wounded badly but it still hurt... like a lot, "Never saw that coming now did ya?" The Cowboy mocked me, "Maybe shut up more and kill me next time... oh wait there will be no next time." He said as he got back up while I just laid down cowering in pain, "I guess its my turn to monologue just like you- actually no, I just remembered you're gonna take advantage of that and try to recover so I'll just do the easiest thing to and just shoot you dead." The Cowboy said as he reloaded his revolver and aimed it at me, I couldn't do anything so I embraced what was gonna happen, it was inevitable but here it is.... but suddenly someone new came up, "He's right, you talk to much hero." A Shadow Ops soldier said as he walked toward the two of us, "Who the fu-" The cowboy began to yell out when suddenly the Shadow Ops soldier opened on the Cowboy, shot after shot after shot he didn't show any mercy... well only a little cause the Shadow Ops Soldier was using rubber bullets to take down the cowboy, "This is Overlord, Six-Shot has been taken down, we're requesting evac now." Overlord said to his ear piece, "what the hell?" I said as I got back up, "You know vigilantism is illegal in this world kid?" Overlord said to me, "whatever." I said as I began to stand up, when I looked back up after patting my clothes of dirt I could see a pistol being pointed at my face, "Fun fact, I could shoot you on right now for being a vigilante..." Overlord informed me, "...." I stayed quiet trying to not cause anymore problems, "...but I have more important matters at hand and can't waste my time killing some stupid kid that wants to play hero, I better not see you again kid." Overlord said as he approached a rope that led up to a helicopter, he took Six-Shot with him, and just like that the two of them disappeared from my line of sight, "What the fu-?" I said to myself, "Why does stuff like this always happen to me, its like its trying to foreshadow something right now, jeez." I ranted to myself, I began to hobble my way back to Lily's house cause now we needed to come up a plan to interfere with Grin's Rochester Tower Takeover.
